Independence village on scale from 1-5+ is better than 5. It is the best senior living place, the experience has been very positive. Food is good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Activities are available every day.

When I contacted a place for Mom, I was given several places geographically close to my home. StoryPoint Wyoming was one of those facilities. I took a tour and was immediately impressed not only with the physical facilities, but more importantly, the kindness of the staff that I met. [name removed] their sales person was an absolute delight. It was clear that she really loves her job there. Every resident that we encountered on the elevator in the hallway or walking around the building, she knew by name and greeted them warmly. She spent time answering my questions as well as my mother's and was really interested in making sure this was a good fit for her. She was in constant communication from the day of the tour until the day my mother moved in. During our tour, their executive director, [name removed] stopped by and introduced herself to us. She made a real fuss over my mother who is 103 years old. My mother is now the oldest resident at StoryPoint . She told my mom it was her job to make sure that the residence they had everything they needed, and that included hugs. She gave my mom a sweet hug which put my mother's mind at ease. From the staff that work in the dining room, the maintenance team, the receptionist, and the Corso care team, all have been very attentive to my mother's needs ever since she moved in. A member of the staff took my mom down for her first dinner in the dining room. They sat her at a table with a couple of other women who immediately took my mom under their care. Ever since that day, they continue having meals together and have formed great friendships. Because of my mother's age, not only do the staff look after her, but the residents do as well. It is so heartwarming. My mom is settling in well to her new home and really seems to enjoy living there.

My mother moved from an assisted living facility in Northern Ohio to Independence Village, Avon, four years ago. From the moment she moved in, both she and her family have been very happy with all of the staff there. The aids, nurses, housekeeping, dining room, maintenance and administrative personnel have all been friendly and helpful. Over the years, as her care needs increased, the staff worked with her and us to adjust to and meet those needs. As the family member responsible for making sure that her needs were taken care of, my mind was always at ease knowing how much the staff cared for my mother. I never really worried that she wasn't been looked after. It always warmed my heart to walk into her room for a visit and finding one of the aides sitting and visiting with her. These interactions did wonders to brighten her day.

My mom was there they took care of her my mom is in memory care but has some mental illness all her life we feared that they would call us all the time with issues and they did not only when it was most important and they had one contact "me" they did not share information with others they were very professional they handled her very well and they loved her. We simply moved her because it was closer to her doctors her family and friends and me as caregiver it was just too far for me to travel Our experience with Danbury respite care was nothing but great. the staff, the care, the food, the amenities, the activities were all wonderful. they loved Mom. It was a great transition from Mom's Hospital stay to Danbury thanks to Danbury

Heritage Hill is a wonderful community for senior living caregivers treat each resident with compassionate care. The facility is clean and well maintained. It is an asset to air community and a blessing to the families they serve.

Heritage Hill event have been a lot of fun this years. Between the streak cook out and the generation week their was a little something for everyone. The staff at the community seem very attentive.

It's very comforting to know that I have kind people to help me whenever I need. I have made great friends at Grand Village which I'm extremely grateful for. It's a great place to live.
