At Candlestone we have great food! The staff are great and always so kind. I am blessed that my son brought me to Candlestone. I love my courtyard view. Candlestone is a great place overall.

People are friendly and helpful here.

The staff genuinely seems to care about each resident and goes above and beyond to make them feel welcomed and loved. I appreciate the staff's communication with family and the time they take to learn about each residents like and dislikes in order to make them more comfortable. The facility is clean and inviting.

I liked the fact that the front desk had someone working there 24 hours a day and that the front desk staff knew who you were. I liked that they had outdoor spots you could use when you were there.

Everyone I have had interactions with have been very helpful. Low pressure sales, felt like they were truly trying to help me help my Mom. I would absolutely recommend the community to others who are searching for a place.

Staff are wonderful. Food could be better. Just going on my sister's opinion. They need handicap ramps at all entrances/exits. She is very happy there.

The staff is friendly, well trained and take time to learn the family's names, my moms name and things about her. I have even received calls from staff if they are concerned about anything! The facility is immaculate and never smells bad. The food is always tasty looking and my mom loves it there. Now she has one of the larger rooms (likely for a couple) but has windows, is bright with a lovely view. The common areas are clean, bright and decorated with relaxing colors. We are so happy with our decision to move my mom here!!

Story Point of Findlay has amazing staff and a amazing community to be a part of ! the food is wonderful and the building is always so clean and smells good. the staff always are so positive and informational love all of the great amenities.

The executive director, and staff all care very much for the residents. They have worked very well with me through the years to insure great communication, and that consistent, thorough care is provided. Everyone has a kind heart, and that gives me confidence that my loved ones are taken care of.

Extremely accommodating to each client. For example, my father is a retired Fire Chief. They offered a Veteran discount, but when the found this out they also created a First Responders discount with my father as the prototype. Our circumstances have also been unique in that we signed a lease, my father fell, and has had complications arise. Danbury has been so accommodating with us as we navigate thru all of this

I would rank it is a 5.0. But, with anything there are always areas of improvement. However, knowing resources and other options in the community coupled with what I have seen, my father has personally experienced. Our family all agrees,, Story Point South is by far the BEST option for anyone seeking independent living, instead of Assisted Living!! The community coupled with Green Leaves services proves an affordable independent living opportunity filled with activities, outings, a community where the entire atmosphere is like a family with constant allianes forming. I am most impressed with how friendly staff and residents are with everyone. I get greeted by residents and office staff every time I am on that campus. I cannot say that about any other community living optionsn, in which I have visited or my father lived previously. Considering the friendly and encouraged engaging community within their offered services, this residential community is truly above a 5. Story Point South is a well rounded, Senior Living Community. They have a beautiful campus with outside walking paths, surrounded with beautiful foliage and endless seating areas along the paths. This allows you to stop and take a break, before continuing your walk or just to intake some much needed vitamin D. This is great since my dad cannot take extended walks without a short rest. Inside the facility you can expect to experience a light aray of greys, creams, whites and hints of blue is the decor, this gives the appearance of a light and welcoming atmosphere, which also extends into to each apartment. The apartments are large and designed with beautiful light colors throughout, including the cabinetry. In addition, every unit has an outside space, either a spacious patio or balcony! Next, the campus also has on-site Theraphy Services and a beautiful dining room and has preset dining prior to every meal. Your plates are served with a cover on them to ensure all the food stays warm between prep and delivering to each resident. All of the staff seems to quickly learn The residents eating preferences and beverage preferences. There are water decanters on the tables prior to every meal. The maintenance staff are quick to address any concerns and repairs, including light bulbs a faucet that has a drip. There is a network of combination sharing channels by easy access to event calendars, newsletters attached to everyone's doors and what to expect with any maintenance or work around the campus to ensure communications are extended to every resident. There is on-site laundry rooms on every floor, which do not require any funding other than your own personal cleaning products. Everything in this facility is so inclusive and well planned! My family is over the top grateful for our father to still maintain his independent living in such a beautiful friendly and supportive community.

The aides always answer my calls when I need them. I never have to wait. I know the nurses care and they show it.

The building is beautiful and my father was so happy there. He passed away and the staff were a wonderful support to us.

Took a tour and was relocated that we could move [name removed] into a community that could help no matter what comes with his health. H''s made lots of friends and we rest easy he is being cared for.

My mom was there during COVID while everything was closed and the staff there made my mom feel like she was the most important person there. She loved the devoted attention and really loved the food. They always accommodated the times we were able to do window visits.

Enjoys socializing and activities. Food is good. Staff are attentive and help with what is needed. I am happy here. I enjoy attending all meals and activities and being out in the community.
