I love my apartment. I appreciate the new changes with the new owners. Much improved food is 100% better. I appreciate all the improvements. Activities are fun and most of them.

Our family is so thrilled that Blossom Springs has been here for us! We are so thankful for this beautiful place filled with warm, caring, friendly. Through, sweet caretakers and staff. The difference between my dad with this responsiveness in moving and getting back into physical therapy and playing chess is wonderful.

Our mother is doing fabulously there, she thought she would be happier to stay by herself but that is not the case. She is participating in most of the activities, she is very social and loves meeting all different people. She has told us she feels very safe there which is most important. Her apartment is beautiful, its well decorated and everything is better then what we could ever expect.

We chose StoryPoint Troy because it was highly recommended to us and they just seemed like a higher quality, more organized facility after meeting with them. I felt like she would get the best overall care here with good food and that has been the case. The room sizes are adequate for what she needs, they are private rooms and there is plenty of space. It is a high quality place and I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

One thing I was concerned about was the studio apartment type of setting. I knew that would be a tougher sell when it came time to convince our loved one to move. She would want to bring all of her things, and her queen bed wouldn’t fit. In our case this was bad, but for other people it would be good- it's a pet friendly community with a lot of rescue animals. Our loved one is not an animal person and would not have liked that, but lots of people would. I really liked their perspective on dementia. They told me the sooner you get your loved one into a community the better. Because that means the sooner they would start knowing that those were safe people and they were in a safe place. So as her memory went away and she might not remember the specifics, she would know she was safe. That was something I really liked.

Community is top notch! Staff is amazing and compassionate. I have toured many communities and you can “feel” the love when you walk into this place. You owe it to yourself to check them out!

Staff very courteous and caring, learn new names quickly and food is always delicious. Menu is balanced. Keeps us busy with projects.

Nice place to live

The nurses take good care of me. I like to go to bingo.

I came here because my daughter wanted me to be close to her family. I had some worries, about moving but I have a wonderful place. Everyone was very welcoming. I love all the activities we have a chance to do. Can say I am happy to be here.

Since becoming a resident here I have felt safe, loved, and respected. Waterstone has become my home.

We toured Gradhaven and my dad actually stayed here previously as well. It is a very nice facility but the location was just too far for what we were looking for for my mom.

Our loved one unfortunately was only there for six weeks before she passed, but during the weeks we have an excellent experience. They were extremely helpful and very accommodating towards our family. The community was pretty closed off but when our loved one went on hospice they allowed us to come in and stay with her. The community was definitely clean and well managed.

I have nothing but good things to say about Independence Village. When we were looking it was during covid and this one stuck out to me. It used to be a Hilton Hotel and it is just so nice there. The staff were friendly and they gave us a sample of the food. She loves the food here, on Mother's Day orderve, salad, and prime rib and desert. They come in the hallways between lunch and dinner and have snacks. It seems like the food is very upscale. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents and it reminds me of a cruise ship, they have things to do every single day. They have a lot of variety on apartment sizes for whatever you may need. It is perfect for my sister and I would recommend to others looking.

The people here are all so friendly and helpful. They are keeping us safe and keep us doing things. Love the people who work here.
