The staff is very caring, understanding, patient, and kind. They go above and beyond and are willing to do almost anything for the residents. The facility is only a couple of years old, so it is very clean, bright, and still has that new-car smell!!!

We moved Mom and Dad into Riley's Grove from our home rather quickly in July. We knew that this would be a very difficult transition for them and found the caregivers, leadership, support services, the beautiful building, and the resident community itself to be just the right fit in this new season of their lives. They are cared for well, loved and safe. We couldn't be happier - honestly!

I have been a resident for 3 years. I have seen the staff manage epidemics, shortage of help, shortages, etc. I think they have always done an outstanding job and I am very pleased to be able to stay here. And they keep smiling.

Riley’s Grove has done a great job helping my mom adjust to the transition to memory care. There were some staffing bobbles at first but lately they have been consistent! Their experience with dementia has been encouraging and helpful to us as we make decisions about my mom’s care. Would highly recommend.

We have appreciated the communication and friendliness of the staff. We checked many places before landing here. Happy we got in. While something’s could be improved upon, I think that could be the case anywhere. Most of all, dad is happy!

After touring several Memory Care Units in Fishers, we settled on Independence Village. We moved my mom there in late June. We are happy with the care she receives and the activities they offer. The staff genuinely cares and know all the residents' names and something about them. The daily "happy hours" are a great time to visit and interact with the residents. They have plenty of art and craft supplies to keep the residents busy. The courtyard in the middle of the building is a beautiful place to sit and visit on a nice day all while being safe and secure. My mom is happy there and I feel comforted knowing she is well cared for.

The people make this place. Both of my parents moved to Independence Village -South Fishers in September. It was a very difficult change to start, but the staff here has definitely helped the transition. From the top down to the bottom up. You can tell they care. This includes the house cleaning staff, meal staff and chef, maintenance, physical therapists, receptionist, sales and director. They are great and go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels like family. My parents also love the food which is a big deal.

My care person is very efficient and caring. Always has a smile. Overall, every employee is polite.

All of the staff and associates are top notch. and caring to residents. The only thing that could compare, in our opinion, is another StoryPoint.

I like to live here. She loves to play cards. She likes food here. She loves to shop and outings.

I love to live here. People are so nice and employees are very nice. They always check in my room to see if I'm okay. She loves the food., They gave me a shower and all that. No complaints. She is happy.

We moved my sister-in-law to Independence Village of Fishers just over a year ago. The entire team at this facility, from the Executive team to the aides, housekeeping staff, chef are all just amazing people! They know all the residents by name, they are welcoming and go out of their way for the families and I feel comfortable contacting them for anything regarding our loved one. They work with us on compassionate solutions and I always feel that they are truly paying attention to our personal situation. They do this for every resident and their families. I highly recommend Independence Village of Fishers!!

I am confident that my loved one is being cared for at a level consistency with her needs.

My Grandpa was always the most energetic and independent 95 year old you could imagine. He was living in an Independent Living cottage in a different community and still driving. We decided as a family that it was time to move him to a higher level of care after a few falls and hospitalizations. He toured Independence Village South Fishers and absolutely loved it! He was most excited about all the food and they even gave him a meal to try out! We were able to use the guest room for him to live in until we could get his furniture over there which was a huge weight off our shoulders. Once we got him all settled in his permanent apartment, he unfortunately started to decline quickly and required the transition to hospice care. All of his children live out of town and the community allowed them to stay in the community to be close with him until the end. The staff was always so friendly and helped guide my family through the end of life process. We are so grateful for the team there.

Briarwood gave us a great tour! The place was beautiful but out of our price range.

My sisters and I recently moved our mother from another community to this one. We couldn't be happier with the care that she is receiving, how friendly the staff is to her and to us, how accommodating the staff is to her needs, and how much better she is doing in just the few weeks that she's been here. It feels like a family here and we are so appreciative!

it was recommended to us to tour Danbury Independent Living as I'm currently looking for that type of situation for my father. [name removed] was wonderful and spent a lot of time with us answering our questions, showing us the facility, and even had us join the community for a meal (which was great)! While my father has not decided yet where he will go, Danbury IL is an excellent option and I would strongly recommend anyone looking for senior independent living to take the time to check them out.

If you are looking for a small, close knit community, you've come to the perfect place. The staff care for the residents as if they were actual family members. Residents are always smiling, and they seem to know each other as well as the employees very well! The Community itself has staff members that have been with the company for 20 + years and the passion and dedication are exceptional. The Executive Director is so involved that she even gives out her cell phone number to everyone! GREAT COMMUNITY!
