StoneGate Village is absolutely perfect for my dad. I am so grateful for this facility, it is exactly what he needs. The people are all friendly and warm. They have activities quite often that even my dad can go to even if he doesn't choose to participate he can feel apart of the festivities. I still am in shock to see the maintenance guy there almost every time I come. This as not the case at the last facility that he was in. They seem to really enjoy my dad. When I had to take him to the hospital I was given an envelope that had everything that I needed when I got to hospital. That was so nice. He gets physical therapy and also had a nurse that came in to do wound care. The aids caring for him follow suit with all recommendations that he needed. I feel as if a weight has lifted from me concerning his care. I am very much involved with decisions but it's not all up to me as what to do in any given situation. I am very grateful to have A Place for Mom there when I needed to have him placed into a facility. They helped me 2 times and I recommend A Place for Mom to anyone going through the same thing.

I had the opportunity to tour The Reserve at Red Run and visit with [name removed], the Marketing Director. This is a beautiful planned senior community for independent, active seniors with support services available. Three of my friends and clients have recently sold their homes and chosen to move into The Reserve. They chose The Reserve because of the features and competitive pricing offered. All I have told me how much they are enjoying the private amenities, staff, food and services - and community atmosphere.

We cannot rate the activities because my brother does not choose to participate in group activities and we cannot rate the value for cost because I am not involved with the cost of my brothers care. However based on the experience we have had, we would recommend Springvale community to other families.

Need for better dinner choices for diabetic and people with allergies. I was having difficulty finding choices as I have an allergy to all grains, not gluten, something else. [name removed] & [name removed] worked together to improve the menu to where a diabetic has much better choices. Since diabetes is always problematic, its a real triumph for an institution to be attentive to their needs & still please everyone else.

Life at the Reserve is good. The help are terrific if you need or have a problem. They are right there to help. The food is good - many new dishes to try & enjoy. Activities are many and fun. All in all, the reserve is a good place to live and enjoy life to the fullest.
