I have enjoyed being here the last 3 years. My apartment is very nice and modern. The entire staff has always been vey caring and helpful. I also enjoy all the activities, parties and cookouts. I’ve also made numerous friends here.

Typically assisted living situations don’t often offer such rich fulfillment for holiday celebrations, and outings but Gaslight is different!!! There are so many lovely events, the decorations are always perfect, not to mention the food, my kudos to whomever puts so much time and effort into it. Absolutely lovely.

Great activities and food. There’s always something for the residents to do. The staff is very helpful and kind. The chef manager always goes above and beyond when decorating the food tables for events and is always helping out in some way. Very beautiful and clean facility.

Someone took my keys out of my walker. I told the desk. She remembered seeing a man with a lot of keys. She ran and found him and he did have mine. She went to a lot of trouble to help me.

The people that work here are all so nice. Hope to start doing some of the crafts, day trips. Love to crochet, painting, stain glass but you don't do any of those.

My mother and I both love Creekside at Shallowford. The people have been great - everyone there is so nice! And very attentive to the residents' needs.

From the first meeting, they were excellent to work with. Going in to sign the contract, we met with each department head, which was nice but got to be a bit much after awhile. They are taking good care of Mom, and she enjoys the food, which is really good to hear. Mom is getting more involved with their activities, like the ice cream social, live music, hair salon, and even mentioned taking a bus trip to the local grocery store. Overall I am really happy with Clarendale and believe Mom is too.

From the moment you enter the doors you are greeted by very helpful and friendly staff. The facility is beautiful, up to date, very clean and inviting. The food and kitchen staff do a phenomenal job. Always cooking up something great to tantalize the taste buds of the clients. There is always something going on for the residence- whether its a night at the Grammys, the Kentucky Derby, or celebrating Mothers and Father's to name a few. In every season and holiday the facility is always decorated beautifully. From Taco bars to icecream socials the staff works hard to keep things exciting for the clients. They strive to and always encourage clients to be involved and include all There is something for everyone and no one is excluded. Trips and outings happen often. It really makes the residence feel part of society and that they are contributing. What I love most is the fact that the staff knows each and every resident by name. They not a number, but family.

I have had the pleasure of providing physical therapy services within independence village of Midland for a little over three years now. I can say, without a doubt that I have been the happiest I have ever been throughout my career. The environment here is happy and upbeat. Truly a close-knit small community. From management, support staff, and residents, there is no other group I would rather work with.

We toured with Independence Village of Grand Ledge and it was a very nice facility! Both my parents felt that the location was too far away and that it was too expensive. They really loved that they allowed dogs there though!

I think all in all Atria Pearl Crossing is a really nice place. They try to involve my mom in things that would interest her but also give her privacy when she wants it. Everyone is very friendly.

We love it here. The staff is wonderful. All around a good place to live.

After making a call to A Place For Mom, I started receiving numerous calls from facilities in the area I was interested in. However, the one that sounded the most like what I was looking for was Independence Village of Oxford. I responded to a text message invitation to take a tour. The staff member who greeted me and took me on the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was immediately impressed with the roominess of the apartments and the decor in the common areas. The dining experience and opportunities for daily activities are excellent. I highly recommend this beautiful facility located in northern Oakland County.

Everything has been god. I enjoy going to all the amazing activities they have here.

Staff is very caring

I couldn't be more pleased with Independence Village and its staff. My mom has lived here 4 years and have never heard any complaints. When we visit we find the facility lovely. Well maintained, staff that treats residents like family, and many activities and opportunities for socialization.

My sister has been a resident for 3.5 years and very happy and feels the friendliness and secure. My friend has been here about six weeks and to quote her "I love it here".

Staff is friendly and the place is always clean and bright inside! Food always smells delicious!

Now living 14 months at Story Point. The apartments are very nice and the weekly activities are A-ok! Especially when outside entertainers are brought in to perform for the residents. Bus transportation for medical appointments is super!
