My parents have lived at StoryPoint for two years. I am very grateful for the great experiences and friendships they've made there and I'm beyond grateful for the kindness and care they have received as their lives changed and they needed more support. They have both thrived in this beautiful place.

I own a Networking group called [removed name]. We have been around for 17 years. We set up a meeting at Storypoint North in Ft Wayne, IN with [removed name] to come and see the facilities and tour. Not only was the meeting great, [removed name], [removed name] + I set about to have our weekly lunch meetings at Storypoint N to give the residents something to attend, meeting some business owners in the area & it gives me the opportunity to promote Storypoint each week on social media so that others can see. It is helping us meet the residents and the residents know we are there and welcome them if they are interested. [removed name]tries to help promote events and participate so that others get to know Storypoint N. We all feel like family now. Thank you T[removed names] for seeing outside the box!

[name removed] chose Pinebrook because they had a 2 bedroom. The apartment has high ceilings making it feel roomy. The whole place has good lighting. It felt more like a home and less like a cave. Plus the apartment has a stove. I would recommend to others.

My dad was understandably kind of grumpy about moving out of his house, but even he has to admit this is a great place for independent living. The facility is beautiful and feels like a nice resort style hotel. The staff are first rate and get to know everyone by name and the food is very good and well presented. I stayed there for four days in a respite room myself when I was caring for him after surgery and felt quite spoiled by the comfort and food. Everything is thought of and taken care of.

My dad has been at Storypoint for 3 1/2 years. The staff are amazing! They genuinely care for the residents, I know making a hard decision he best decision our family made.

Such a great place for my 87 year old mom! Although mom doesn’t need assisted living, she was struggling to prepare her own meals, step into a bathtub to shower & keep up with cleaning at her condo. My sisters and I checked out Independence Village after a coworker recently moved her mom there. While there, I ran into 2 people I knew that recently moved there and 2 others - one who moved in her mom and the other her grandma. All raved about this place! The staff & community members are so friendly. I took the opportunity to ask people that I didn’t know if they liked living there and all of them loved it so we moved mom there. My mom appreciates the every other week cleaning and especially the dining room being open from 7am-7pm without having to adhere to set meal times. The walk-in shower is perfect for her. The building is clean and bright with lots of natural light. The activity calendar is full of events every day. I can’t recommend Independence Village enough!

I’ve lived in Southwick Village for 11 years even through a bankruptcy filed by a previous owner. Despite the bankruptcy I am happy I chose to continue living here because I know the current ownership cares about us and provides us with a warm and caring environment. This is especially evidenced in the many things the staff( from the Executive Director, Managers and individual staff) do for us every day. They truly care for us. My one recommendation is that a Memory Care Unit be added to the facility.

My experience at StoryPoint has been great. When I came, staffing was strong. As they have cute back staffing, it has slowed response time back (caregivers and servers) Ratings are 5 when staffing is full 4's when not nursing staff has been outstanding caring, compassionate and patient. When staffing is cut back (example: one caregiver at night). Or: absent are also caring and compassionate. Of all the places I've been this is the best facility and menu and activities. I especially appreciate the exercise provided everyday OT, OT etc are great but they too have had personnel changes frequently. Health care turnover in all fields of personnel seem high.

I moved here in [date removed]. The transportation is always reliable. I love out outings. Happy hour and entertainment happens two time a week and our bistro is always full.

[name removed] goes out of his way to make sure we have the best experience from the front door of Storypoint Chesterfield to our destination. Whether it be a doctor's visit or a shopping trip he is so helpful.

We are beyond happy with Storypoint as my mom's senior living community! The staff is so helpful and friendly. It is clean and beautiful and her apartment has everything. She needs. The meals are exceptional. Highly recommend!

When we started looking for a place for my mother to live, we checked out quite a few places in the surrounding area and Independence Village of Madison Hts stood out for a few different reasons. For one, every staff member who I have met has been friendly and attentive. [removed names] (in mgt) are exceptionally dedicated staff members. It’s apparent to me that they care about the residents, and are invested in the wellbeing of the people they serve. Secondly, it is a clean and attractive environment. Thirdly, the food is good and the residents are able to eat at times that are right for them. This was a big plus for my mother as the place she was living in prior had set times for meals, which was hard for her to adjust to. Finally, my mother always had a full life when living on her own, and she’s grateful that there are plenty of activities for her to participate in. Independence Village of Madison Hts checked off all the boxes for us, and my mother is very happy living there.
