Also liked this facility...very close to my work also.

The staff at Hunters' Glen was helpful, explained available services and worked well with Hospice.

For assisted living and memory care this is a smaller, cozier facility. Very comfortable feeling and nice location. Feels more like a home then a retirement center.

I really enjoyed meeting with Allison. The surrounding inside and out were very nice. The apartment was pretty spacious, light and bright. Food was delicious. Cons: storage was limited, however I need to let go of some things which is hard to do for me. Overall it was one of the nicest places I've seen. Will see how the others measure up. Thanks

Mom and I visited the place in 2013. Looked at a room, mom didn't like though that the room they showed her was on the second floor. Mom did like the room however, but her mind wasn't into moving into anywhere. For the price, it was about average for the area. Was clean and nice.

I have tried the food, and I found it pretty good, but I get a feeling it's up and down, so I would say a 3.5. I would like to see healthier food, they do have to comply with certain standards for health but I think it could be a little healthier. They are very friendly and very caring. Sometimes there can be a little of a negative influence from some other residents, it would be nice if the caregivers would notice that and help to lift her up when she gets a little down, that would be great.

We don't really use the care services, so that is sort of N/A. The food would be a four. We chose it on one of those gut feelings, it fit my mom more than the other places we looked at, it wasn't snooty.

My mom was there for 8 years in the independent living but I knew I wasn't going to put her into the assisted living there. The independent living is great because of the quality of the place as well as the quality of the living. The building is very well maintained. It was very solidly built in the first place and they've maintained it beautifully since. My mother-in-law also lived there for about 8 years. We really liked it a lot but the assisted living side is more like stick them in a hospital room and be done with it kind of thing. Neither my mother nor my mother-in-law were particularly enamored with the assisted living there.

It's been good so far. My grandma is in the assisted living so she pays for that and the level of care she needs. I think the care has been been great. There are activities available when she chooses to do them. I know they have singing, church and mass, they found a game of canasta for her, and they do bingo. They have all sorts of things going on. I would say good things about them so far. They've been good to my grandma.

The issue with Broadway Proper was that it was primary geared toward independent living. There is assisted living but they didn't have memory care so I kind of ruled it out because of that.

$1800 - 3000. no buy in. meals and until included 130 activities. 8 floor plans.

We're moving my father there tomorrow; we've been there and we think they would take good care of my father. If he is ultimately happy there he could stay there because they have the facilities he needs. It's clean, they're friendly, it's very nice, they have everything my dad may need, and they have availabilities which is pretty important. They have all the things we were told to look for: friendly, knowledgable, all things seemed to be in place. We looked at ratings and felt that it would be the best for us especially if he needed that kind of care we wouldn't have to move him; specifically the skilled nursing he needs to be released from the hospital.

This was a really good community that our loved one enjoy being at the staff was friendly helpful and they had lots of activities. She got sick and had to get a higher level of care so we had to move her.

Very clean. Only independent living and assisted living plans to expand to memory care and possoblly have a MD office on site. Comfortable setting not too highbrow. Apartments are unfurnished LR can handle love seat and maybe recliner. has breakfast bar. kitchen good size refrig. stove and dishwasher. upgrading to ss appliances.

Liked a lot clean and nice beautiful grounds and rooms. room layout makes the rooms seem very small.

Was very nice. Food was very good. We saw both a 1 bedroom model with furniture on the 2nd level (no balcony) and another on the main floor with a patio. This may be "the one".

Did drive by. Beautiful green lawn and bright colors. Location - not sure. Good visit with director. The bldg itself is about 30 years old, but has been occupied by SeniorStar for about 20 years. Lovely green lawn, flowers and pretty trees. Courtyard has roses and other flowers as well as elevated flower boxes so that people do not have to get on their knees to work in them. Also a fountain and 2 outdoor firepits. Inside, the decorating is tastefull. Things go together and do not look as if they've just been thrown in to make the space look warm. The halls are more narrow than most. The apartments are pleasant with adequate closets which have doors. Kitchen is big enough with full size frig, stove, oven and dw. Light fixtures are updated. Pull cords in the bathroom with intercom in the living room. A variety of activities are programmed (See calendar provided). Different levels of help can be contracted. Dining room on 2nd floor overlooks courtyard. The staff throughout was pleasant and spoke with me as an individual.

Very nice facility and friendly setting. Very impressed, but only take mild dementia residents.

Dad really liked this facility. The staff was attentive to us and appeared that they were generally happy. The layout of the facility was a bit like a metro apartment livng style but had an open feeling to it with all of the window. Food was good.
