Westhills Newnan Crossing is a beautiful facility. My loved ones were only there for a short amount of time though, so it is not fair to give comments.

My loved one is currently a resident at Carriage Hill Retirement and overall her experience at this facility has been okay so far Everybody is as kind and as helpful as can be. However, the facility is very understaffed. They're all friendly and doing the best that they can but they are very understaffed. As for the food, they don't get much of a choice in what they have to eat. It's everybody gets the same thing. And it's not great quality. They do allow pets, which is great.

This feedback over Westhills Newnan Crossing is strictly based on our situation, somedays are very good while others not so much.

I feel like they have had some staffing issues for several weeks. According to A Place for Mom, The Villas at Canterfield was highly rated. They should be making some improvements.

The person I talked with originally did not explain the difference between assisted living and independent living. I explained my situation and she recommended Superior. I only stayed there three months. I was paying for services I did not use. The food and the Chef were terrible. I did not like the activities director at all. He came in the dining room and told dirty jokes which was an insult to me. I was really unhappy there. The apartment I was in had no ceiling fans no way to get fresh air into the space. The windows did not open and I had no balcony. There was no outdoor space and the people went out the front entrance in their walkers and wheel chairs blocking the entrance and it was hard to get through them. It even made the cars have to stop and give them time to move out of the way. I guess you can see why I was unhappy there. It was hard to move again. It cost me to have to move again. I don't know why the person I talked to sent me to Superior. The first thing any representative should do is listen and recommend the right category to the people calling in. Also I told her how old I was and the residents were much older and more limited than I was. No opportunity to make friends.

The price was most reasonable out of all the places we investigated. Some individuals were top notch. There was not proper room for memory care patients, ours only had a recliner...no bed. It sort of worked in our case, but had to share a room with patient with a bed. They are priced fairly and do negotiate and I would recommend, but not for memory care patients unless they make substantial changes.

The staff is overworked and needs to be augmented to reflect the higher resident count. They promoted activities and a full time Activity Director in the Memory Care area, but there is no Director and the activities appear to be primarily putting the residents in the tv room. My loved one would benefit greatly from being busy. This is the biggest over exaggeration of services included. I'm not sure if I would recommend this facility to others.

The activities director and head nurse were most friendly and engaging. However, the urgent call button which every resident has was very slow for response. I believe there was a significant shortage of staff. There also seemed to be a high turnover of workers. Head kitchen staff did not stay very long. Sometimes breakfast was picked up at McDonald's for the entire residents. For elderly persons (which they all are) the menu was very high in carbohydrates. If they could get the kitchen up to par it's a great senior living place.

They have not been able to give us a schedule for when Physical therapy will come so that we can organize our own physical therapy. We were led to believe that they would use the pure wick system when we got in there but now they absolutely refuse and have not been using the transfer methods that we went there with the belief that they would use and mom has been somewhat injured. The call buttons have not been working and my mom has been left unattended on the toilet for over an hour for three days in a row. We have communicated with the Director and not much has changed. Their call system does not seem to work and off and when I called to try to get help from someone after mom has push the button and not been helped the phone system for the whole building is down and nobody answers at the concierge's desk. There have been some obnoxious and rude staff who have made the experience scary. There is not a good system in to hold the employees culpable there are not enough cameras around for security. The door is hard for a handicap person to open and lock. Feeling pretty sure that their contribution towards my mothers dwindling strength is going to give them an excuse to kick them out and they will keep large down payment. There are lots of ridiculous hidden fees as in if somebody wants to take their food from the cafeteria they charge them [fee removed] even if they are taking the food themselves not having it delivered. My dad has been charged 3 to 4 times the cost of medicine when they charge him from Vitality versus when he has the prescription mailed to him amounting and over [fee removed] a month there are a lot of hidden fees and when they're not doing their job on the front end it doesn't seem worth it. Especially when the call button don't even work.

The staff are wonderful, caring people. But things are just not getting done when it comes to cleanliness, activities, and resident care. I am hopeful that Aspens will be able to improve on those things going forward.

We toured with The villas at Canterfield and the facility was nice and amenities and activities were a big plus, but honestly they didn't act like they cared if we we settled there or not. They never followed up to our visits, very slow to respond to phone calls, etc.

They need more staffing. There is not enough for the number of residents living there. Dining area needs a good cleaning and tables that don't wiggle. It's too dark in the dining room. Devoid of any type of atmosphere. The food is totally gross and at times unrecognizable as to what it is. I have noticed that sometimes a staff member would roughly place the plate of food in front of the resident rather than serving the food. It was as though they were feeding animals, not human beings. Sad.

They must be short staffed. They are not able to check on our family member the way we feel they should for the cost that we're paying.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff communication with the family is a big problem, as well as internal. The was no consistency about when my loved one should be showered, because there was no internal staff communication. The response time to calls and emails is lacking. I'm still waiting back on calls about a billing issue we . The food didn't ever look appetizing. I feel that they don't think the residents will care about the food because of them being in memory care. The doctor never discussed a medication that they wanted my loved one on and I'm thankful for that.

My loved one seems to like the food. The value for the money is okay. We picked this community because it was the only one that was available They have a good staff, that is hands-on, and deals with the residents. Management could do a better job with communicating, when we first moved in the communication was much better. I would recommend, it for those who need high-level memory care.

The staff are not encouraging my loved one to participate in the community activities. Due to this, my loved one hasn't been able to make friends here. Due to medical issues my loved one has a hard time remembering how to get assistance from the staff, and then they let my loved one be sedentary. The staff communication with the family is good when we have questions or concerns, though.

The staff and residents were nice. The community had a nursing home feel and smell to it. Plus it was smaller than we wanted for our loved ones.

We really do like the people at Village Veranda, the staff members and residents alike are very friendly and very helpful. The executive director is really a great person. We do see different activities going on which is great. Overall we have had a positive experience but at times the communication is lacking and they are struggling with staffing.

Sunflower Springs could absolutely improve on everything!

With exception of a couple of people, the staff that is involved with the residents are very unempathetic and have no knowledge of how to deal with peoples physical and mental limitations. When you are spending around $5100.00 a month you have some expectations. Just being a pleasant person is important to a lot of residents as many don't have a lot of family that visits them . A lot of the employees at Trinity Hilly were there just to get a pay check and were not knowledgeable in their job.
