Brookdale Carrollwood has a lot of hallways and alcoves. It seemed slightly larger than what we were looking for. It did not seem as clean as the slightly smaller community we chose. The staff that we meet seemed nice and knowledgable.

This is a nice community with a good staff. They are caring for my mother very well here. The staff has been friendly and very helpful. There is always someone around to help. The community is pretty clean and everything looks okay. She does enjoy the activities they offer like the games. She loves the meals they have very good food. If you are looking into care make sure you explain your care in detail to the community so they know everything they need to do.

I really just took a quick tour of the Brookdale Northdale facility, but from what I saw initially about the place is that it is a somewhat decent place to live. I know that the staff was definitely very friendly.

They tried to work with us. My father has alzeihmers. But there were a few needs that he had that they overlooked in the assessment (which in retrospect I feel should have been more thorough). I ended up having to get dad out of there and into a care facility that had more of a focus on memory care.

Even though our mothers has not been at the Haven very long, so far our experience has been good.

It was nice, clean, the staff were friendly. We liked it, we were going to move in, but it didn't work out. It ended on a good note though.

It was alright. I have thought about that as a back up option. The only reason I really didn't pick Emeritus is because I started getting negative feedback on them from a TV program.

The nursing staff are all very nice and helpful. It was also one of nicest in the lower price range. Management is not the best.

I would recommend if client is still capable of most things independently. Any extra effort required by staff is not appreciated.

Some nurses were very helpful, others didn't do much, so hit or miss depending on whom was working. They didn't accommodate the multiple moving of furniture we had to do and they were proactive on comments we made, like ants in the bathroom.

Not enough people to help when someone needs help a very long wait for someone to answer a call Even something serious like a fall. I really would not recommend. Too many times I felt like my husband wasn't getting proper care I was worried! A beautiful facility tho

It was a combination of things for us- The aesthetic from the front door was warm, modern, vibrant and well-attended. The apartments were beautifully appointed, modern and allowed for self-sufficient living ( full kitchen and washer drier included) The dining room was lovely with its outdoor seating and restaurant feel. And having different dial options made it feel less like a cafeteria and more like a restaurant. The price point was very reasonable. The staff was welcoming and kind

The safety of all members seems very good. The prepared meals and free laundry are beneficial. The van service is helpful but more ride locations would help. Increase front desk capabilities to ensure delivery and safety of drop offs.

Trevi is a beautiful facility. However, proceed with caution. This is the weekend of the big ice storm. I just discovered there is no backup power for the facility except the first floor lobby. There are 5 floors and 3 wings here. It’s going to get very cold if we lose power. We are all old people, some disabled, unable to withstand cold for very long. Also, when I first came, the food was outstanding and the menu large and comprehensive. Not any more. Food quality has been going downhill for a couple of months. The menu has been more than cut in half. So check carefully before you sign on dotted line. Who would have thought that one question you needed to ask was about backup power.

I'm not sure I would recommend it to others. I am moving him to a facility closer to me and I already feel like it's much more organized. I will tell you that the two main issues were the communication about medication and the inconsistency with the food. My dad said that for over one week, the dining hall was closed and they delivered their meals in Styrofoam boxes to their rooms. He said the food was awful. One night he got a corndog and was appalled. Very inconsistent with the food, which is why I think they are short staffed or that they simply aren't keeping their help

I feel that Hunt trace is a good fit for my sister. It isn't the most glamorous, but it is sufficient for her needs and affordability. She is 10 minutes from where I live, which makes it nice for both of us so so far so good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. By the way, your help with this was just tremendously helpful for me.

The facility was clean. When we walked into the assisted living building, we were greeted by a dozen old people sitting in wheelchairs staring at the floor. It was not a good look and gave the impression of overcrowding and people not being engaged in life. Assisted living and independent living are separate buildings. Running through a process is required to share the amenities. Assisted living excercise equipment was stuffed in a corner and the two machines looked like they have not been used in a decade. PT & OT were in a small little room. Just not a good look

Would recommend hiring RN staff for each unit- Memory Care and Assisted Living. And admin staff more attentive to family concerns.

The caregivers and med techs are kind, caring and attentive. Administration is difficult, distracted and difficult to get communicate with, not very responsive. Experience with the in house healthcare provider was very poor, housekeeping is kind but quality is hit or miss. Even though this service is included, I change my mothers sheets weekly, and frequently do her laundry and light cleaning due to lack of it being done.

There was a smell of urine on entering. There is a 4/30 staff/resident ration which seems low considering it is memory care. It is concerning that they lock residents in their rooms. It was requested that someone call regarding the unattended death report from February but nobody has called.
