North Brook Place has been an overall good experience. It is clean. The staff is friendly. It is a good value. I am very pleased with this facility. I don't have any complaints. Mom loves the place very much.

Good security and facility is very clean. Only concern is dietary.

At The Villa at Canterfield one thing that bothered me is I only needed one week and had to pay for two. That really bothered me. The facility called to let me know how much I owe and didn't ask for any feedback or anything like that. My husband was the one that stayed there. He said the stay was okay. There were some staff members he liked and some he didn't.

Nice place, great food, but I felt their menu was limited. Their cost for their "large apt." was high for sq. ft., then start adding on for this and that. Apt. "Open concept" meaning no doors on bath or bedroom.

They have a nice list of activities, but it seems that only about 50% of the time do they do what they have listed. There can be more activities and getting the residents engaged. The people there though are very nice and seem to be really good people that genuinely care and are really friendly. They just seem to be slacking a bit in the creativity department.

Lovely facility. Residents were friendly, cheerful, and honestly hilarious. Nurses were respectful of the residents and extremely conversational. Even folks who were 'new' were excited to show off the property. Memory care was a bit larger than we would like, but the aides and nurses were caring and engaging. It DOES seem like a community that is close knit - which can be great - but it seemed that there might be some 'melrose place' style drama. We heard about the casanova who enjoyed visiting his many girlfriends, then a 'heartbreaker' who was involved with one gentleman, but when another moved in she 'dumped' him. The comment was that he was 'heartbroken' and took a long time to get over it...but was said with a laugh. Maybe it wasn't serious by any means, but I felt bad for the guy - especially when it seemed that maybe everyone in the whole joint knew about it. Last up, the dining center doesn't have assigned seating, but there was a comment mde that it was like 'church' and everyone had their spot with their friends. It could either prove to be an amazing place because everyone is getting along and engaging, or it could be a disaster - depending on how quickly someone acclimates or how 'popular' they might be. All of that said it's still one of our top two (out of 9 visits). Loved the facility, the layout, the staff, and the 'senior party' atmosphere. Just hope that if my mom moves in she doesn't feel overwhelmed, rejected, unpopular, or 'heartbroken.'

We currently use Brookdale Carrollwood for daycare, and overall they do a good job. It is a nice looking place, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is also somewhere we are considering moving into, although there are a few things I think they could work on. I think the community could be set up better for those with mobility issues, and I also think the prices are a bit too high.

Loved Lisa!, (great background in the business and very knowledgeable.) Property was maintained very well and residents were out and about. Good plan for activities, clean and welcoming,nice rooms. Overall a serious consideration for my Mom.

They are very good. So far we don't have any concerns. He seems to like the food. I don't really have anything I would like to see them improve or do better at this point.

This is one of the places we toured when we were looking for places. The rooms were more like hotel rooms. It just had tiny quarters. The people were nice, but it was just such a small place, I felt like my mom would be claustrophobic there.

I have two parents staying at The Villas at Canterfield, one in memory care, one in assisted living. Based on my overall experience with both of them I would say they are by far the best when compared to other places that we have checked out. The value for the money is wonderful. The place is spotlessly clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The one area I can think of where they might could improve would be to have better communication, particularly in the memory care unit. I would like to be more proactively informed of things and kept in the loop on what all is going on at all times.

They did a fine job. We didn't have any concerns about them. This was just a short respite stay, but it worked out well. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. No issues to report here.

Beautiful new complex, very impressive. Outside grounds were beautiful, 10 miles from home. Staff was friendly. Seems a little younger for my parents. Apt. was ideal location, very clean, spacious. bad reviews online made my decision to decline moving them here.

Horizon Bay was very nice. The people were very nice. Out of the 4 tours we did, Horizon was the least expensive, but we decided on a facility that was closer to where we will be moving.

The staff is very friendly and helpful with all our needs. My mother is very happy here.

We've had a good experience with The Haven in the Summit so far! It is a very nice looking, clean facility, and the staff have all been very friendly. They've got a lot to offer their residents, they do a great job with the care and their activities calender always looks very busy!

It’s very nice. The staff seems to be well trained, however it is quite expensive and you need to search around for different facilities, unless you have. The staff is very cooperative and they seem to go out of their way to help you.

The care services have gotten better since we first started. The food’s good. I haven’t had any trouble finding parking. The laundry service would be a four. They have some very beautiful courtyards for residents to use.
