they were all very friendly and the two directors went above and beyond, they helped us during one of the most difficult times. we accomplished what we went there for, it couldn't have been any better under the unfortunate circumstances. the meals to me were fine, but some of the foods were difficult for my loved one to eat, but when we brought it up to them they took care of it. they catered to her, if she didn't want something they would make her something else in its place, like a sandwich. they do offer transportation to appointments and stores, although we never used that service. they allow pets and smoking is not allowed. they were very responsive to issues that arose while our loved one was there. they would usually greet me with updates about my loved ones day when I walked in to visit. I think that was just a direct result of me being vocal, being there daily, and making sure I knew the director and her daily caretakers. from past experience, I know that you have to be vigilant about taking care of your person and staying on top of things. they have two locations, and the Whipps Mills director was also involved at the other location, so I'm sure they are both ran very well. I would recommend Creekside to others.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice experience

We chose Creekside at Three Rivers because they were able to take him in immediately and able to provide a fully furnished apartment for him which was great because he had no furniture at the time. They went above and beyond for my brother and we had no complaints. This was definitely the best fit for him.

We are satisfied with the community as my loved one is being take care of and is safe. The community is in a convenient location for the family to visit our loved one. The staff are very helpful in answering our questions, or addressing our concerns about our loved one. Housekeeping, laundry service, making of the bed, all meals, the room, and care are included in the monthly rate. We were able to find a private room here and my loved one was able to bring their own furniture with them to the community. This was a big plus for us. The community is able to assist with hygiene, bathing, medication management, and transfer assists for my loved one. The food is good for my loved one here. Book club, movies, crafts, entertainers, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to choose from if they would like to participate.

Dad moved to the village in [date removed] because of declining health and inability to care for himself at home. He was quite opposed to the move, and for several weeks fussed continually. But, as his health improved (medication supervision, better sleep, and eating habits that improved) he accepted his "new home" and has been an integral part of the activities there. Now he tells me Ashbrook is home and he tries to assist and encourage the staff and fellow residents. He is always complimentary of all the staff…particularly the head of administration, lead nurse and med distributors...he says they are always working hard and have way too much to do!! Thanks to all the staff for dad's care! Ashbrook is certainly a place I would recommend for an aging loved one. Thank you!

We went with Inspirations of Florence because it was more affordable than some of the other facilities we were looking into. The apartment size he had in assisted living was very good. When he went down to memory care the room size was smaller and he had to share that room with another resident. There was only room for one bed so he slept in a recliner. He was borderline for their care and needed more attention than they were able to provide. They have undergone a change of ownership and the new director sees deficiencies and is going to try and make some changes so we are hopeful.

I just like the woman who gave the tour. The facility is very pretty and on a preserve with a pond. They have a bird abortorium. This place is in our top 2!

They do have a good attitude to work with. It's a really good fit for certain elderly population. Old ladies that love bingo will fit in great. It would not be a good fit for someone who wants more than just bingo and maybe bridge instead. Overall, I think it is a good place.

I would recommend this community for your loved one

We chose Sunflower Springs because it was a newer place, they offered better amenities, and everything was very clean. It is also easy access, some of the places were too big and confusing. We have had several hiccups early on as far as getting things straightened out with medicine care. We did also have some issues with the cleaning services, but it is a staffing issue and they said they are working on it. Overall I would recommend to others

I thought The Colonnade was pretty good overall. They just didn't have as compelling of pricing as another place we looked at.

I would tell others Seagrass Village is nice and new. They have three levels of care. The staff seem to be in tune with what the residents needs are. On the weekends it seems they don't have enough staff. My loved one is doing well and is getting attention from the staff they need. The staff is very good to work with. The upper management is excellent. The laundry attendants and caregivers are excellent as well. The head nurse seems overwhelmed by taking care of the entire community; however, she always gets back to me and keeps good correspondence.

This community was fair, I was not too impressed. They gave me information and answered all of my questions this was just not the right place for my loved one.

The biggest concern I have is with the care. What the community has to say they can do, they don't follow through with it. I'm not impressed with the way they have the med techs set up. Life Force is the primary doctor of the residents in the community. There are times when I don't hear back from the staff for a week or more. The building and rooms are gorgeous.

Good community, not as many activities offered.

Seagrass Village provides good care, they try and engage residents in activities. for those with mobility and a willingness to participate, the activities would be a plus. this community is kept very clean with nicely sized and good looking rooms. i would like to see an increase in staffing, as to increase the amount of attendants who are with my loved one at a time.

We had a good tour experience at Creekside. I don't feel like my loved one gave them a fair try though because he had a family member who used to live there back when it was Bashford Manor Nursing Home. Even though the ownership has changed, he just couldn't get past that.

This community is aesthetically lovely. It is in a great location and everyone in the building is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hardest part is the lack of the communication with the family outside. Be proactive because you will have to be your loved ones advocate at all times.
