Spring Hills

We are lucky to have found Spring Hills. My loved one is eating and participating in the activities offered. The staff seem to really care about the residents. Overall we are pleased with our experience here. We would recommend the community to others.

Post pandemic the staff at Spring Hills Morristown were a wonderful staff open to family visits and one-on-one support of our loved ones. During the pandemic SH has been open and communicated all the challenges and have worked with us to their best ability. There is always room for improvement and we are happy to be part of the evolving solutions that might be needed.

Wonderful staff! They took exceptional care of my mother. they treated her like family. one of the criteria I had for finding a place for my mom was would I live there -and I absolutely would!!! it was extremely clean, neat, friendly, and lots of things to do. I can’t think them enough for the wonderful care they gave my mother!!!

The facility is very well maintained based on what I've seen of the public areas, restrooms, parking lot, elevators, sample units and some office areas. The variety of apartment floor plans are appealing but, of course, cost more if you want more space. I especially like the polite and friendly staff, attentiveness to medication protocols, the stately decor and even the fact that they use actual fresh table cloths at every sitting and a rather surprising list of menu items that are custom prepared to your liking. They are taking precautions against the COVID threat by curtailing trips to busy public spaces. So, far this place has my vote.

To be honest ,my family has try different assisted living facilities in the pass ,but this one is totally different , First when you walk in looks like a 4 start hotel ,the staff welcome you like they know you for ever,i experience the music of one of the performers and was amassing to see how the residents was so happy and singing to the music than i have to stop and join than for a while.and something than i like the most if the issue than most of the other assisted living my family has been in the pass has this particular smell ,This facilities has nothing like that a really nice very pleasant smell. This is a great place and the security and the staff are great and the location can be better ,you has everything in walking distance and the 429 express way is at less of 1/4 miles from the building. I totally recommend this place to anybody looking for a place for the love ones.

The folks that manage and work at Springhills are a wonderful group of people. The care and compassion they offer my mother are what I have always envisioned for meeting her needs for good memory care. Anytime I had a concern or question they have been quick to respond to my concerns. If I had any concern that would require further review they have always follow-up quickly with an answer even if it is was on a weekend. One other important aspect of assisted living beside the medical side is the level of food service. I have been very impressed with their menu selection and of its quality. They listen to their residents for requests and change the menu frequently. The servers are friendly and attentive always exercising patience and respect to each resident. Spring Hills was a great place for my mom. The staff was very caring. At meals, there was a menu for residents to order what they wished - and the wonderful servers would have suggestions for what they knew my mom would like when she was stuck in grilled cheese sandwich mode. There were lots of activities each and every day, with outside speakers and performers on a regular basis. The value for what we paid was incredible - before my mom moved to Spring Hills, we had three hours of in-home care daily. It was only 50% more than that to have her at Spring Hills in a wonderful environment that she often compared to being on vacation. My mom was at Spring Hills for over four years - I generally visited a couple times a week and everything was great every time. I wholeheartedly recommend Spring Hills.

We were very happy to find a place where we could keep Mom & Dad together. SpringHills, was able to accommodate both my parents. My mom has early stage Alzheimer's and Dad has some health issues and dementia. The living space was larger than most. My parents are enjoying the facility. They are generally pleased with the food and friendliness of the staff. We are also glad that there is a memory care unit that fortunately isn't needed at this time. Since they both have dementia, they will be able to continue living together if/when they decline.

My husband and I moved our brother-in-law to Spring Hills more than a year ago. Our experience of the service and care at this facility has been wonderful. People have gone out of their way to make my brother's experience a good one full of stimulation. He and his wife love the food and are the first ones to arrive in the dining hall (with white tablecloths and menus!) for each meal. We were very concerned that they were becoming isolated and at risk of falling when living on their own. Being a Spring Hills offers them a lot of daily interactions with other residents and staff, great trips to shops and to casinos and great entertainment. My brother often calls me to tell me about the musical entertainment they've offered the residents. I feel very assured that he is in an excellent place with many caring individuals.

The staff is very friendly and sincere. Everyone tries very hard to make the residents and their families feel comfortable. The place is very inviting and well appointed. I'm most impress with how bright and cheery it is, and no smell whatsoever of any medicinal or antiseptic products. Lots of places to sit and be social, or have some private time with family and friends.

Excellent facility. I have been to many such places. Staff is warm, friendly and considerate. They are also tuned into the wishes and needs for each client. From the first day we came to Springhill we were impressed with how welcome we felt.everyone was so helpful and made us feel welcome. Our first meal was as good as any restaurant we have gone to(and we have been to many all over the U.S.) we have been here 4 months and everything has gotten even. Better. This is the finest you can find anywhere best

My mother is doing just fine since her move to this community. This is a pleasant community, she is in good hands. They have a very good staff. They have been great with their communication, and friendly when I come to visit. She seems pleased with the meals, and they do offer activities for the residents to participate in when they are ready. I know she is safe, and this is community is working out pretty well for us, and I would recommend it.

The tour of this community was very nice. The community is clean and has a good environment for care.We liked the menu of the choices of the meals that are served. They offer residents to participate in the activities that are offered. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

We toured this community when looking for my mother and it was very lovely. They had a group conversation with us and were very friendly. The atmosphere is very homey and small. It's nice that it's small so things wouldn't be overwhelming for a resident. The only reason we didn't choose Spring Hills is the rooms were too small.

Our mom has been at spring hill for just over a year. As with anything, there are pros and there are cons, but in this case, the pros are the things that really matter. Mom is well attended to. The nurses and Cnas are patient, attentive, and friendly. We are kept well informed as to moms needs and any changes noticed by staff. Her room is kept tidy by staff, and common areas are comfortably neat. The food is great, mom never has complaints about it. I have found that activities vary from childlike to appropriate, but my guess is that it's done to meet everyone's capabilities, with that said, mom is encouraged routinely to partake in activities which is refreshing since she had spent so much time at her home doing not much more than watching tv. There appears to be a genuine comeraderie among staff and we have come to view much of the staff as an extension of our family. It's true that every facility will have its ups and downs, but mom is very happy and my brother, and I feel a weight lifted knowing that mom is here.

The entire staff is always helpful and friendly. They are good listeners. The food is top notch. The common areas are always clean. The maintenance staff is quick to respond. Phone calls have always been returned within 24 hours. It's a great place with great people.

The team at Springs Hills has made my family feels so comfortable. Everyone is friendly and truly welcoming. There is a positive can do attitude that resonates across the entire facility. My dad and step mom feel like they are living on a cruise ship! Kudos to the team.

About a year ago we realized that our mother was going to require much more care than she was receiving through Independent Living at Brookdale-Longwood. She had fallen multiple times over a six month period and her short term memory was declining. We also knew that finding the correct Assisted Living facility was key to avoiding a further decline. We looked at several facilities in the Lake Mary/Longwood area but when we met the staff and saw the Springhills facility we knew we had the right place. Our mother loves it and we couldn't be happier. The staff here is incredibly caring and they love what they do. It's obvious. The dining room is top notch. You'll never find an Activities Director with the enthusiasm that Robin has (guaranteed). We regularly interface with Ojanay (Director of Resident Care) and Dania (Resident Concierge) and we have depended heavily on both of them as mom goes through this difficult period. True professionals. The facility itself looks like an old Southern home and the staff provides a family atmosphere. Because it can only handle 84 residents the staff knows everyone very well. When my mother recently came home from breaking her wrist she was welcomed by everyone as if she'd been gone for years. It made her week. I knew she was home too.

I chose Spring Hills of Somerset because their community is bright and inviting. Their Great Room is very cheerful and their Meals menu is larger than most others and changes weekly. Courtney, the Community Relations Counselor, is so wonderful and helpful. I know my mom will be happy there.
