Spring Hills

Spring Hills at Lake Mary does a fantastic job at every service that they provide but we are most impressed with the staff. Every employee from housekeeping & maintenance, to recreation, to dining room, nursing & medical to the administration, treat my father as if he were a member of their own family. He truly loves every staff member and is deeply moved by their kindness, respect, and dignity in their daily interaction with him. He is very happy living there and loves the food and recreational activities and entertainment. Highly recommended

Mary Yatczyn, Son Joseph August 2014 My Mother, Mary, entered Spring Hills Assisted Living in April 2010. She was a resident there until June of this year when she passed away. During this 4-year period the staff at Spring Hills was terrific. I compliment Karen as director and Barbara as head of patient care and Robin individually, but wish I could name the whole staff. They were all loving, committed to making her happy and comfortable and always ready to go that extra step to meet all her needs. The facility was always clean and offered many programs to keep my Mom busy and happy. She lived to 95 years old and I know that was because of the special care she received at Spring Hills. I would highly recommend Spring Hills to anyone as they are a five star out of five star facility.

The staff was very helpful in making this a smooth transition. My father is doing well and is very happy there.

My mother and I visited the Spring Hills community, we were very impressed with the facility and the staff.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This place was very impressive. It was clean, well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly! Unfortunately it was on an entirely different price level than we were looking for. It was obviously a high end community, and had a price to match.

We really love spring hills singing woods. My first impression upon Entering the community was what a homey feeling. I knewy m would feel at home there too. The staff always have a smile and a warm hello each time we enter.my mom loves it there and is always busy doing some activity I am very satisfied with my decision for my mom to live at ding woods I know she is safe and we'll cared for

Nora Layton & Rick Rush have had our Mom at Spring Hills Lake Mary for the last 8 years and they have an outstanding place of care and improving the life of their loved ones. We would recommand Spring Hills Lake Mary to anyone. Their staff from the bottom up can't be beat. Great place.

This facility has done wonders with my mother in law. Over the year she has been a resident our family has seen a dramatic change in her health. The staff is loving and responsive; the facility clean; and there are activities geared to wards everyone's interest. We are so thankful to everyone there.

I cannot believe the peace of mind that I have knowing that all of the staff at Spring Hills are going above & beyond themselves in taking care for my wife. What a blessing!

place was beautiful-talked to everyone from residents ,staff and even the chef. but its really for more independent living seniors. she needs more care. loved it tho.

We’re very happy with this community. The staff has been great and very friendly to us. The community is always clean and homey. The cost is reasonable for what they offer. There are plenty of activities for residents.

After extensive searching my family has chooen Spring Hills. The staff has been a remarkable help and we are excited about buildiing a long term relationship centered around our mom.

Laura is, by far, the most dynamic and caring person I have met in quite a long time. If the rest of the staff at Spring Hills is half as wonderful as Laura, I know my mother will be in great hands. The facility is clean; the staff is friendly and polite and respectful of their clients; the rooms are a nice size; the plans for redecorating are 'spot on' to freshen the common areas. I feel confident that I have chosen wisely in securing a room for my mother to live knowing the special care she will receive in the Memory Care Unit. I especially like the use of color in the unit to aide in these special people's ability to function. I also really liked the freedom the residents have in this unit. Should one want to go outside to their enclosed patio and garden, the alarm sounds and a caregiver will come and stay with them outside...it's not locked. I like that. It still gives the residents a sense of autonomy in their shrinking world. The ratio of caregivers to residents is great, as is having a nurse in the unit 24 hours a day. There seems to be a great amount of research-based practices used to stimulate and care for these dementia residents. And, should my father decide to move to the Assisted Living in the future, he, too, will have a beautiful place to live. I just feel that, after a second visit, Spring Hills just seemed to wrap its arms around me, and I know this is the place I want my mother to flourish.

Even though my mother was only at Spring Hills for a short time, I had another facility to compare it to and it was A # 1. This is a time when you are looking for a place that goes the extra mile and the staff was that and then more. Every person in the facility from the Director Karen, to the Dining staff, the nursing staff, under Barbara, close caregivers like Wendy, and the activities people knew mother's name and her likes and dislikes. They even helped the other patients interact with all the patients. A nice factor which made all look neater was all had a color code of dress of their job at the facility so you knew who was who and basically what job they did. I only wish I had known about Spring Hills when mother first needed an assisted facility after she lived with me for 22 years, it would have made the last year instead of just the last 5 weeks of her life perfect. I am truely grateful to everyone there. They were even kind, caring and respectful with her passing.

Mom recently moved to Singing Woods from another community. This community is hands down way better than where she was before! She is now participating in activities and really enjoys the meals. We have been very impressed with the communication from the staff and management. They have made her feel so welcome. Mom's overall demeanor has definitely been a positive improvement. We wish we would have moved her here sooner. I would highly recommend Singing Woods.

We were impressed with Spring Hills from the moment we walked in the door. It is so light and beautiful with the feel of a home. As we took a tour, we could feel the love and respect the staff had for the residents. We are delighted with the transition my in-laws have made. It was a very hard move for my father-in-law, but the staff has done a wonderful job of making him feel comfortable and engaged! There are so many things for them to do. We love that they are in a safe and protected environment. We are sleeping better every night now knowing that they are at Spring Hills!

The leadership at Spring Hills Somerset is second to none. You can tell they have a sense of family and my Grandmother is extremely happy with our choice.

One thing they do a great job of here is making the residents feel like family, which in turn makes the families feel comfortable knowing their loved one is in a safe place where people really care for them. The quality of everything they provide here is excellent all the way around! From the hands on care provided by the staff to little things like the maintenance staff making sure burnt out lightbulbs are replaced quickly. It's a great place, and I would definitely recommend it!

This is our family's first experience with a nursing home, so it's hard to compare, but we have been very pleased so far! We really have nothing negative to say about them! This location was very nice for our family, but we were also very pleased on the tour. We were very comfortable with the facility itself, and we wouldn't have chose this place based on location alone. It's been a very pleasant experience!
