Spring Arbor Senior Living

I really liked the activities director, the activities, the physical therapy and staff. It is also a smaller facility so the client to staff ratio is good.

Its reputation, the initial walk-thru convinced me that the staff is was capable and caring. The facilities are so clean. The Activities Director is energetic and caring. I would highly recommend Dominion to others.

What we like the most about the community is the staff and residents, they are joyful. Great variety of activities! Yes, we would absolutely recommend Spring Arbor of Winchester t other families based on the experience so far.

I really haven't been to many retirement homes to compare but I thought it was bright and fresh, the art is beautiful. The people seemed peaceful and not agitated. Everyone who I came into contact with there ( staff) were all very nice.

All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Every time we visit my mom, the staff are always saying how much they love her and how nice she is. They call her by name and are very personable. The facility has a lot to offer with there outdoor spaces, scheduled activities, and occasional family/friend gatherings. My sisters and I are very pleased with the care my mom receives as well. The Canopy is a great place and I would highly recommend it.

My husband has passed but the Piper was a wonderful place to be for his final care the staff was amazing and they were so supportive and helpful. I was very grateful for all the people there from maintenance to the nurses and all staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a place for their loved ones.

What we like the most about the community is the cleanliness and staff is very helpful and attentive to needs. Yes, we would recommend Dominion of Frankfort to other families based on the experience so far.

These last few months have been full of ups and downs for my dad [name removed]. It gives me great pleasure to say that your patience and care my dad has been exceptional. You have had the perfect blend of showing someone dignity and grace while still complying with the rules and statutes of your industry. The last stages of someone’s life are sometimes hard but the work that you do is extremely important and I need to compliment you on you the way you do it. I’m sure it’s difficult to everyone’s needs especially when they are losing their independence slowly. However my dad never had an unkind word to say about any you or your staff. He may have been “grumpy” about his declining body but you all handled it with grace and dignity. It is my intention to be a an advocate for assisted living but especially Spring Arbor. I have everything exceptionally by positive to say and no complaints.

Facility is warm and welcoming. Staff is professional and knowledgeable.

Admin staff is always eager to help and answer questions for me. Most of the staff are always smiling when they enter my Mom's room. They are willing to do little extra things that might come up unexpectedly for my Mom.

All of the staff at Spring Arbor treat the residents as family. I would definitely recommend Spring Arbor to others and have already done so

The patient bathrooms are not maintained well enough. Toilet is often soiled, shower floor is not clean. I wish showers were more than twice a week. I've asked for an additional shower when she has noticeable body odor. Patients that are incontinent need more frequent complete showers. The staff is wonderful, and the activities staff do a phenomenal job!

I have had 3 family members at Spring Arbor of Steele Creek. The staff here now is wonderful. They keep me informed and are so helpful to me and to my family members living here. The facility has just been painted and looks very nice. I very much appreciate all that they do for my family.

From the first day they showed an attention to detail and a kind and caring attitude. My mom loves the staff and the other residence. She especially enjoys the church service and Hymn singing every week that Is offered. We are very happy with our decision to go to Spring Arbor of Apex

For years, I stressed about finding a suitable assisted living care facility that would treat my mother with the care and respect she needs and deserves after 86 years. [name removed] in admissions was professional but also caring and transparent. She made me feel that I was making the right decision for my aging mother. The staff at Spring Arbor of Steele Creek are friendly, caring and respectful. They even spend time with her and paint her fingernails! My mother enjoys living there and has been establishing friendships with everyone. I'm so happy for everyone at Spring Arbor and I feel confident knowing that my mother is well taken care of. Ignore any review prior to [date removed] as the place is under new ownership and management. I wouldn't put my mother anywhere else as I have total confidence in Spring Arbor!

Staff which included nurses, kitchen help & especially the activities director, [name removed], genuinely cared for my mom & the other residents. Many times the office staff would step up if need be as well, often going above their job requirements to help the residents. Obviously over time there were my favorites who quickly became like family to mom & myself. The food was plentiful but typically rather bland as one might expect with many on restricted diets. But the residents always had multiple options which were selected the prior day. If they didn't like the choices they could opt for a grill cheese sandwich or something of that sort. Residents typically ate at assigned seats which helped foster friendships. Having an in house beauty salon was nice too since mom got weaker in those last few months of her life & it became challenging to get her out. The facility was always very clean & only a few times really smelled bad. At those times it was clear the staff were doing all in their power to assist the resident, get them & the area cleaned up & refreshed. When mom broke a slat on her window blind the maintenance guy came quickly upon my request & replaced her blind. I honestly couldn't have been happier with Spring Arbor.

The staff is attentive and there are many different activities to attend.

The entire facility and staff have been wonderful with the whole process behind moving my mother into Spring Arbor of Steele Creek. Through every step of the process, I have been taken care of and nothing was left unexplained, all thanks to the accommodating and knowledgeable administrators. The care facility staff have been extremely kind and gentle to my mother. My mother has late stage dementia and the staff have been so caring of this to help her adjust and ease her mind. The community is great and all the people there are wonderful. I could not be any more happy with Spring Arbor of Steele Creek.

They have transportation for residents to use but it just for medical appointments. However, having transportation that is included in the cost in this area is hard to find so this is a huge perk. Overall, it is a clean facility that has been renovated recently with kind staff. It is very clean with kind staff that are responsive

We were not given a lot of time to find a place for my mother, due to circumstances beyond our control, and everyone at The Piper was very helpful and understanding during a stressful time. We didn’t meet one person who wasn’t cordial, kind, and concerned. They make you feel as if you have known them forever, are easy to talk to, and are truly concerned about the resident and the family as well! We chose this facility mainly due to location and cleanliness, but knowing what I know now, I know I made the right choice for my mom.
