The staff is fantastic and very attentive to the needs of the residents. They know the resident and their family by name. Very important as my Mother makes the transition from home to a safe, long term care facility

Overall my siblings & I are pleased with the transition of my parents into this supportive community after moving them from their long-established family home. They have made wonderful friends and enjoy the wide variety of engaging activities offered, especially the live entertainment performances on Wednesday afternoons. My parents, siblings & I have had positive interactions & experiences with the staff (at all levels) ... always professional, friendly, courteous, attentive and willing to assist. Areas for improvement: (1) Improve dinner options by providing meals with the nutritional value required for seniors dietary needs, gastrointestinal & dental challenges. (2) Reopening of the Bistro (one of the selling points during our tours)... a social place for residents to gather and obtain some nourishment during the day between meal service.

I thought that my whole world collapsed when my husband died and my Children placed me in Cedar Lake Assisted Living, Lake Zurich. Little did I know that I would feel more at home there than I did ANYWHERE else. The staff is friendly, caring, and the facility is 5 stars! The entire place is beautiful, the STAFF is so caring and willing to do anything to make you feel at home I was so despondent when my husband passed I though I would never laugh or smile again. Cedar Lake is not assisted Living it is HOME!

I had such a good feeling about Mountain Park. Since losing my dad I had been worried about my mom. They had been married 60 years and now she was spending most of her time alone in their big house and seemed sad and lonely. I toured multiple facilities in hopes that I could entice her to move somewhere she wouldn't be so alone. The bright, cheerful, vibrant "vibe" of Mountain Park is evident as soon as you walk through the door. The staff is friendly, helpful and genuine. The residents are active and curious and engaged. Mom has been living at Mountain Park for almost a year and she is as happy as I have seen her. She doesn't have a lot of time for me these days which is wonderful - she is constantly finding new and fun activities with her friends. It is such a relief for me to know that she is safe and happy. I would recommend Mountain Park without reservation. [name removed]

From the very beginning talking to [name removed] I was impressed by her concern to help me place my husband in their facility. She explained all about the care and all they can do to help. By the way I did visit that same day other places and they did not impress me at all. The care is very personal and great and so are all the care givers. I can get all my questions answered as I ask them! They all deserve 5 stars in my book. I am glad I made a choice with Cedar Lake. I can see all the improvements so far in my husband as they try very hard to get him better every day with their hard work and recommendations. All the best to everyone and Very Happy Holiday Season! Activities did a great job taking us to see amazing holiday lights on Monday. He took great care driving the bus. The neighborhood he chose was amazing and he served us hot cocoa. We appreciate them.

Palmilla was recommended to me by a practitioner friend who has worked in all the assisted living homes in the city. My dad moved in with me from out of state in a crisis situation and Palmilla quickly had a space ready and made the transition simple & efficient. 6 months after my dad came to live here it was time to place my mom in memory care. It was easy to choose Palmilla for her as I had been very happy with my father’s care. The staff is caring and attentive to my parents and more importantly, seem to really know them personally.

A few things that stood out for us as we toured facilities. This one was not so overly large that it would be overwhelming to my mom. It's very Homelike. The staff are all so nice. There's onsite doctors to use if you choose which really cuts down on having to get her to so many appointments. They have levels of care so we don't feel like we are paying for services that she doesn't need. She has blood pressure problems and they are so careful to monitor her. She had a few days where it was running higher and they added the number of times they checked it in the day and also weee in contact with the nurse practitioner. She is very comfortable there. She enjoys the social interaction she didn't have when living alone.

The staff at Rigden are incredible! They're kind, attentive, and truly care about the residents and their families. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming, supportive environment. If you’re looking for a community with a team that treats residents like family, this is the place! Highly recommend!

From our first contact with Park Meadows through the rental process and the actual move in, the staff was very responsive, friendly and kind. They answered all our questions and bent over backwards to accommodate a quick move in date. The studio apartment is bright, comfortable and well-designed to be accessible. Weekly housekeeping and laundry services are provided. Various levels of care are available depending on need. The facility is clean, neat, well-lit and attractively decorated. Outside there are nice sidewalks and green space, as well as a garden maintained by the residents. Activities such as a weekly movie night and musical performances are available. The only negative is that the service at meals is very slow. Overall, Park Meadows gets high marks Highly recommend.

My mom needed to go into assisted living on very short notice. I toured 6 places in 3 days and Park Meadows stood out against the others. The people are lovely, the food is tasty, and the facility is beautiful. My mom got a one bedroom apartment and it has been an adjustment to downsize from a larger place, but it has everything she needs. Bathrooms are large, closets are large, and there are lots of windows. The staff cleans her place once a week and does all her laundry. She does PT and OT onsite and uses the onsite doctor as her PCP. Great if your person has frequent medical needs but nothing that needs an ER. They also have great activities including live music every Friday for happy hour (at 4:30). I am very pleased with Park Meadows and feel better knowing my mom is well cared for.

Mom likes being there. The food gets repetitive, but not sure how to avoid that. It's gone up [fee removed] since we've been there. Overall, the staff is attentive, we have her doing some exercise extras to keep her (basically PT that we pay for rather than via insurance). It's clean and bright and there is a lot to do if you want to (my mom mostly doesn't - she likes her TV). Sometimes we don't get promptly notified of things, like mom started ordering her meals in because her knee was hurting and she couldn't walk to the cafe. Would have liked to get a notice for that perhaps on the second day and not later.

I personally feel very comfortable here. Everyone including staff and residents are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I am a vegetarian and have no problem finding a variety of foods I can eat. Many activities through the day and week. A card game or board game four nights a week which is open to anyone new who would like to join whether knowledgeable or unfamiliar with what is played. Been a resident for over a month and really can’t complain about anything.

This facility is truly beautiful. Every single person has been nothing but nice with a happy positive attitude. Of all the places we toured Green Oaks has a wonderful blend of active independent retirees making it lively for those that need assistance. We did not find this at any of the other places. The food in the restaurant is wonderful and there are so many activities and entertainment every day!

I visited many Senior Living Facilities before deciding on this community. During several visits here I noticed how friendly and more active it is than most of the other places I had been to. I have to commend you for your hiring practices as the staff here from maintenance to the director are all exceptional at their jobs. I feel safe here and love the beautiful decor of this facility, PSL has exceeded my expectations.

Having little time to Shop for a place for Dad we were very fortunate to get him into Palos Senior. It would be hard to imagine a better place. Caring and Attentive. Would best describe the Staff

Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living and Memory Care is a Great Choice! From the receptionist [name removed], to the Activities Director, [name removed]to the Techs/Resident Assistants [names removed] and more… they are all WONDERFUL and take great care of the residents. The Sales Manager, [name removed], was so attentive and on top of what we needed and making things happen in a timely way! We appreciate this group and recognize the difference between them and other facilities.

Overall, PHSL is a very good facility. It is a newer building (approximately 5 years old) and very clean. The majority of the staff including the front desk personnel, nurses, nursing assistants, housekeeping, and management are all good people doing a great job at the facility. I am at PHSL quite often visiting my mother; therefore, I have a good familiarity with the place. I have never had to worry about her care or safety. [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]do a great job with managing the facility. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed](along with the entire crew that work the front desk) do a great job with helping visitors and are always friendly and helpful. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], are great nurses, and the afternoon shift caretakers/nursing assistants in the assisted living are all great. I feel anyone looking to move a family member to PHSL will be happy with their choice.

Enclave Anthem operates a first class location for senior citizens. All of our needs are adequately taken care of to keep us living a full life. There are many great activities if you would like to participate. I’ve made many friends by doing so and have even enjoyed outings with them such as a lake cruise. Even our trips on the shuttle bus are fun. I recommend the Enclave at Anthem.
