My mom has been living at Palos Heights Senior Living for 3 years and truly loves the place. Even though she lives alone in her apartment, she is not living alone in this community. She has made wonderful friends of both other residents and staff. The food is terrific and she keeps busy with facility lead activities as well as her every other Sunday afternoon tea group. She is not only safe here but is having a great time.

Care can be expensive, but within range. There is no option for Medicaid, which is a problem. There are private pay expenses and it's important to look at those. The facility and grounds are very nice, clean and well kept. There is also a chef on site.

We would give high marks for each of those categories and we are pleased with how my mother is being treated. I believe we are able to give each category a 5 at this time. My mother seems pleased with her care also. She doesn't participate in many of the activities as she is 102 years of age and doesn't care about all of that. She enjoys the meals and has gained weight. Overall, Palos Verdes is doing well in their care of her.

Park Meadows has Independent Living; Assisted Living; and Memory Care facilities on the same campus. Memory Care is in a separate building. Grounds provide well maintained outdoor areas and a nice natural feel to the outdoor areas. Dining facilities are spacious and comfortable. Hallways are wide and the three story main buildings has three elevators. It includes a theater room, an activities room, a multi purpose room, a physical therapy room and a clinic. They offer group transportation and daily activities.

We explored many different senior living options when the decision was made to move my parents into a senior living community. We compared cost, environment, quality of care, safety, opportunity for enrichment, and community. It was so obvious which was the best choice. The staff at PLS, both nursing care as well as supportive staff have been wonderful.[name removed] both were so wonderful to work with as we transitioned them Into this new lifestyle. I knew we were in very good hands and that everything would work out. It did. Now they are adapting and thriving. It was a wonderful choice.

Palos Senior Living is the official new address for our mom. After calling and touring 7 places, Palos was the obvious front runner. {name removed] are fantastic ambassadors and they warmly took us through the process, from answering our opening questions, giving us a tour, and making sure to introduce mom to residents on move in day. Just in the first couple of days, our mom has enjoyed cocktail hour, meals, using the exercise room, and playing a group game.

There are nurses available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is also a great doctor available. I would and have recommended this facility to others looking. One of the people who I recommended it to actually moved in already.

My mom has been at Mountain Park little over 1 year and she loves it. She has made a lot of friends and speaks highly of the staff. Their meals are always on time and plenty of it. Everyday they have activities and transportation to other places. We looked at other retirement homes but chose Mountain Park with no regrets. Their staff is always there to answer any question or concerns we may have.

My mom has been a resident for 4 years and I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming and very helpful. This is a place where I feel that my mom is completely safe and I don’t have to worry. She loves the attention that the staff provides. The facility is by far the cleanest place I have experienced. They have achieved the task of making this feel like home and not a medical facility that you have taking care of your loved ones.

The Oaks is truly an exceptional senior community! The programs here are nothing short of amazing. The Activity Director does an excellent job creating engaging and fun activities. The staff is incredible; always kind, attentive, and compassionate. The Executive Director has gone above and beyond to ensure that my parent feels comfortable and cared for. The Business Office Manager is always so helpful with billing questions, making everything easy to understand, and the Maintenance Manager is a godsend, taking care of everything promptly and efficiently. The building itself is beautiful, with wonderful amenities, and it's located so close to the high school and library, which is a bonus. The residents have been incredibly welcoming, and my parent has already made so many new friends. One thing I’d love to see improved is having dedicated hours for the pub. When looking for a senior community, it’s easy to focus on price, but the staff and atmosphere at The Oaks make it priceless.

Enjoyed Park Meadows' great friendly caring staff, meals, activities, and facility with excellent physical and occupational therapy. The short and longer term options provide great value for the pricing.

Very nice place that has a lot of activities and recreation for the residence. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with all your needs and there are many options you can choose from for meals.

My husband and I were greeted and advised by a gorgeous lady by the name of [name removed] - she was the most understanding, compassionate and non-judgmental person we have dealt with. She guided us all through the making of a personal decision to live in a senior community. Great work [name removed] and staff.

This is by far, the best community in the area. The staff here are so caring and they smile and greet you as you pass them in the hallways. Somebody from management is always available to address any concerns that I might have about my parents. I believe my parents are receiving the best care available and I feel so much better knowing this when I’m not around as often as I’d like to be. My dad requires a lot more care than my mother does and moving them here has taken a lot of stress and pressure off of my mother, allowing her to thrive as she no longer has to worry about caring for my father as much. My dad is thriving too, and has been working with the therapy people to hopefully regain some of his independence back. The food is wonderful too and my parents try to never miss a meal in the dining room. They have made a lot of new friends since they moved here and have a regular group that they like to eat with. and I try to eat here on the weekends when I am in town with my folks.

I have lived here for almost two years. I love the atmosphere, the residents are happy, active, and friendly. The staff is always friendly and willing to help us. The activity staff is fun and provides an excellent variety to choose from.

We’re very happy so far. My mom has settled in well and all her needs are met. No big complaints and all small things have been or are being taken care of. The facility is clean fresh. Smells nice not antiseptic and covered up. Only concern is the food is average and they continue to ask the residents for feedback and are making improvements. They are very receptive to any questions and concerns that my mother has. Overall I am very happy and most importantly my mother is very happy with her move. She’s making friends joining in activities and feels comfortable here. They did have a management change right after she moved in which was concerning as we had worked closely with them prior to moving. We’ve not met all the new team but my mom has and she likes them. I understand this happens at these places and I am not worried as everything seems to be going well.

The staff are amazing and very compassionate. Can't say enough kind things about them. Food my father rated as a 4 but that may be personal preference. He used to very spicy food and this is definitely more bland. Obviously best to meet the needs of most elderly people. Cost for value would be ranked higher if he were only an independent living or needed less assistance. Once you start adding on additional medication or services, it does get to be quite expensive.

Sales staff were very helpful is showing the facilities to my brother and his family. Facility is very nice. People working there very helpful & kind. Overall a lovely place to live. Location is good and has plenty of thing in the area a person would need

From the moment you walk into Peakview you feel a warm welcome. You gain a sense of belonging, because the staff treat you like family. At Peakview there are many opportunities to get involve and make friends. I highly recommend this location in Centennial. My dad enjoyed living here very much. Thank you Peakview family.

Mom really likes her place. The staff is very friendly. It is a very well-maintained and clean facility. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.
