A lot of times the house keeping would not come in and help clean the room, the staff members were not friendly at all. One example there was one woman that was very controlling, she came into my room late at night while i was asleep and took my blanket off my bed saying i could not have an electric blanket, which i was never told about. She took it with her and i never saw it again. It was very expensive to live there. Sometimes they would forget to bring our loved one breakfast, or if they did bring food they would bring in hours before they would wake me up so it was cold.

We did not have a good experience at Cottonwood Village. My loved one was still pretty coherant and it was just not a conducive place, he needed more stimulation and more things to do to keep him occupied. A lot of times I saw people in wheelchairs just sitting there. He also was not clean all the time, I saw him quite a bit. The workers seemed to be in cliques and not caring for the residents. I tried to call here many times and it was extremely difficult to get someone to answer the phone, when I would be transferred it would never be answered. I would not recommend to others.

The food is not good and was not accommodating for my mother's diet. My mother used to walk around the building each night before bed and one time smelled gas and we reached out to the maintenance team, who didn't respond to the request. The fire department ended up finding their were some small leaks in the kitchen. After this happened, Carpenter's Creek evicted her.

The staff at The Wellington is very inexperienced. They are very difficult to find in the community. I have nothing good to say about this community. The care was terrible as well. The last meeting I had there was with several staff members and medical professionals. Towards the end of his stay, he was receiving governmental assistance and the state informed us that they were no longer working with The Wellington because of the number of complaints from families.

They really don't know anything about dementia. My husband was too active for them to handle. The residents there all seemed sedated with their heads hung down sitting in wheelchairs.. They told me not to come and visit him. But after two days I went to visit and they sent him to the hospital after I told them not to send him. The staff were not trained at all. Then they refused to accept him back to the community. I contacted the administrator by phone and email but she never got back to me. They also charged me for the community fee and three weeks three even though he was only there for two days total. The was a terrible experience for us.

My mother, [name removed] live in you facilities for 3 years. The week that she died, [name removed] allow my sister’s and brothers to cause her pain. My sister was giving my mom pain meds every 4 hours and she was supposed to have every hour. My sister wanted my mom to be in pain. They were upset because they thought she wasn’t going to leave them any money. I just loved her so I was trying to protect her and I was the only one they was there to protect her and [name removed] allow them to keep her in pain. [removed]. The kitchen is deplorable also the health department needs to come in a shut it down

The Harrison occupancy rate was relatively high for the past several years. Since Crestwood senior living closed it’s doors, and now those residents are coming to The Harrison. The Harrison has increased their rates 25% on 1BR. It makes you wander how concerned The Harrison really are for their residents to Jump rates overnight 25%, on residents. Some residents can barely afford private pay room rates as they are before the this increase. They aren’t a Medicaid facility so after they take all your money the resident has to find a Medicaid facility somewhere else.

This has been the worse experience!!! Their staff bully the elderly, screaming at them, very rude and inappropriate behavior! Never kind. Client are afraid of several of the staff. When I addressed the issues with Chrystal, I was dismissed with no resolution and incident was put back on the resident only trying to defend herself. Not acceptable! That’s abuse of the elderly. Several residents are overcharged and takes months to get resolved as well ! Horrible facility in my opinion. Don’t let your loved ones reside here.

I was a guest there many times. staff members in the office will not come out and help caregiving housekeeping or kitchen I have seen housekeeping moving beds and struggling and one member of the office did not come out and help them I see the kitchen manager only one working on ever weekends I heard they don't pay good I always see care members on their phone they seem like they don't have enough help and housekeeping ,kitchen or caregiving .I think there is no teamwork there management stays in are offices they don't care about the workers they don't help out and don't know how to do their job . The human resource is no help to anyone they tell you what you want to hear when you go in.

This is my first review I have ever written but I'm doing so to try an help other families looking at this facility. Let me start by saying my Grandfather lived here ten years ago. We as a family an my Grandfather could not say enough about his new home. The administration, nursing, activities, an maintenance was top notch. So when the time came to place another family member here I was hoping for the same results. First we were told after two years of private pay they would be eligible for Medicaid benefits. Not true. Two years later no room. They do have some exceptionally great nurses and med techs, but being understaffed an underpaid they do move on. These concerns were addressed to the administration but was always down played. The activity director needs a lot of help to bring this " tomb" feeling facility back to life. Repairs to the building are lacking from water seepage from the ceiling and the walls to strong orders in the hall ways. Was this experience good for our family member. No! It is time for this facility to put back into this assisted living and by starting with a new administrator who is honest, caring and has the residents care foremost.

If I could leave a negative review I would. This place told my grandmother that they would provide her with a safe and comfortable place to live. She had issues with her air conditioning unit for two months and they refused to move her to another room and made her stay in the room that was 81 degrees during the afternoon. They only offered to move her when the manager found out that she was looking to move to a different assisted living facility. I reported the issues at least three times and was told that they were working on it. This place does not care about it’s residents only the money that they pay!!! They also told her that she would have free internet and for six months gave her excuses and told her that they were getting a new contract. This was a bald faced lie and never happened. The administration always had excuses and never followed through with their promises. The food at the facility was bland and they had plenty of complaints from the residents. I also contacted the regional director [name removed] and he blew me off the same as the manager of the facility [name removed]. these people will tell you what they think you want to hear and continue to do what they can to get the residence money. There are plenty of vacancies at this facility and for good reason. Avoid this place like the plague!!!! The [removed] is a much better place!!

I am surprised at the many positive reviews. When we went there we were confronted by the following: the carpeting throughout the reception area and dining area was FILTHY, there is no other word for it, except maybe disgusting. I went to the rest room off the main area and it reminded me of a gas station on a secondary road. We were shown an apartment where a gentleman was living and I felt sorry for him, the place was not where I would be comfortable living. We were treated to a lunch and the person hosting made a point of being able to order whatever she wanted, extra entrees, desserts and whatever. Is this how they keep the residents placated? By feeding them extra surgery desserts? Is was frightening. We would never consider this facility.

Our Parent was not happy at all. WE ask Management if we could talk to the doctor and review our parents case before we moved in we were told yes and never talked to a doctor. We tried on several occasions to talk to management and they were always out. They even told us they were playing tennis during working hours. I was totally surprised at that. They were short staffed on many occasions. They were told to send our parent to a certain hospital and they refused over and over. I was not happy about them taking control of our family member.

Nothing more than a very expensive hotel with very few, if any, qualified to run it. My family member spent a year here and I would never recommend this place to anyone. The turnover rate of the workers here is very alarming and a sign of how poorly managed this place is. Plus the lack of qualified help was obvious from the start. The director recently left and I assume it was not on good terms as the place is now been run by the head nurse and marketing director. If you don't heed this warning be sure to visit during dining hours to see the shockingly poor food that is served. Or simply ask any resident as they all complain about it. I've heard residents say its worse than dog-food. Plus the serving sizes of the actual food are extremely small. It is slightly cheaper than the better assisted living facilities in the area but its truly not worth the small savings. Learn from my mistake. My loved one moved to another facility and it is no less than a 100% improvement.

Not recommended food is awful

Shame on you Rosemont memory care. I have 2 other reviews on what they did. But just moved my dad out of there, all of pajama bottoms smelled like urine because whomever put them in the drawers never put them in container to be washed. I have been trying to get that smell out of them for 2 days! I was told by 1 nurse there they dont like putting bottoms on people because they have to change them. Bs. That's why my mon is still trying to cling to life from stage 2 pressure sore! How dare you put dads pjs n drawer not being washed. Along with lieing about my mom. DO NOT PUT ANYONE IN ROSEMONT MEMORY CARE! THIS IS ONLY THE START FOR ME, IM NOT THRU WITH ROSEMONT YET!

If you are looking to apply for the Aid and Attendance Benefit through the VA, and live here. Run. Honestly, I'm very disappointed in how things have gone with the Jefferson. We chose the Jefferson for many reasons, one being the community and that she would be able to age in place here thus making that cost minimal over time, now having literally no other choice but to move not even a year after moving in means that was an exorbitent amount per month (she lived here from December to the end of March). We were told by [name removed] that we wouldn't have any issues with the VA getting approved for this specific location for Aid and Attendance because many have gotten it approved. However, when we met with the VA their response was polar opposite of this. That the facility did not meet the requirements and while she would get some funding, that none of the cost of the facility could qualify for being counted towards what she would get ultimately leaving her over $700 short a month for the facility. Added to the fact that this has caused immense amount of mental and emotional stress for both her and I and they are sending us a invoice for the total PLUS additional outstanding balances, which there should be none is frustrating.

My parent lived here for assisted living. The staff is in such turmoil that nothing is getting done, and frontline staff gets no support or direction from management. The top three management positions have each turned over 3-4 times in the last year. Corporate recently laid off staff - housekeeping is half what they used to be. They say they provide daily tidying and weekly deep cleaning, but never explain what that includes. In reality, we were lucky if the bed was made and trash taken out each day. They also brag about training their staff for dementia care. I overheard them giving a new employee orientation. "Here (thud). These papers have some good information in them. Sign this to say that you received them and are taking them home. You can read them if you want. Oh yeah, some of them talk about dementia care and stuff." Great training program, not to mention encouraging employees to work off the clock by telling them to read it at home. We were paying for two showers per week, but only getting one. Director of Nursing promised to follow up personally with my parent and staff, then send family an email to confirm the shower was given. That lasted for one week, then no communication. RUN the other direction - do not place your loved one here.

Do NOT allow family members to live here. My grandparents live here and had a problem with their ac. When they told this place , they claimed to have fixed it and when it still didn’t work told them they had already fixed it. When I tried to get them a fan, the lady named [name removed] said she had a fan at her desk so I went to get it from her and saw her sitting around chatting while my grandparents were suffering in the heat. This place is a joke.
