The friendships have been totally worth it. When hot breakfast during week was taken away. That was a huge loss. Poor food quality is big issue. 3 meals per day included in rent though losing meals is unacceptable. Staff is amazing. Though they are split between Plainfield and Brownsburg leaving no staff here many days of the week. Been an issue with transportation or lack thereof

My grandma is currently moved somewhere else due to a UTI that got so bad she had fallen and was in the hospital with a blood infection. I would not recommend The Wellington at Springfield to anybody.

I would absolutely not recommend anyone put a loved one in that facility.

My loved one is a resident at The Wellington at Springfield. I would say that the housekeeping that they advertise for each apartment never happens. She has been there for a year and has only had someone come in to clean three times. The food is okay, it takes an hour most days to even get served. The Cable is advertised as included at a basic level. The cable never works. It's broken more than it is on. It's satellite TV. If you need a repair in the apartment, it takes weeks even months to get it done. It took three and a half months for my loved one to get a new washer when hers broke.

1. Disappointing. 2. They Need to clean common carpet areas more frequently. We're not sure mom's floor gets vacuumed weekly. Food dropped on the floor by her chair doesn't get vacuumed until we request it. Have had to ask multiple times to spot clean/clean her carpet. Now the new owners will charge $50-$100 to spot clean. 3. Most people are friendly. Some appear that they don't even want to be there. 4. Below standard. Some workers are ignorant as to why they are there. Not enough staff. We've been told several times that's not my job. They say they'll get someone, and we still have to wait an excessive amount of time. Inappropriate conversations amongst workers about their job dissatisfaction. 5. Food is good. Best part of the community. 6. [name removed] the Activities Director does a great job trying to bring joy to people's lives. She is the heartbeat of the community. She's one of the few who looks like she enjoys her job. 6. Overpriced for services advertised but not given. We would not recommend Anthology. We've had too many issues over the past year. We plan to give our notice and move mom to [facility name removed]

Like their capabilities to handle her current situation requiring a machine assisted transitions and recommending a move to their memory care and hospice. Could improve ways for a resident to call for assistance in their memory care unit (hourly checks aren't always sufficient.)

I felt they were understaffed at night . The staff on the floor wasn't very informative when asked questions. They put the patients to bed right after dinner between 5-6

The experience at Remington wasn't great. She had roaches in her apartment, and staff was slow to resolve the issue. Many roaches. Maintenance was awful - very slow to fix issues. Months and months. Roaches, a loud ac banging outside of her room, broken bedroom window glass. I had to get involved multiple times for them to do something.

My loved one was previously a resident at Willow Grove of Maumelle and the experience overall was poor. I believe it is a better place if you are in Independent Living, but all of the same considerations are not provided for Memory Care residents.

1. I was told this was a memory care facility - it is not a certified memory care. 2. Only one person is trained in Alzheimer/dementia care. About 15 people, residents, few good workers carrying the load. 3. So no proper training/instruction for the workers, so no proper care as these residents need. 2. Rooms not always kept clean and things left on the floor or not put away. Dangerous for an Alzheimer patient. 5. Not enough staff on the floor for proper care especially on the weekends.

What looks like a wonderful environment for the visitor, quickly fails when it comes to the daily care of residents. There is insufficient staff. Always. While this is a common challenge, at the Woodlands, it is catastrophic. It has not been unusual in this year our family member has been a resident to receive a call that they have been left on the floor after a fall for over thirty minutes. And when attempting to reach out to family on the Grandpad to alert facility, they were chided to “understand that we have a lot of residents”. I have visited to find his room a mess, the bathroom floor covered in water. He has not been showered for ten days, despite my pleas and OF COURSE, the fees are rising. Please do not fall for the presentation.

The staff are very nice and friendly, however it seems they are understaffed. It takes over 20 mins for someone to respond when my mom uses the Emergency button in her apartment. She has waiting up to an hour for a response. Important information takes a day or sometimes doesn't ever get shared to residents (Covid/health outbreaks, dining room closures, new staff hires, etc) The food is a big concern, the meals do not seem very health conscious, for seniors; there are lot of gravy, sauces and fried food. The dishes with meat, chicken, fish tend to be overcooked and bland, same with vegetables they are either raw or overcooked and mushy. When meals are delivered to her apartment (when the dining room is closed or there is a Covid outbreak) it takes an unusually long time and is always cold. Her clothes have gone missing after sending down to be laundered. Half the time she gets back other residents clothes with her name & apt. # on the bag.

Look elsewhere. I picked this community because of the location, sales pitch was good, but not consistent with our experience so far.

Imagine going to a nice restaurant -marketed as the best in the city. You order a really nice steak for $300. After waiting for 30 min & no steak. You have to go find your waiter & ask. They apologize & say they are short staffed- it will be out soon. Eventually you get the steak-but it has a chunk cut out of it & is only 3/4 the steak u ordered. You ask the waiter about this. He says “yeah, the beef supply chains are messed up. We had to reduce portions to be able to serve all of our guests.” No apology. No reduced price. No simply serving less guests. You are expected to pay full price for a 3/4 steak. Then the guest one table over says “it’s not perfect, but it’s the best in town. The place down the street is only giving people 1/2 steaks”

We took a tour of The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was not great. Our tour was not great and the overall atmosphere of the facility seemed poor. We decided to continue on with our search.

Completely disappointing. We selected the Madeline and then there was a change of several folks in leadership. The new folks did not clearly communicate and were unresponsive at times.

My mother was a resident of Vintage Gardens (owned by Sonida Senior Living) in St. Joseph, Mo for 2 years. Care was satisfactory but not exceptional. An overcharge was made by Vintage on mothers account. Supposedly Vintage sent a refund request on [removed] to their corporate office who was to refund within or after 30 days. To date no refund has been received and corporate has not returned my phone calls nor replied to my emails. Apparently they never intend to refund the overcharge. Would not recommend this facility for a loved one.

It was the best place, we could afford .Typical nursing home environment. Dont bother asking anyone any questions, because you will never get an answer or call back.I would recommend Waterford because I've come to realize their all alike. Dont think anything will get better until more staff are hired and staff are payed better. Better management of dirty laundry would help alot with the smell.

My loved one was a resident at The Waterford at Baytown and our experience with this facility was poor. The cleanliness and staff were okay. The meals and dining were terrible. I would not recommend this facility to family and friends.

My office has a client who resides at Round Rock. She is vision impaired and does not use technology. I have experienced extreme difficulty in faxing and emailing her updated practitioner notes since 2021. There is a high rate of turnover and the client has expressed that staff are untrustworthy. I frequently hear that she is not given the notes and every few months my emails bounce back as undeliverable. Hopefully, they can get things settled and improve their issues, but I would keep this in mind if considering this location.
