The facility is beautiful (community areas, resident apartments, and landscaping). The food is good. The staff are fabulous. It is gated and provides a sense of security for the residents and their family members. The apartments (various sizes and prices) have patios and that provides a real feeling of home. The retirement center allows residents to pay to bring Home Health or Hospice Care in, giving the residents independence, but the care they require. There is a variety of activities that appeal to residents and this diminishes the feelings of loneliness. These activities are in the facility and some are in the community with facility transportation. This facility is pet friendly so the residents can bring their "extended family" along for a small price. Housekeeping is provided once a week with flat linen services. Residents can drop off their trash in a clean receptacle room on their way to the dining hall. Washers and dryers are abundant in clean laundry rooms. Walking down the hallways makes you think you are in a flower garden because they smell so nice. Vending machines are on each floor. A reliable elevator is available for those residents who live on the second floor or for those who are wanting to use the single designated activity rooms on that floor.

I would give them a 9 out of 10. If I had a gripe it would be with the nursing staff. They don't seem to communicate between the night shift and the day shift. Other than that, they're doing a great job! They have a tremendous amount of activities.

Pavilion was such a huge improvement over the rehab nursing facility mom was in before moving in. I know it's comparing apples and oranges... but it's the only data point I have. The facilities and staff are wonderful. I have yet to meet a caregiver who is anything less than polite, happy and engaged in caring for the residents. The team here has really gone above and beyond to help my mother settle in and be happy.

I was lovely. An absolutely excellent place. Unfortunately my mother was only there for 7 days before she was transported to the hospital where she passed away.

I viist my mom at least 3 days a week, my sister comes in on the weekends and we have absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness. Every person that I have dealt with, all of the front desk staff and even the individuals that come to the rooms have always checked if we needed anything, we even went with Dr. Higgins who is the local doctor and she comes around and visits the waterford and that has worked out wonderfully. She gets medical care as far as following up after her stroke and therapy to prevent her from regressing. I visited just about everything A Place for Mom sent us too, everything and everywhere, and in my opinion this was the best facility that we saw for what we were paying. We didn't know where the resources where but without A Place for Mom and veterans financial we wouldn't have known where to start and you don't know where to go.

I found them online and we were going around looking at a bunch of different places and I liked it because it was smaller and because of the price. Overall it was the best package. My loved one loves it and we're very happy with them. The staff are really nice, the answer all your questions, if you say "hey we need this done" they say not a problem and go do it. Overall we're very happy with them.

It is a very very nice community. Our loved one is happy here and if they are happy then we are happy. They offer a lot of activities. It is in an ideal location for our family. When we toured it we were impressed with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the community and what they had to offer. This was a good community right off the bat.

They are a very good community that we are happy with. The evening meal could be a little better but it's because they make the lunch meal the main meal of the day. The staff here bends over backwards to help and accommodate as much as they can. Overall we are pleased with them and what they are providing.

They're pretty good. I've never noticed any problems with the cleanliness when I've been over there. It is very expensive but the care is good. The only complaint that my mother has is some of the meals she doesn't find all that tasty, but that's her it's not the meals. They're good, probably as good as you could get. The activities seem to be good. When I try to reach her she's always out doing something. She's been there since early April and a lot of it is just adjusting and finding out what the expectations are.

It seems like they just had a change in food service provider because the residents have been complaining about the food. There is residents that have been here 3 years with no complains but are complaining about the food. There just doesn't seem to be the right variety and types of food the residents want or were used to. Other then the food everything else is just perfect. The community is very good. A Place for Mom recommended it and 4 other communities to look at but after the visit it just seemed like Waterford was the best overall fit for our loved one.

Overall it’s been a good experience for my mom. The staff is responsive to our requests and mom seems happy there.

It's a wonderful place in so many ways. The care team is made up of compassionate professionals, it's a clean and friendly environment, it's a well located facility, there is really good food, and an assortment of engaging activities to for the residents to participate in. Everyone has been so very supportive in the care of my loved one and I am so thankful that she is living in the uplifting environment of Heritage House at The Plains. I highly recommend it!

My mother-in-law has now been at The Addison for 2 months. Thus far, the experience has been much better than expected. From the initial visit, the move-in, to problem resolution to level of care transition, all has gone smoothly. We are very pleased.

Awesome place with great people. Had a really nice visit. Food looked good, everyone seemed friendly.

It is always a joy to have the residents come join in gospel singing. I am not a resident. I come every other Thursday to lead worship (gospel) sing to the residents that wish to participate. This is one of the prettiest facilities that I have visited. The staff has been welcoming and occassionally have stopped by for a moment to join in the singing if there is a song they particularly like. Coach [name removed] and I are honored to be able to share the gospel with the residents. Thank you for the privilege.

When I was first coming to tour they were very flexible in meeting with me, touring and explaining the process. There are 8 or 9 different activities on some days. It is a friendly, clean and happy place to live.

Our experience on [date removed] with [name removed] as our table waitress was a refreshing improvement. She did the basic task with heartfelt kindness, graciousness, efficiency, and accuracy despite the tablet not working. I complimented her and noted that she gave us the best service we have ever experienced at the Wellington. Please find more new hires like her, or train the old to emulate [name removed] level of care and performance.

There are some exceptional employees that work at the Addison and then there are some employees that don’t seem to have the heart for this kind of work. Working with the aging is a calling, otherwise it’s just a job and you can tell with some of the employees.

My mother (day stay) looks forwards to coming each week. She enjoys most of the staff and residents. Baxter, the dog, is a special perk as well as the outings.

The staff is so kind and caring. They truly get to know the residents as individuals. The staff is very communicative with families about their loved ones’ care. They do activities several times a year where families are invited in to participate. We love those opportunities.
