We are extremely pleased all the way around with this community. Mom is doing fairly well she is being treated wonderfully She is starting to socialize with the other residents. The staff is attentive and caring and compassionate. The community is well kept clean, bright and the temperature is perfect. She likes the food. But the best part is the location it is only about 5 minutes from my brother so that gives up peace knowing someone is close by in case of an emergency.

The community has a nice entry way. The inside is very clean but could use a little more light or maybe some lighter color paint or furnishings everything tends to be on the darker side. They have nice landscaping. The layout of the community is a little too spread out so there was a lot of walking to different areas. They seemed to offer quite a bit of different programs and activities.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my mother since she has made the move into this community . The staff have all been excellent to work with and I am very comfortable with the care she has been provided. I especially think the physical therapy they have is really good and she has made a lot of improvements. The only improvement she said could be made is the meals they provide.

Nice, clean facility in a nice neighborhood. A good place to put your loved one.

Our experience has changed and we have hospice helping with my mom. The staff at Greenbriar Village are doing everything they can to try to make my mom comfortable. We have had no problems with them.

I have no complaints of how things went for my mother while she was here for a short period of time. The staff where very kind to her and I was comfortable with the care she was provided. I like the patience all of the staff had with her and how encouraging they where for her to get involved in the activities they had throughout the day. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested.

The tour we took at The Wellington at North Richland Hills was very nice. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It is a very clean and beautiful environment but it was out of our price range.

The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They encourage mom to participate in some of the daily activities. The community is and the grounds are beautiful. Mom is not happy with the food. I would recommend this community.

My father is well in this community. I'am pleased with all they have done for our family.

I had a tour set up and the representative was professional and courteous. They showed me around and I saw a clean community. They had it set up differently and the apartment I saw had no kitchen. We needed one in the apartment and the reason we did not choose them.

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far everything is going well for her. The staff have been fantastic to work with and I am comfortable with the care they are providing. They are attentive to her needs and make sure she is satisfied in her new living environment. She has been making her way down to the dinning room to enjoy some of the meals with the other residents as well as participating in some of the activities. Overall we are happy and would recommend it to anyone.

We were ultimately pleasantly surprised but I sure did not expect to be after cooling our heels waiting for an hour in the large common areas of the Independent Living part of the complex. To begin with, this place is BIG! Over 250 residents. This also means they offer a LOT in terms of services, transport, clubs, events. There are 130 staff members!!!The Independent Living side of the facility is large but it is faded, doesn't appear to be as well maintained as it could be (cobwebs on a lamp, spider webs and bugs accumulating in windows, scuffed up furniture, furniture in library not rearranged after vacuuming). Decor is dark, gloomy, 1980s old ladyish. On the brighter side people genuinely 'hang out' together here and participate in a lot of activities together. As we walked along halls we found groups playing cards together, singing, playing piano. Staff were very supportive. The one bedroom we were shown in this wing was drab, looked into a partially covered parking area and we were told all of the Model A one bedrooms looked into parked cars. Model B was nicer with a small balcony, and a bay window in the bedroom; all Model B's looked into the courtyard. There are a lot of common areas. Transit appears to be easy to arrange and there is a big bus as well as a towncar. Most one bedroom units cannot accomodate a washer/dryer and your elderly relative will have to go up a flight to a communal laundrey area. Having them do it for you costs $6 a load. But in this place they don't even do your linens and towels for you. You pay for that if you want it done. The big surprise came when we walked into the Assisted Living wing, bright, beautiful, tranquil. Complete opposite to the dingy quarters in IL; the apartments feel much more spacious, bright, good storage, etc. AL suites do not have dishwashers but still have full stoves, etc. Again a choice of Model A or B; with Model B seeming larger even though it is smaller. This side has a nurse on staff and on site on every floor 24 hours a day. Medications administered, help with bathing and grooming, and staff make sure they are eating, home for the night, etc. AL residents have their own smaller but newer dining room with same menus, but they can go over to IL for all other activities, transport, clubs, etc. If living in AL they do the laundrey for you. We will have to find out what they mean by costs for an "individualized care plan" -- they appear to already cover everything. B Best yet, you can have pets in either wing as long as you look after them; they can also put you in touch with local student dogwalkers. Only negatives (assuming we put them into AL), you have to pay for cable TV and telephone; first place I have found where cable is additional. Cable is $40 a month, phone $20.

We loved this place it was nicely decorated and extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was wonderfully helpful and kind. However, we just felt that it was a little too large for dad gave a feeling of being disoriented. For my dad, there would just be too much walking for him. Another issue that had me concerned was their pricing structure there was a flat room fee but everything else was an add on price so what you thought would fit in your budget after everything else was added on could put you way out of your budget.

I was not impressed by the person that took us on tour. They were very nice, however they did not seem to acknowledge the residents we met in the hallway by name. The community had some nice rooms and the community seemed clean. This community did not seem to have the same family atmosphere as the community we chose.

My family is extremely pleased with West Shores. The staff is great and the residents are happy and well cared for. The facility is beautiful and we especially like the outdoor areas.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I was pleased with how things had went for her. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. The property was clean and they had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents. I would recommend it to anyone who was interested.

I recently had spoke to the staff at this community for a possible living arrangement for my mother. They where very kind and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. It was just not the right location in the end decision for my mother. It would have been to long of a distance to get to her in a timely manor. Overall great staff selection and I would recommend it.

My mother in law is doing wonderful at this community. The residents were welcoming and helpful. The staff did not seem very welcoming and have not been there to answer her questions. The community is clean and she loves the food. They offer a good variety of activities as well as trips out. This is a good community for independent living and I would recommend it.
