Sonida Senior Living

So far Greenbriar Village has been great. I have witnessed the staff give wholehearted love, patience and kindness toward me, toward my family in general, and toward my loved one who resides there. It's just an atmosphere of love. They're taking good care of my loved one, and she is happy there.

We had a good experience with The Jefferson. My mom did not care for the food at all though, whenever it was served it was always cold. They did not have many fitness activities provided for the residents. One of the biggest plus's was they had on site general assistance for any needs your loved ones may have which we are missing big time at our current facility. I would recommend them to others looking.

Our tour at The Amberleight was good. They had a continuum of care, from independent living through assisted living and memory care. We toured independent and assisted living, and I thought it was nice overall. We ended up opting for a smaller community that we felt would be a more calming environment for our loved one.

We had some issues in the beginning, but things are getting all worked out as time goes on. We went with The Waterford because my mom had friends who were here and also the value for the money is really good. The staff that we talked to from the beginning through today have all been very professional and they seem like they really do care. I would recommend to others looking.

My friend seems to be happy. It is a nice clean facility and the staff have been helpful. The only complaint I had was when we were moving, we could not get everything moved in one day. The flatbeds were not available and no one seemed to know where they were so it made things more difficult. I have eaten here once and everything was good I would recommend to others looking.

The activities director in both the memory care and assisted living side are outstanding. The staff are always extremely friendly and kind. The facility itself always smells fresh and clean. The location is also very convenient to my home which works out well for me. The room sizes are very spacious. I would recommend to other families.

I really liked this community. It was really open and modern. My loved one did not care for the tour guide much and decided to go with another community. He just did not get the right feeling that he was looking for

I really like this community, especially because my mom likes it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Based off of conversations with my loved one, the food could have more variety as she does complain about it at times; but it is important to note that she is a picky eater. I would recommend The Waterford to others. I feel comfortable knowing my mom is receiving care at this community.

You could only visit your loved one by appointment, and this was a the downfall for us at the time. Otherwise, I felt this would have been a better place for my loved one.

A cozy environment that takes good care of my mother. Rooms are large. Always clean. Food is basic home cooked meals. Lots of good casseroles.

We really liked Whispering Pines, it has a very homey feeling to and once our loved one became comfortable she loved it there. We did have a little hiccup with the care, we were told they would be able to handle our loved ones care but in return that was not the case. However the staff members are just incredible friendly and really did treat all the residents as if they were family.

They did a good job. My dad enjoyed the music and activities. He liked the food and even gained some weight. I wasn't always happy with housekeeping in his room. That was the one thing I thought they kind of failed at. But other than that, they were really great to work with.

We thought The Amberleigh was very nice. It had a friendly atmosphere. The people and surroundings seemed very friendly and welcoming.

The food in memory care is not very good. The food didn't look appetizing and they served it with Kool-Aid. The staff is nice and great to work with. They are pretty responsive to any questions or concerns I may have had.

This was a good community and an older one. It was further than family, and that was the downfall.

I am very happy with the overall experience of living here.

We have been happy with the community. The staff have always been good and taken care of our loved one. We would recommend the community to others. My loved one seems to be enjoying the food provided by the community.

This is a small quaint place to live with great services. The staff are professional and I have had no problems with them at all. The location is close to my house and it works for us all.

This was a decent tour however, there was just another community that was closer and the best price for us that overshadowed this community.

They do not offer the physical therapy on site, but it is always an option to hire home health to come in and do it. She is not a fan of the food, they seem to have a lot of soups and salads and she is always hungry. The staff have all been really friendly. The facility is inexpensive, so if you are on a budget it could work out for you.
