Nice balcony but no laundry, kitchen, tub and too small. Not interested.

While on my tour I was shown a one bedroom apartment and that’s what I was wanting but unfortunately, I had to wait because they had no rooms available. When one became available and I moved in, it was at the complete end of a long hallway and it wasn’t even the same model I had looked at. I am in an electric wheelchair and I cannot get out of my apartment. It’s a big frustration because I have to pull my emergency cords to get someone to let me out and they are short staffed as it. I feel so isolated and I cannot get out of my room when I want to.

One bathroom and no kitchen.

I toured this community when looking for a place for my Mom. It was kind of isolated looking but they had a lot of views available. However, the price they quoted us was a bit too out of our budget. The largest studio they had available made me feel claustrophobic and that was without furniture being in there. The PR person that I spoke with was able to answer my questions and seemed knowledgeable. The facility itself definitely had the feel of a top-level assisted living community. Ultimately, we chose a different community that fit our needs a bit better.

I toured Rose Arbor while looking for living options for my Brother-in-law. I felt that the community was alright, but it is an old facility, and seemed outdated to me. I also didn’t like that the memory care unit was tiny and the outside space were small, so I chose to look at other communities.

Not really sure, but it looks like all have a kitchenette??

Facility was clean and residents well cared for. Not a good fit for my uncle who will only require minimal assistance while current residents seemed to require a much higher level of care. There were no activities that my uncle was interested in.

When we arrived there was no one manning front door and reception area which is left unlocked. Memory Care wing is kept locked we found when Director gave us a tour. Front door and reception area was still unmanned after the tour. After touring several places I think Whitley Place is overpriced considering how old the place looks. We also thought Memory Care area was too small.

Independent living----Staff is friendly and generally considerate. Food is OK but food service leaves room for improvement. Television is terrible, most stations have lines and roll like TV's of the 50's. Basic system is digital Direct TV with old analog cabling system. Maintenance seems to be overwhelmed judging from the amount of time it takes to perform simple tasks.

I toured this community a while back and it seemed okay. The staff is very diverse but very pleasant and nice. One of the major features that they offered was they held mass there which is a big thing for my mom she is a devoted Catholic and needs to attend her services. The salespeople were helpful and provided me with pricing information and invited me and mom back to have a meal here to see what she might think about moving here.

We toured a few different communities. This one was nice. The community was very clean and well maintained. The staff seemed friendly and was helpful on the tour. It is located in a central location very near to stores.

This community is leaving me with some major concerns and now I am questioning whether or not I made the right choice. One of the reasons why we chose this place is because of the director of nursing who they have since let go. I am not a fan of the attitude that I receive when I call to check and see if my mother has received a shower I am getting conflicting information from a couple of different people. There is a lack of communication especially when it came to the storm they were very slow in getting us information whether they were evacuated to another location. They have hired a new site director who I have met and she seems nice and professional. The community is clean and well maintained and from what I'm told the food is okay. I was happy to know it is a continuous care property and if mom needed more help I wouldn't have to move her.

Mom knew as soon as she walked into this community that she wasn't going to like it here. There was a hospital sterile odor in the air and that just turned mom completely off. The community was very nice it has just gone through a remodel so everything was new and clean.

This is an older community and they have made some renovations to it. The people I met were nice and knowledgable. The community did look clean. We did not think this community was the right fit for my loved one.

My mom is enjoying everything here except the food she says it is not good. She has settled in well and doing fine. She is going to the activities and social hours they offer. We have found it to the clean and nice community. The staff is friendly and kind very helpful.

It is extremely sad when your loved ones personal things keep disappearing and no one can explain why. I have had to replace 3 pillows that disappear off my husband wheelchair and the staff can't give me a straight answer as to where they go. I have had to track down my husband hearing aides because they too disappeared. I feel that right now that they are extremely under staffed which tends to bring not so pleasant attitudes. They could offer more activities instead of putting the residents in the dining hall area and letting them sleep in the wheelchairs. The food seems good however the portions are much too large. The facility itself is clean and doesn't have an odor to it like most places. it's smaller and more personable or that is the way it should be.

I've been looking for a community for my mom since last October and I was speaking with the sales director, [Removed], for about a year. We toured the community a few times with mom and we even tried the food, which was fantastic. My mom was not ready to commit to moving in but [Removed] was very patient and always thought about us. She even brought over a meal to my mom's house. She was very kind and sweet. Recently, mom had some minor set backs and is ready for the move. However, when I call the Wellington to check their availability, they told me that [Removed] is no longer there and I was treated and spoken to very rudely. We are considering are second option instead.

I had a tour set up and when I went to the community I saw that they were too dark and I had a feeling that it wasn't a fit. The darkness stood out to me. It was a good tour and they gave me good information about the community.

My mother has recently moved into this community and so far things are going well for her. The staff are always very polite and accommodate her needs at the best of there ability. They a have a lovely activity program that she likes to participate from time to time with the other residents to keep her busy. The only thing that she says could use some improvement is the meals they serve. She is not happy about them at all and hopes to see some change in the kitchen soon.

rent was 2500-2700 but care was about a grand on top of that did not take medicare
