Sonida Senior Living

This is a good place, the atmosphere is good for my friend, he is independent and is able to come and go as he pleases. Staff and residents are very nice. They give two meals a day to the residents, their is a set schedule but they can also pick and choose from the menu if you don't like what is being served at the time.

It took my mother a while to get through the whole transition period, but she is very happy with the people, the friendliness, and the activities they have provided. It has been a blessing and we would definitely recommend Rose Arbor & Wildflower Lodge.

I toured this community and it was nice. Not quite what we wanted for her personally, but nice place.

Rosemont is a good facility but there were things that I was told would be available like in house physicians and pharmacy that we couldn't use because they did not take our insurance. The community is clean but a lot of areas need renovating. The staff are very friendly but there is a high turnover. There are a lot of activities offered but my loved one does not participate in them so we are not to see about them. We think it is pricy for the care.

Ultimately, we chose this place because of everything they have to offer. Our loved one came from complete Independent Living in an apartment complex and needed more assistance available for basic things. Here they offer that kind of assistance, if you choose to use them. For example: laundry service, prepared meals, housekeeping, wearable help monitor, etc. My loved one doesn't utilize as many things as she could and that's her choice, but I still think this place is the best fit for her. She chooses to do her own laundry, but gets frustrated at availability because a lot of times it's being used. To me, that's understandable and could be as simple as her letting them do it for her. But she wants to do her own, so I told her that's going to be a little more challenging. I suggested she do hers on the weekends or at a less busy time. Part of the problem is that she's just negative and choosing to maybe make things harder. One thing she is disappointed about is that they don't offer religious service/worship. We were told that they do, and have found out that they used to, but they don't now and that's important to her. They do have weekly Bible study, which I'm trying to encourage her to give a try. They also don't have a variety of activities. Basically cards and Bingo, sometimes music. The music is the only thing that interests her. I've spoken with the staff about trying to encourage her to participate and they really are trying. But again, it's up to her to accept and decide to do. I understand they can't force her, but appreciate that they are genuinely trying to encourage her. Housekeeping is weekly and it's been adequate. I'm not sure how much deep cleaning they actually do. The food is just ok as far as quality. They have a good variety. We were told that the food is fantastic, but I'd say at this point it's just average. The staff is friendly, but stretched. I see them helping in different areas, housekeeping staff helping in dining, etc. They're short staffed, but trying their best. Overall, I would recommend them to family and friends.

There have been some staffing changes that have kind of made my loved one feel uneasy with these challenges. The care staff team has been amazing, my loved one is very well cared for by the team and they go the extra miles when needed. There has been a recent change over in the kitchen and they are working on getting things back to where there were. There are lots of activities available for the residents to participate in if they choose to.

It was very nice, and the people seemed nice. I really liked it. The cost of care wasn't all one price. The tour was very good.

Cleanliness - They clean apartments weekly but do not scrub bath floors grout, etc (very "light cleaning") Meals/Dining - Food is pretty good. Portions sometimes too small. Issue: limited accommodations for dietary restrictions. Dining may be a bit short staffed... Several times in recent months had no coffee available for residents Activities - Unknown... Overheard someone say grocery trips don't always allow enough time to get necessities. Shuttle isn't always available for appointments so scheduling early is recommended Value for cost - Overpriced for apartment size but overall a nice complex. Meals are a perk. Additional storage is needed, and closet doors that allow better access

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour but overall we just did not like it for our loved one it was not going to be the place for them

This facility is good and always clean. I visit at least once a week. Housekeeping of the rooms is top notch, they do a great job of keeping mom's room clean. The food is good, good quality and variety. Communication with the family is ok so far, we haven't had any issues. My only concern is that maybe mom isn't getting as much attention as she needs. Her room is in the very back, so I'm not sure if that's part of the problem. I'm going to discuss it with them. They do a good job of responding to her when she uses her call/help button. I would recommend them to family and friends.

I would recommend The Wellington at Dayton to others. I would like to know where the residents go when the time comes that they run out of money.

The Waterford community is very well maintained and some of the staff they do have there are very good - however they are short staffed and are having to bring in an outside agency. There has been times on the memory care side throughout the night there is no staff there. Also the house keeping and the laundry service lacks at times. They are doing the best we can, we just know staffing is an issue everywhere

The residents here do eat really well, the food is good and they have great activities - our loved one is constantly kept busy. For the price we are paying each month we do think they should offer more when it comes to the care services - something like bed pads that we have to purchase on our own. That starts to add up on top of what we are already paying. Even though they are short staffed at time like everyone else they do not let it bring them down, they work very hard to accommodate our families needs

We had a good tour at Rosemont, and the people there were nice. The building wasn’t quite as up-to-date, and they were having some issues with the air conditioning. But otherwise I didn't see anything that indicated cause for concern.

I toured this community and overall, it was nice. It's clean and staff is friendly. It's kind of spread out like a campus, separate buildings. The outdoor area for residents is kind of confined to the middle of the buildings. Not quite what we were looking for personally, but still a nice place.
