The staff have been very caring but I wish my dad got more help with hygeine. He’s not always cooperative, but I think with more encouragement he would bathe, shave and brush teeth more. He also needs more activity. He gets bored. Also, regular communication between admin and families would be appreciated. Finally, thanks in advance for doing everything possible to pay and recognize care staff adequately to slow/prevent turnover and to keep the facility looking nice. Appreciate your efforts!

Our experience with this facility has been terrific. Having my mom in a smaller facility has been a very good thing. Having all the residents eat together in the dining room at meals in harmony is nice to see and experience. The residents seem to enjoy the activities provided as well. Highly recommend.

Hello my mother has been happy at the Wellington. She often says the girls working at the front desk are nice and helpful. I like that my mom has a safe place to be. I love that she could bring her dog there and have direct outdoor access. I would like to add that I think it would be a nice addition to have a "nice" outdoor area to sit. The gazebo is not at all nice. I also see residents sitting on the benches by the front door ( they get to look at parked cars). It's too bad that off the back of the building or over the carport area that there wasn't a furnished patio large enough so several people could get together. Has that ever been discussed? Also, the view out the back is not very nice with all the trash surrounding the dumpster. I can volunteer my time to discuss the outdoor if it would ever be an option. I've decorated senior centers and have a good eye for design. Also, in the new year, If you're interested in adding yoga to activities I would volunteer to hold a class once a week , when I can

My parent has been a resident for 4 years. There have been many turnovers in the executive staff which has been frustrating. The current nursing staff is very good and the care has gotten better. The nursing staff is very responsive to my calls and questions and proactive in calling me with updates on my parent.

Beautiful facility! Staff is top notch too. My mom is building real relationships with people, but her first months were hard as the seniors were a hard nut to crack socially. New residents need to be proactive in meeting people and recognize there will naturally be what feel like clicks :) but keep at it...you will eventually find your people!

Friendliness of staff. Good cleaning crew. They could serve more healthy food. Sometimes food is good. other times cold and bad. Also improve on serving everyone at the table at the same time. One person has to wait 45 minutes when we order at once. Salad bar has been not consistent. Brown lettuce. They run out of things a lot on. 2nd lunch.

From the first day I came to visit and view the Waterford, I have been very pleased with what I have observed, and the friendliness of the staff and occupants. I don't think a more welcome atmosphere exists in other facilities such as this. I would recommend it to anyone.
