Benton House has been wonderful. My mother started out in the assisted living and now she spends the majority of he day in the memory care. They tailored a program just for her needs. We are so happy and really can't say enough about how wonderful and caring the staff are including their " can do" attitude. We visited six communities, and Benton House rose to the top quite early. The staff we encountered, their policies, the building being all on one level, and the location if how we made our choice. The meal plan is great. It offers a lot of variety and they really cater to the resident's requests.

A good place to call home! Pleasant surroundings, helpful people. Good food (most of the time).

I am now in a room that I can afford. I like everything except for the food. I am a prediabetic I would like to see more dark food like sweet potato.

The definition of summit is the highest peak on a beautiful mountain. Even though it is not on a mountain, Summit Place is exactly that. We visited Summit Place the day they were having an outdoor BBQ. We had a ball and so did the residents and their relatives. The Staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable . They constantly walked and talked with their guest...making sure all were having a good time and feeling well. The facility is beautiful. Clean, tastefully decorated, and accommodating to the physical needs of their residents. There are many positive aspects of this beautiful community...too many to list. But we are so pleased with the tour and the fellowship of the residents and staff (and the competency of the staff )that Summit Place is top of our list … we want to be a part of this well organized, patient/resident centered community.

The staff are really great there and I know my grandfather is happy and being well taken care of. He has made some great relationships with other residents. He is a really social guy and he gets the opportunity to be social there. I think it is giving him the opportunity to enjoy so much of the time he has left in his life. When we first walked into the community, my grandfather immediately connected with the guy who gave us the tour. They are both retired from the air force. It's a really wonderful place and the value is wonderful in comparison to others. It's also a five star dining experience for all three meals each day.

My Mom lives here in an independent living apartment and is very happy there. The staff are top notch and I have had nothing but positive experiences with everyone at The Wellington. Highly recommend!

Great community for seniors. Staff goes above and beyond!

Not too big and not too small, just right! The staff is friendly to visitors and residents. Residents are able to express their concerns or preferences at a monthly resident council meeting or on an as needed basis and the management and staff follow up to make sure the residents are satisfied. The meals are great! The kitchen staff does a great job accommodating to preferences or particular diets/allergies. The house keepers do a fantastic job making sure the rooms and bathrooms are clean and are always tidying up wherever they can. There is a wheelchair accessible bus on site which allows everyone to be included on trips and activities. I also like that they have a hair salon and a beautician that comes into the facility to do color,cuts, perms etc! I really like this facility and the staff they have there

The place seemed perfect for my mom. Very friendly staff, clean place, very nice rooms, and many activities to engage in. Unfortunately they do not have a hoyer which my mom would need for small amount of time until she got back on her feet with the help of therapy.

Phenomenal! They treat Mom like she is their loving Mother. I have 100% peace with her there. Very greatful! Recommend anyone who knows they need another living arrangement for their loved one, Wellington is the best I have found for my Mom.

Dad loves his new "apartment." He loves having his own privacy because he doesn't need to share a room with anyone else. He has tremors in his hands which causes him difficulty eating some food. The wait staff in the dining room is right there to help him in any way that they can. He is always bragging about the good care they are giving him. He is also making new friends and is playing his harmonica each night for the ladies who reside there. We are so pleased with our decision to move him to WPV.

I highly recommend The Madeline of Decatur to take care of your loved one with dementia/Alzheimer’s. The Staff and all employees display patience and love when dealing with the needs of the residents in this clean and home-like environment. Also, the Staff and employees provide support for us caretakers because we need it also.
