Everyone was so incredibly friendly and the entire staff did everything they could to help me get my mom in and comfortable. They are like an extended family. Cost, services available and quality of life for my mom all played a part in my decision to go with American House. They showed a lot of interest in getting to know my mom and her needs and that level of care has continued since placing her with them.

Management and staff at Whispering Pines work together to provide the utmost in teamwork! They worked to place my aunt in a room with ideal location to her brother. She was surrounded by by persons who truly cared. She passed away with the BEST caregivers by her side. During her last days, they also asked about my welfare and helped by allowing me breaks to walk outdoors for short periods of time. From the kitchen to dining room, from the nurses' station to the apartment, from the cleaning staff to the aides, everyone was always courteous and caring.

Overall experience has been amazing so far. No major complaints in cleanliness. Staff is amazing. Mom loves the entire staff. Everyone has been so welcoming and accommodating. No complaints on quality of care. Mom just has to learn to speak up when she's having an issue. Dining accommodations are good. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Mom complains about quality & quantity but says it does the job. Again it's she won't speak up so. Activity director is wonderful. Always something going on and mom's enjoying it. Cost...Its expensive, covers a lot of care, but man it's hard to afford for the average family. Having to sacrifice a lot to keep mom there, but she's content so we'll try to make it work as long as we can.
