We chose The Wellington mainly due to the friendliness of the staff members. The room sizes are very nice and spacious. So far everything has been remarkable and the staff really help you in anyway they can. I would definitely recommend them.

Pleasant community to choose
I have lived in Whitley Assisted Living for 1 year now and enjoy the smaller community lifestyle. The staff and residents are friendly and helpful.. Wanda, the activities director, keeps everyone busy with interesting and fun activities. The facilities administrative staff has changed in the last 3 months and they all seem pleasant and competent.

Overall great
I had some concerns at the beginning, but with new management everything seems to be going well. My grandmother says that she loves it here. She loves to play cards and games and Wanda, the activities director went out of her way to get large scrabble tiles so that she can see and play her favorite game. They have entertainment with youth coming to play the violin and other music that my grandmother loves. Everyone is always very friendly when I’m visiting.

I would recommend it
The staff members, the upper management and other residents here are very friendly. the meals are okay, sometimes its a struggle due to the staffing but given the circumstances they are doing their best. There is always something going on during the day activity wise, and the activities director is fantastic. It really is a nice place.

A Wonderful Place
My mom is just extremely happy here. The people make all the difference. The staff are great. The location is really good as well. Her apartment is perfect. It's bigger than the last one she had, and it has a full kitchen. It's bright and sunny. And we appreciate that she has a washer and dryer in her apartment.

Daily observations for a year.
This facility is always clean and tidy. The staff seems to be well trained and conscientious care givers. As an outside contractor working inside the facility I have the unique perspective of someone they do not feel the need to impress. Daily exercise, activities, entertainment, worship services and off site excursions are just some of the things that Waterford offer to all residents. The Executive Director, [name removed], gives each resident her personal attention. She is uniquely qualified for this position because she has the ability to balance directorship of the facility with love and true compassion for it's residents.
