The Waterford has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It is a beautiful facility with all of the amenities that my mother-in-aw needed. But it is [name removed] and the caring staff that make The Waterford the lovely place that it is. You feel the family atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Peggy has gone over and above in her efforts to assist our family in this transition. We are so grateful that we found The Waterford and [name removed]!

Our first impression of Independence Village was great. It's a very friendly and homey atmosphere, and we felt an immediate connection. The people who work there are very nice and very willing to assist the residents who are already there, and newcomers especially. They make you feel like you're part of their family immediately and make their residents feel very welcomed. They offer quite a bit of activities. The apartments are nice and adequately sized. They have kitchenette features, including a kitchen sink and stovetop. The bathroom is nice, and handicap accessible. Each unit is properly painted with new carpet if needed and very clean before you move in. They're focused on safety and have pendants for the residents to wear in case of emergency. They check on their residents three times a day at mealtimes. If you don't show up, they check to make sure you're okay. And they're always willing to help with maintenance issues and other things.

We really like the location of the The Waterford on Highland colony it is conveniently located for us. They also have a ton of different activities going on, there is bingo, movies, shopping trips, arts and crafts and much more.
