The staff at Autumn Glen have been so helpful for our two family members who have been residents. The nursing staff are on top of things, and everyone else has been warm and friendly to our family members and to us visitors every visit. They are very accommodating to all of our requests.

The Residence of Chardon is an amazing facility with staff that truly care. I never worry about whether my mother in law is taken care of and is safe. Their staff is always attentive to her needs and available for my calls and concerns. Wouldnt want her any other place.

I am looking at Memory Cares for my father in law. I know we will need to move him into a safer environment soon. [name removed] listened to our needs and was informative. I love the home like environment. Also, I was impressed with the interaction with the residents. I have placed my father in law on a waiting list for Cottage 6.

We selected the Waterford @ Mesquite when my Mother-In-Law wanted to move closer to us, and we couldn’t be happier with the accommodations and the caring staff there. There is a wide variety of activities, including crafts, exercise, games as well as musical and cooking presentations. If you are looking for senior independent living, schedule a tour and check out their floor plans.

My father was a resident there for a year and a half. The facility was perfect for him and the staff was attentive and caring. I believe they truly had his best interest and comfort in mind at all times. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My father has been at the Residence of Chardon for almost two years. He is happy there and I feel he is receiving very good care. I know he is safe there and eating three healthy meals a day. He also has the needed social interaction and participates in activities almost daily. I feel very relieved that he is in their care.

My husband & I came to The Waterford to live and really enjoyed it. However, we had to move due to my husbands needs. I moved in with family while we managed his needs. I soon realized I missed all my friends at The Waterford and decided to move back. It is a decision that I have never regreted. We have so much to do- cards, BINGO, outings and of course my favorite bridge that you will never be bored. I hope you enjoy living here as much as I do!

I tell anyone who might need a place they can trust to visit Riverbend. The staff are all marvelous. I haven't met one staff member who acts like they're just working a job. Most of them seem to be serving the residents with servant's hearts. They step up and do things they notice, even if it's not in their particular job description. ( I've seen this from multiple staff.) The staff is loyal, most of them have worked at Riverbend for many years. They all work hard, but they seem to have enough staff, another great indicator. If you're treating your staff well, you have less turnover and more loyalty. Housekeeping works hard. I see them vacuuming and dusting all the time. The hallways always smell fresh. Communication with the family is fabulous, too! They really go the extra mile to keep you in the loop! The move in process was smooth. They loan carts and hand trucks to you and open the closest entryway for better access. The activities are marvelous. The state ended funding for activities. I think it may have been a grant which ran out, but Riverbend didn't want to lose the Activities Director, so they hired her to stay!!! She's marvelous and has facility-wide fun days and seeks to get residents and families alike to participate. The activity schedule is jam-packed and she tries to include a variety. They celebrate with the community, too. Alzheimer's Awareness, Elvis Presley week, Veterans Day, often and meaningfully! The food is served restaurant style and is really good. Multiple residents stopped us to brag on the food when we first visited. They offer more than one option for each meal and have about 6 or 8 staple options available for each meal if you'd prefer. The kitchen and wait staff are caring and just marvelous. During meals, you might see a variety of other staff pitching in, mopping or clearing tables. No one person is above anything which needs attention. I would encourage everyone to go visit. The only negative might be that they could definitely use new carpet in the hallways. BUT--- if they're paying this fabulous staff more instead of replacing the carpet---it's money well spent. I just mention this to be fully transparent. When we saw the way the residents were genuinely being treated like family, we no longer noticed the carpet! I highly recommend Riverbend, you'll be able to relax and know someone trustworthy and loving is watching over your loved one!

Autumn Glen has been such a wonderful place for my sister, she absolutely loves the staff, residents and always has good things to say about the meals. She is offered several choices and that is something she didn't have before where she was. Good job, Autumn Glen!

We moved mom up to Greencastle from out of town. She had been at another Assisted Living and was not happy. When mom arrived she was greeted by the staff, everyone was so kind to her. She was especially happy to be offered multiple choices for meals opposed to the one option she had at the other community she was in. We can not say enough good things about the staff, the food and the care at Autumn Glen! We would recommend it to anyone looking for assisted living!

Very friendly atmosphere and professional staff and kind. always smells great and good activities Food is adequate. Need more outings for the residents but they do try and thats the most important thing.

My husband stayed at West Shores for 10 days while I was out of town. The care he received was exactly what we had hoped-for. He made friends that he ate with, went to exercise class, and even had a lift reclining chair in his apartment. When the need arises again, we will be back to West Shores.

Everything time I visit my love one I leave feeling good. The staff is so nice . I would always recommend to friends and family . One of my favorite things is the family nights. It’s always fun to get to see all the others family. There is always great food.

I would and have spoken highly of The Wellington at Dayton. The staff is so attentive to my dad. Everything is always clean and orderly. I visit often. The move in process was very easy. I feel the communications with the staff is great. They make you feel like family. They are always available for questions. The food is always balanced and healthy. The ladies that are patients seem happy. I am so happy that my Dad is there. I know all of his needs are met with kindness and compassion. I know he could not get better care anywhere else. They are so kind and catering to him. We are very satisfied.

It’s a beautiful, clean facility. The staff is very helpful and friendly and It’s close to my home. The meals look and smell wonderful. My aunts little apartment is exactly what she needs to feel a sense of independence. I’m so very grateful to “ a Place for Mom” for recommending the Waterford. I didn’t even realize that it was essentially in my back yard.

We have been very satisfied with everything at The Residence of Chardon. The facility is well maintained. The rooms are big and bright. The staff is caring and friendly. The activities are varied and interesting. We really like the library too. We are very happy with everything.

Tell those you love about this location if you are considering placement I highly recommend allowing your family to be a part of their family they will very much feel at home Food here is great- no worries about variety or repetition! My mom eats same breakfast every day for years and here she is given the same option ! I don’t have to worry but for those who like a variety they have that too! It’s just like being at home!

We worked in the industry so our expectations were high when moving our parents here. I have to say Autumn Glen has exceeded our expectations in all areas. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond. The food is always good and mom and dad never complain. They are able to come and go as they please and we are grateful for the peace of mind we have knowing they are safe and happy.

My family had never had any exposure or experience with assisted living facilities. We had, however, had temporary experience with nursing homes. We felt our mother did not belong in a nursing home, but she also couldn’t remain in her home. My sister-in law ( who has several elderly clients,) and one of my mother’s doctors recommended Autumn Glen. By the Grace of God, they had a space available and we were able to move my mother in. We never knew such a place existed! From the moment my mother arrived she’s been treated with respect, kindness, and compassion . My mother will happily tell anyone that she absolutely loves it there. For us, we are thrilled to see her thriving as she hasn’t done in years. We love the fact that they just don’t leave her in her room and forget about her. The staff work hard to help her with everything from mobility to just ensuring she has a wonderful quality of life. The staff also work hard daily to create a warm, caring atmosphere!

We were very skeptical about the doctor telling us it was time for Mom because of her Dementia. Once I even saw what the Residence of Chardon looked like on the website it felt like HOME! Meeting with [name removed] the Director the inside felt the same. The warm atmosphere and the sense of Community with all the Residents that all came to Moms room the day we moved her in and invited her to be a part of them was so heartwarming. After almost two years now Mom no longer asks to leave for awhile, she just wants to stay Home. [name removed] the event organizers is like having a Family Friend there keeping Mom busy with events to look forward to daily and the Kitchen staff is as warm and supportive as the aids and Nurses that watch over Mom while we can’t. We are so grateful and thankful for them ALL!!! Now they have painted and added new things that have made it even better. I HIGHLY recommend The Residence of Chardon for a place to call HOME.
