The residents greeted me with a smile before going into the beautiful building. A lot of activity among the residents, their pets and staff. The service in the dinning room is friendly and efficient. Seems like a happy, healthy environment to have our loved ones in.

I have lived and been here at this community as a resident for 1 year and can say that I'm very happy here and that the staff they are all a very friendly and kind staff here at the wellington at Southport

My mom moved into ROC almost a year ago and loves it! ROC is smaller than other assisted living places I toured, but don’t let the intimate setting steer you away. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a sincere smile and a welcome. Other residents approached me and said that they loved it there. The entire staff has taken the time to really get to know my mom. She is treated respectfully and trusts them in return. I am kept informed regarding medical issues, but of course every resident needs to have an advocate. My mom is an active member at ROC and participates in a variety of groups and activities. The activities director is very kind and creative. My mom has formed many positive relationships with staff and other residents. My only suggestion would be to offer more outings for residents. This setting has been perfect for my mom and exceeded my expectations.

I moved into The Waterford six weeks ago. This is like living in an upscale hotel but the pricing is very reasonable. You couldn’t find a warmer, more helpful group of individuals than the staff here. Great food and amenities. I’m on the lower end of the scale age-wise but the other residents are so welcoming. In short, this is a great place to live.

This is the first time I've ever lived in a senior facility.Since this is only my second month, I can only say that for the time being, I have no complaint seeing as I have nothing to compare this place to, I would give them a (5)five as of today.

I follow the Waterford on Facebook and enjoy watching all the fun activities that happen here! The residents always have fun and seem very happy! I can say the people who work there go above and beyond for the residents there! I have been to a get together there before with a family member and it was a very loving friendly feeling to be there! 5 stars ?? from me!

m mother has only been here about 2 months. The day my sister and I went to visit we knew this was the place (just like home). We have everyone that works here they are great. The food is the best - moms eating things she would have not before

I love living here. The activities are great but my favorite is bingo. The staff is amazing and kind. I’m looking forward to spending the holidays here with everyone. Life in general is good here at the waterford

I visit the facility every day and I can tell you it’s a wonderful place to live and visit. Very clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. Staff is knowledgeable about the process of living here. The meals are very delicious and they is a great variety of food to choose from.

I come to volunteer and I can say that I love the employee's, they are all friendly & I love how they treat the residents! The residents are amazing as well too they are friendly & welcoming, I like when they welcome new comers who decide to give this place a chance, the food is good & I love all the fun things they offer here for them to do from the activities department.

My sister in law came to Residence of Chardon after a stroke and now feels comfortable calling it home. The caregivers and other residents are very friendly and have helped her fit in. She enjoys the activities and being a part of a community.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The community feel is strong. A little hard to tell staff from resident they seem to merge into one family. Food was excellent and you had choices. Even a picky eater would be happy. Was definitely in running for my choice. The location was a little further from family than I had wanted.

My 90-year-old mom was living very independently in her own house but was not as able to keep things up. We worried about her safety, her meals and her solitude as we did not live close by. She is still pretty independent and does not need help with dressing or eating, so an independent-living situation seemed ideal. The Wellington impressed us with everyone's friendliness and the many activities. Food is good with lots of variety. Having help now and then with tv technology and furniture moving is great. She is still adjusting but we all feel this is a good place. She enjoys showing it off and having family over eat with her. And I am relieved and comfortable with her there.

We loved the Waterford as well, but it was just a little too quiet, and we knew my mom would enjoy the more lively atmosphere at another community.

Very clean, lovely facility, kind staff, good food. We picked this community because of the cleanliness, price, price, price. Hate to say that but we need to make his money last. Aesthics, close to our home. Nice staff, option to upgrade to on-site memory care if needed

My mother went to the Residence of Chardon back in April 2023. She wished she had been there earlier. She had chosen to live alone for a year after my dad passed. She now wishes she had moved here sooner. Pleasant people both staff and residents. Comfortable accomodations. Good access to medical care and much needed assistance. Good food, like homemade 3 times per day. Activities, library, beautiful grounds, etc. I can't say enough good things about it.

My husband and I moved in together, it will be 3 years ago in November. We were both happy here. And if one of us were to be left, we would be in a very good place. We take bus trips, and they have all been a pleasure. We have gone to the lake, the library, and Dollar General.

I am currently a resident at Summit Point and everything at this facility is just great! We are still learning the ins and outs of Assisted Living, but all has been better than expected for us at this facility! Summit Point is perfect for us. It's only a 7 minute drive away for our son. It's like a new family for us here. The staff is long term, but more staff would be good. The call time is sometimes too long. The staff knows my family. I would recommend Summit Point to others.

I moved my mom to The Wellington when she was no longer able to care for herself at home. It has been great for her. I feel so much relief that she has help when she needs it. Her meds are delivered to her and she has healthy meals to eat. There is entertainment available. There is a doctor who travels to The Wellington and that has been very convenient. Also [name removed], the hairdresser is available in the building when needed. She has been awesome. Thank you to everyone at The Wellington!

Everyone is friendly. Community is attractive and well kept. The apartments are larger than most of the apartments in the area, and the services provided in the independent living help residents stay independent longer. The courtyard and fun summer activities outside set this community apart.
