My parents have been residents of Canton Regency for a couple years; moved from another facility. The entire staff, other residents and their family members, have all become family to us and, during this time of COVID, we miss visiting with ALL the family. The facility is clean, well planned and inviting. There are activities within the community, and, pre-COVID, planned outings were available. I highly recommend Canton Regency.

My parents live in the Memory Care community. It's a blessing to know they are not only together in their apartment, but they are safe, well-cared for and engaged in meaningful daily activities. Especially during the Covid crisis, the staff is doing an exceptional job caring for Mom & Dad and keeping us informed. The Canton Regency has earned their much-deserved 5-star rating from me!

I loved this community! This community is a definite to take a look at. A great community, and I would highly recommend. By the time my loved one got to the community she was half here. The staff's responsiveness and caring for my loved one was excellent. The food was good for my loved one.

It was a caring environment. They seemed to be on top of things as much as possible. My dad started in Assisted Living and then was in Memory care. Communication was good. It was a caring staff. The room sizes and layout of the community were very good. I looked at quite a few places and Canton Regency seemed to be the best fit in the area.

It was a difficult decision to move our mom into memory care...Charter Senior Living Vernon Hills helped every step of the way. This is a kind and caring place. Fresh, airy and as close to a "family home" as you can get. The team - nurses, caregivers, activities personnel, and management are lovely. My mom's days are filled with thoughtful activities, care and joy. So thankful for Charter Senior Living Vernon Hills.

I am happy with Charter. I have been impressed with their professionalism and how they take care of the residents. They were ahead of the curve with Covid-19. The food is good. The layout and room sizes are exceptional for a memory care facility.

My mother has been a resident at the Canton Regency since 2013. Since she has lived in independent living, assisted living, and now memory care I feel that I have a pretty good overview of what life is like at the Regency. Because I live fairly close to the Regency I visited quite often- daily while in independent living and twice daily in assisted living. Unfortunately COVID-19 has prevented me from visiting with her recent move to memory care. You can see from the pictures that the recently renovated building is quite appealing. What I am most impressed with however - is the staff. I can honestly say that my mother is treated with the utmost respect. It seems that everyone knows her and what her needs are. I have seen the staff interact with her and they treat her like she is their grandma. I also observe how the staff interacts with other residents. They are so patient and caring with everyone. To me this is the most important reason why she remains at the Regency. Her happiness and and safety are my number one priorities. The administration is very easy to work with and available for any concerns. It is so comforting that you can go to any staff member for assistance and they are always available and willing to assist. During this difficult time due to COVID-19 they are helping in every way possible to lessen the impact of social isolation for our beloved senior family members.

We really loved the views. It is very peaceful. A little more in the country so we are not sure if Dad will like it as much. Its on our list to show him.

Regency is a beautiful retirement community. They are truly caring and responsive. I have noticed that the aides in the memory care units have to not only care for my aunt (change, shower,assist) but also make plates for every meal, do laundry, activities and clean the rooms. I have spoken to other family members who agree that with the amount we pay an activities person should be in the unit so that the aides have more time to focus on care. Also there is an unanimous question as to how is it hygienic for an aide to assist in changing a mess and switch to making plates? The food is good though repetitive there are instant mash potatos every meal my aunt hates them, we have always mashed our potatos. When we first arrived there were 2 dinner choices and a big alternative menu. More recently it is just one meal and no choice other than the alternative menu. Over all my aunt is happy here she loves the staff and though she can be confused at times she even acknowledges that the aides do entirely to much. There is one aide [name removed] she has been there for over 10 yrs she is an older lady but very sweet she is very personal she talks to my aunt about her chickens this may sound strange but my aunt loves it and her. Keep up the great work [name removed] we appreciate you very much. (SOME ONE GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE) I would highly reccomend Regency to anyone who asked.

My wife is in her 8th year as a resident. Over time there have been peaks and valleys, but the current staff has been great.

This community is wonderful. The nurses, caregivers, management - the whole staff is LOVE. My husband was in 2 other communities before Autumn Leaves. I only wished we had found this place first. It was a nightmare for my family and [name removed], who almost died from neglect at 1st place and lack of care at 2nd place. I will gladly speak to anyone about my husband's care.

I absolutely had fallen in love with this place as soon as I toured it. It had made me and my loved ones right at home. Everything is in the right place and I cannot thank everyone enough for the help of taking my grandma in at the most desperate time. The admission process was phenomenal. Thank you.
