Everyone at the Canton Regency has been so welcoming, they are friendly to family members and show great care for the residents. There are a variety of activities nearly every day, including many resident-run activities. My parents are more social and active than they have been in the last 20 years! They've made lots of friends and are very happy at the Canton Regency.

I found them to be very helpful in assisting my wife who is disabled and in late stage Alzheimer’s. The move went smoothly. They have stimulating activities for the residents that ate appropriate for people in her condition. I would recommend AW for anyone in need of memory care.

Aspen Woods has been amazing in the care of my dad. He is healthy, as active as he can be, clean, and looked after by the most attentive caregivers, nurses, directors, and staff. His room is clean and organized, his clothes and beddings are washed regularly. My only complaint is minor, he can be shaved more often and his nails trimmed more often but that is so minor. Overall, I am very appreciative of the care given to my dad. Thank you so much!!!

Aspen Woods was the answer when our family was going through our toughest time. My dad's dementia worsened to the point where it was not safe for him, nor us, at home. I had already arranged for a live-in caretaker and I am glad we did not go that route! Aspen Woods provides a schedule of activities and events... and the opportunity for him socialize! This is so important for people with dementia. Everyone that works there is so genuine and looks out for the well being of their residents... which transcends to the residents looking out for the well being of each other! Something truly special. From the initial meeting with the Executive Director, our family had an immediate connection with her and the overall program(s) offered at Aspen Woods. Her hands on approach from staff to residents shows her unequal commitment to the health, happiness, and safety of the residents and their families. The facility is extremely well maintained, clean, well organized; every single staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and approachable, regardless of the need. The Activities Director is at the heart and soul of the residence, and residents - her energy, her heart, her 1:1 interactions & understanding of every resident everything she does, every single day, makes our worlds a brighter place. The BHR is equally approachable, knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. she's even made personal visits/evaluations at the hospital. We cannot be happier with Aspen, the energy, the staff, facilities & volunteers, we would highly recommend Aspen to anyone researching memory care facilities!

[name removed] is being well cared for. She is in a safe and friendly environment where the staff seems to take a genuine interest in her. I feel very welcome as I visit her on a daily basis. She is always dressed nicely and is clean.

I love coming to visit my Grandma with my Aunt. They are also doing a variety of different things. The Office people are also involved with the residents and its just a joy to be a part of it, So glad my family is a part of the Aspenwoods Family crew.

[name removed] is remarkable-professional, knowlegeable and responsive. She is the most understandable of my husbands placement needs. She is a credit to this organization and the best in her role.

We were very satisfied with the place, and it was clean. Staff was wonderful. We picked this community, because of the activity we saw when we toured, the brightness of the rooms, watching the staff intermingle with patients. I have recommended it to people that I know.

We had a wonderful tour experience with Charter Senior Living Vernon Hills. There was not one negative thing about it. All of the staff were terrific! I would have been just as comfortable placing my loved one here.

My father was a resident at Shenandoah Senior Living and everything was great for us here! The facility was always clean. The views were fantastic. The food was nice and always appropriate for my dad's needs. The staff was always friendly to myself and to my mom when visiting. My dad also liked the staff. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

The facility is clean and has an apartment feeling which is nice. Most of the staff is very friendly, but not enough workers in my opinion. There were times they had agency staff, which I respect they need to use but they were not connected to the needs of memory care residents. The nurses were very compassionate and supportive with my mother's final days before she passed in December.

It's a very pleasant environment. Nice rooms that feel like a studio apartment. My Dad has adjusted very well. They offer activities, such as; Music, games, movies, books, bingo,live entertainment, church, day trips, and happy hour. I would recommend to other families.

The building could use a bit of a facelift and I think they're having staffing issues in the kitchen/ dining room. But prospective residents should not be deterred by these minor issues! Everything else far outweighs any drawbacks on these points. All the staff have been incredibly friendly and welcoming to my parents--and to the family when we visit. They seem to genuinely care about all of their residents and go out of the way to please them, immediately learning everyone's names and preferences. My parents are thrilled to be part of a lively community where there are always activities planned, and always friendly folks with whom to gather. My parents often say their only wish is that they had made this move years ago, instead of waiting until they are well into their 80s. They feel valued at the Canton Regency, where it seems like every day is a vacation at a resort.

Charter Senior Living Vernon Hills gets all 5 stars. I have referred many people to live there. It is a great place to live and they to me felt like family.

Mom loves it there. It's a nice, clean, safe place. The staff are very attentive. Dad just thinks he's in a prison, but they handle that very well. They just let him vent. Overall it's a great place, and I would recommend it to anyone.

They recently switched kitchen companies or something and dad says the food isn't quite as good. But he feels so much at home with the staff and his neighbors. We couldn't have picked a better place. Everyone is so friendly and wants to help however they can from the first day. And they remember your name! The space is nice so there's different areas in the place for gathering as a group/family or conversing with a few people. It's decorated tastefully and very welcoming. It's been a great experience. I'd recommend going through A Place for Mom and Patriot Angels for VA assistance. Canton Regency is a great place and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The Parc at Harbor View Senior Living is working out very well, it is a nice place and they take good care of him

The staff are very welcoming and patient. They provide quality care. My challenge is getting ahold of them. But when I leave a message, they do get back to me.

The value for the money is good. There is a lot of caregivers from the agency, and could use more training/wear name tags. Overly impressed with activities people, which are unbelievable. They have music, and my loved one loves music. They keep a good eye on my loved on. It's a nice, and clean place. Overall, I have had a good experience, and they have gotten to know my loved one.
