I liked this community, however my loved one did not feel as if this community was as vibrant as the one that we went with.

This community was our second choice. We loved this community it was just to far away from us and our family. We were really sad it wasn't closer. Very helpful and got to talk to the other residents. We also got to meet all of the workers in the community.

The staff members at Elmcroft seem to be a lot more hands on, and attentive then our loved ones previous community which we really appreciate. The activities have been great so far, the residents who are vaccinated have less restrictions and so far our loved one has not complained about the food. The value for cost is definitely worth it, it is pretty good.

We were able to have an in person tour, and at the time our loved one was starting to wonder due to her dementia so we checked out the memory care unit. There was a small hint of urine smell, it was not overpowering but just slightly, and we noticed the residents in the memory unit had much more advanced dementia so we did not think our loved one would be comfortable there. However, if we needed a place for our loved one we would still be comfortable having her stay at Elmcroft.

We chose Elmcroft of Pensacola because it is a smaller facility which is where she felt more comfortable. When I did the virtual tour I was hooked on it because of the friendliness of the staff members as well as the residents. Her apartment size has plenty of room for 1 person. They were amazing with helping us and have been very accommodating. I would highly recommend to others who are looking.

The biggest thing was they said if my loved one pushed the call button, they would get there in 3-5 minutes. It's been more like 15-30 minutes. So I kind of feel like they weren't honest on the front end about how much assistance he would get and oversold their services to get us in. But he loves it there. He likes the staff and the other residents. He's made some friends. He likes that he has a private room that offers him privacy when he feels like being by himself. The staff try to get him to participate, but he hasn't participated much in the activities. He has tried a few things. Sometimes I wish he would do more, but I know in the end that's up to him. Everything is always clean, including his room and his bathroom. They do his laundry twice a week. They come and make his bed every day so it's ready for him at bedtime, which is nice. The common areas are very nice. The hallways are vacuumed. I haven't seen any dust or noticed any smells. It's just very clean.

There are not many activities but the staff is very friendly. The food is not very tasty and I would like to see that improve. The community is kept neat and clean and overall it is a good value for the money. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Elmcroft at the time because it was a smaller community that seemed more homey. I am able to go inside the facility, so throughout all of this I have been able to see how it is. The food quality seems to be better and she really enjoys the meals. It is a nice place and I really love the people who work here. I would absolutely recommend to others who are looking.

Their staff was very nice. The facility - you know its an old folks home. It was clean. My loved one liked the food. I have to be honest, I did not like their doctor on staff. He's there part time, as he goes on a circuit between different facilities. I did not like the drugs he was trying to force on my loved one. Other than that, they really try to, even during Covid, make accessible visits with my loved one.

We chose Elmcroft of Pensacola because our loved one needed memory care and they had availability quickly when we needed it. The whole move in process went very smooth and they were accommodating which was very nice in such a hectic time. One complaint I have had is sometimes it is hard to get a hold of people. Overall, from what I have seen this is a good choice. It smells good, people are friendly, and it is a smaller community.

Elmcroft of Carrollwood is a nice place, it was better then most but they did have a lot of turnovers, however they were good towards our loved one. The food was very good, and offered a goof variety to choose from. Our loved one had a suite so it was nice, it would be a five out of five.

I rated this a 4 except for lack of organization for laundry and housekeeping when personnel changes. I now prefer to do my own laundry. T.V. headphones should be mandatory for all residents.

I think their carpeting could be kept cleaner, which I realize can be difficult to do with elderly people. It would be nice if the hallways and doors were cleaner; there seem to be a lot of scuff marks in certain places. The screens need to be replaced as well. The majority of the staff is very friendly. The director is very nice as well and the LPNs are good as well. Given the circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff seems to be stretched a bit thin, although they do try and seem to be holding up well. Before the lock down, the activities were great and my mom especially liked when they brought in outside entertainment and had a happy hour for the residents.

My family and I are pleased with the care you give our mother. She continues to be in good spirits through the situation at hand. Our prayers are with each if your staff, families and residents.

My mom moved into the Forsyth House over a decade ago. She feels safe and secure in the warm and caring environment. Mom has encountered many ups and downs but thankfully the staff of the Forsyth House have always been there with support and understanding. They have also been prompt in notifying me of any changes in mom's well being. During the 2020 pandemic, I am especially thankful for the gallant efforts of the Forsyth staff.

Recently moved my Mom here. Staff is very friendly and facilities are clean. Surprisingly she has transitioned well! It is affordable and she said the food is great. Highly recommended!

We were very fortunate to find Elmcroft. Previously we were at Regents Park. That was not so nice. Elmcroft's staff was very good to my Mema. We had her room set up like her bedroom at home. The food in the cafeteria was good too. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
