they are caring and kind and clean. only problem is the patient to caretaker ratio. yes we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

I found Sodalis and worked on the admissions process for my brother. As I live a long distance away, I have never seen the actual facility. Most of my experience has been with the admissions person who has also helped with concerns voiced by my brother. I would rate it an overall 4. They returned my phone calls in a timely manner and investigated my concerns.

Group activities are stimulating and fun. The appearance is positive. Employees are pleasant.

If their loved ones do not need immediate help/medical help and want to participate in the activities, they should enjoy their time here. I would encourage family visits as much as possible as a means to check on family and form relationships with the staff.

Staff are very helpful, facilities are beautiful, they lost a point for frequent management changes and sometimes repetitive menus. My mom loves it there. Her apartment over looks the farm next door.

Compared to a lot of places it was clean. It did not smell. They took care of her needs when needed.

Other than not having enough aids and the turn over great. There's no change in the food or food in general, When it comes to the food there's a long list. Don’t stay to the menu. Lack of vegetables. Better than other places we've been in. Willing to work with you. Employees are great. Lotta stress on him so they quit or our fire for one reason or another. It's hard to get to know.

Sodalis is clean and staff is pleasant. The meals are reasonably good and they accommodate as needed (somebody doesn’t eat fish they will make nice salad for them). They have lots of activities listed and planned, but they don’t always organize or conduct the activity. Family is there to support daily and relieves some of the workload from staff. Maintenance is superb. Housekeeping and laundry is done multiple times a week as needed. I am pleased to have family member there in good hands.

There have been a lot of staff changes, both administration and caregivers, since my sister moved in last year. I've always been pleased with the caregivers and how they treat all of the residents. And that is very important to me! Families should feel comfortable and welcomed when they walk in the door of a community. It's an extremely difficult decision, trusting strangers with their loved one. I'm there several times a week and always available by phone. I live less than 2 miles from Sodalis which factored into my decision when I was looking at communities.

This is a tough one. My 88 year old uncle stayed for 2 weeks respite stay. My husband & I checked out numerous places prior. Sodalis Clearwater seemed very nice. People, encouragement, food, room, etc. This was the first time my uncle could not stay home while my husband & I were away, so I knew it might be challenging for him. First two calls to him, things sounded ok. Third call, he said he was very unhappy. Most of the reasons he gave, didn't really happen. The only one I knew was real, because I called Sodalis about it was that a nurse went into his room at night & woke him up to check on him. I was never told they were going to do that & it was very stardling for him because of his military time. Once I found out about it and spoke to them, they stopped. I think it's probably a very good place, just tough for my uncle's first time and him getting adjusted. I did notice his trash cans were overflowing when I went to pick up his stuff on check out day. That was very disappointing.

Orientation of the facility and where the theater, salon, med room, patios, library, etc. for newly arriving residents could be GREATLY improved. None of this was done for my parent. At the time we visited the facility and again when we were signing the paperwork, we were told that a “buddy” or “ambassador” would be assigned to our parent. Nothing of the sort never happened. Communication with regards to shower days, housecleaning, laundry days should be provided to the family and residents on the first day they arrive. This needs to be addressed and improved. Responsibilities of the medical staff and what they are allowed or not allowed to do should be better communicated. When enrolling new residents it should be communicated to the family members that the new resident should have already established a relationship with a PCP. Otherwise, there could be a delay in getting the care your family member needs.

I've had a good experience since I've been here. I did not know what to expect when I moved in and but had an idea.

Staff deserve pay increases, this isn’t easy work, and all staff are hard workers who are also able to be as kind as they are helpful. There is also a very real sense of community among residents. Folks were very welcoming to my mom who was finding the transition confusing. Most rooms are private I believe and nicely appointed.

They show a 31 day calendar of all the events they are going to be doing and it's not true as they do nothing.

The staff are attentive and truly care for the residents. The facility is beautiful, with inviting common areas and engaging activities for everyone. It's clear they prioritize well-being and happiness. I highly recommend it!

I like the residents, the therapists and yes I would recommend this community to other families.

Keep in mind that my ratings are based on the times I have visited and not 24/7 observations. It's affordable. I'm convinced the care and cleanliness is better here than in a nursing home.

Very friendly. The new remodeling, is what stuck out over other places.
