My mother is very happy and doing well at Elmcroft of Cottonwood. There were a few challenges moving in, specifically regarding the room she was initially in (the layout relative to the hall, the person she was going to be sharing it with, and a couple other things) but everything got worked out in the end, and she is doing well now.

This feedback is based only on my tour and conversations I've had with others in the field. We really enjoyed the tour. Mary was very informative and really seems to care about the residents on a personal level. She asked me lots of questions about my dad and seemed really interested in hearing about his particular situation. The facility is clean, and I love the layout because it is in a U shape, not a circle. The residents seemed happy and active and the activities calendar is super amazing. Every staff person I met was very friendly and outgoing and it seems like a really great family atmosphere, with activities designed for families of residents to participate in. I would feel very comfortable having my dad live in this facility.

I do not particularly know about any improvements, but they are ten times more attentive than the last assisted living my mother was in.

We weren't there very long but the facility and staff were great from what we experienced.

My father is very happy at Elmcroft of Austin. The facility is a little older but is well maintained and spotless. The staff has been very helpful in transitioning my dad into his new home. The caregivers are kind, attentive and very knowledgeable. They have called me several times with their observations so I can address various medical and physical issues. It is so helpful having "extra eyes" on your loved one so you know that they are being taken care. The staff has gone above and beyond to help my dad get involved in activities he is passionate about. The front receptionists always have a warm, friendly smile to greet me when I come to visit. I rest a lot easier knowing my dad is getting 3 great meals a day, getting his medications on time and knowing he is meeting new friends.

My 94 year old mother and I have never been as happy with Elmcroft as we are right now. This is especially the time that it counts. Mother, who had been very happy and content, suddenly came down with a very serious physical condition. The staff took charge resulting first in her being sent to the hospital saving her life. When mother was released, the hospital/doctor sent her back to Elmcroft which I questioned since she needed so much care. At first I stayed with Mother day and night, but I was assured by the staff that they could take care of her. Take care of her they did even though her remaining prolapse rectum was scary and bloody. She was too weak to get to the bathroom on her own much less clean and doctor herself properly. When I quit staying, I had still failed to get mother on her feet. It was like she had given up. I give Elmcroft credit for turning everything positive. All of the staff should be complimented, but I especially appreciate the whole night staff, Mary, on the day staff, and Mildred who is in charge of medicine and medical care. Another thing that is complimentary is Elmcroft's having Valerie Cheatum, a nurse practioner, available. Valerie represents several doctors and the Elmcroft staff to make sure medical care is consistent.

We're very pleased by how things have gone at Elmcroft of Carrollwood. The people here are friendly and professional, and they've been very accommodating regarding any requests or suggestions we've had. Everything is going fine, and I would recommend them to anyone looking into care in the area.

Every time we've gone in we are welcomed like family. It doesn't matter what time of day you go, you see genuinely happy staff and residents. Mom has been there just over a month and feels completely at home. We no longer worry about her forgetting her meds because they make sure she takes them on time. We don't worry about her skipping meals because she just didn't feel like fixing anything because all of the meals are provided. I would recommend Elmcroft of Martinez to anyone who was looking for assisted living for their aging parent.

Our experience with Elmcroft of Windcrest has been a great one so far! The people here are very friendly, and they've been a huge help throughout the whole process. They're very accommodating, and if you need something done they're very straightforward about either getting it done or telling you why it isn't possible. They give a lot of one on one assistance to the residents, and I like how well they manage everyone so that nobody loses control or gets upset.

The tour was Great! The facility was exceptional and the staff seemed fantastic. I feel very comfortable that this facility will take terrific care of our parents and that they will have a comfortable living arrangement.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a very nice place, overall! The staff we met were friendly, and the facility itself was clean and well kept. They are worth a look, if you are looking into senior care options in the area!

Very nice facility. Recently updated. Beautiful inside and out. Great staff! They are caring, kind and professional. I have had 2 grandparents in this alf and they were great.

Everything at Elmcroft of Martinez has gone great so far, they have really been a big help! The staff are kind and caring, and very good at working with the residents. My loved one really did not want to go to a senior community, but the people here have bent over backwards to help him settle in and get comfortable, they really go out of their way!

The staff was very patient and kind while mom was staying there. The facility was kept clean and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good assisted living home.

Very happy to have my sister live in the Elmcroft community. I no longer have to worry about her medication or living alone. She has the assistance and support our family could not provide. Ms. Hlavinka and her staff take note of each persons abilities and their personal preferences. Their facility is very clean and well kept. Dining with them is a pleasure as the tables are properly set and meals are well prepared. The courtyard allows residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors and in a secure environment. My sister is free to come and go as she pleases and I am able to visit with her any time I choose. I remind her often of how blessed she is to live in the Elmcroft community. I would highly recommend their facility to anyone.

The whole team at Elmcroft of Wharton goes above and beyond when caring for the seniors in their care. They appear to work as a well oiled machine. The activities are fun for my loved one and have continued to grow the last 3 years. I feel welcome every time I visit and they really care about the needs of both the residents and their families.

Elmcroft at Briar Lane is an assisted living home. The company has designed its facility, services, and staff makeup to provide a varied levels of assistance and care to maximize a persons ability, function and safety. Before admission, each person is assessed to identify their needs and a plan of care is developed individually for them. I see families and residents respond with a high level of relief and they gain confidence that they and their loved one is getting just what they need. No more no less. I notice that residents feel secure that they are going to get the help they need when they need it or want it. Also, they express relief that they independence is not going to be taken away. When I go there to see patients, I see happy residents and families. I see happy staff eager to help the residents and families when the need arises. Interesting, fun, and varied activities are provided for the residents to participate in. Elmcroft does a good job!
