My father has been at Laurel Oaks for 5 years now. He's always been very happy there. As his primary caretaker I've had a much greater peace of mind about his well being since he's been at Laurel Oaks. The staff has overall been attentive and kind towards him. He's had his healths up and downs while there, but I know he's in good hands. Over the past year, [name removed] in particular has been on top of things and easy to communicate with. I know when I need things like transportation arranged or answers to questions about things going on with him, she'll get back to me as soon as possible and with positive answers. It's not an easy thing dealing with a parent with significant health issues, but a huge weight has been lifted ever since he moved to Laurel Oaks, and I'll always be deeply appreciative of that.

He was well taken care of during his respite stay. We liked it for its location and size. And the people, they seem to truly care. The spaces could use some updating but that's not a big issue for me, it's clean!

The cleanliness of the facility is what really stuck out to us initially. It's a good facility especially for the price.

The staff has obviously been trained and excels at dealing with the sometimes difficult behaviors of people with dementia. My husband has received food care at Sugar Creek.

The setting is great. You feel like you are in a regular neighborhood. Food is good.

Staff is friendly, listens and takes action. Communication is good. Budget overview could be better. Improvements coming etc. The move in was great. Food- my mom likes to complain about... but I think it's a great variety and plenty of options... she just likes donuts. We would recommend this facility to others.

The residents are very friendly and there is always something to do if you like to socialize. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and warm community.

I would highly recommend Silver Bluff. We had a lovely experience there.

We toured several places and our tour at the Gardens of Port st Lucie was by far the best. The community was clean, and cheerful, with nice bright apartments and lots of activity mom moved in 2 weeks ago from her home. She loved it there and loved her caregivers, food and live music. Peace of mind for us all.

When i first entered the door I discovered a sense of warmth and love from the staff and residents. They gave me assurance that I was home.

The staff is sweet and kind. Patients are encouraged to be out and about, interacting with others. Every time I went to visit they were playing group games like Jeopardy to keep their minds active. I sat with mom multiple times in the dining room, and the meals were great! When mom passed away, they sat with me and were especially sweet and kind.

Excellent service wonderul and friendly staff. [name removed] is excellent warm, knowledgeable and welcoming. She explained everything without trying to sell me. I was so comfortable and secure after our meeting.

We had a good experience with birchwood's senior living. Mom did enjoy the folks there and everybody was very kind and considerate to us. Mom passed away in April of 2023. She had a short stay at Birch Woods but a pleasant one.

I picked Creekside because it was like a home. Clean and people looked happy

Staff are friendly. I live in a villa and take care of the cleaning myself. Communication with family is fine. Move in was alright. I haven't had any meals, I cook for myself.

My mother had a stroke in July 2023, she couldn't go back home without a care giver. We decided it was best for her to go to an place that could care for her. We tried a few places, she was at one for 5 days, the next one 2 weeks. The care that was given to her was less than stellar. We had went to Morningside to visit and was impressed by the friendly staff, and the decor was welcoming as well. We all decided this was the place to take our mom. Our mom moved in middle of December 2023. Our mom hadn't been social for 12 to 13 years she mainly sat and watched TV. Morningside offered activities and has a dining hall, she started to engage in these. We were all so happy, then one day she told her sister that she could come see her that she was home. We knew we had made the right decision, it made us cry. We can not say enough good things about Morningside and the staff that works there. We have seen other facilities and by far Morningside is hands down one of the best.

Staff, food, activities are great! It packs in cleanliness in individual rooms. I picked it because it was the least expensive. I'm mostly happy with my choice.

Most liked the friendliness. We liked the proximity to family. My father was familiar with it from friends having stayed there and they had good experiences. Lastly, he needed assisted-living and we liked what they offered for that.

I fully didn't understand the implications of this place NOT being a Medicaid facility as I now have to move Mom out because of financial reasons. Had I fully understood, I would not have moved her in there. The place is great, but high cost. If you've got the financial means, it's top notch.
