Unfortunately, I had to put my mother in a memory care unit much faster than I thought I would. I went to Shawnee Estates and took a tour with [name removed]. I was very impressed with the beautiful way it looked and especially smelled. All of the staff were very friendly and interested in getting to know my mother. The place was clean, her room size was good. The staff was really sweet and they took great care of my mother. I told everyone how much I liked the place and would definitely recommend it.

We love this establishment. Independent living has so many amenities and offers many extra curricular activities. The staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming. The food is always good and things are extremely organized. My mother loves being able to have her small four legged companion with her. We would recommend this senior living facility.

The people have all been excellent...services excellent. Very happy with the facility.Food is excellent, many choices, very nice,friendly chef,works to please residents. Med staff is right on..housekeeping is doing a great job

Our mom is very happy there and that is worth all the peace offered! The nurses are great! We especially love [name removed]! Each staff member takes the time needed to answer our questions! We never feel rushed!

My Mom has been a resident at Five Star for 2.5 years now. The staff on her floor are devoted, professional, fun and loving and they take excellent care of my Mom. The recent renovation to the facility is beautiful and a place to be proud of. I can definitely recommend Five Star to you and your loved one without hesitation! Come visit and see for yourself!

Overall being at Shawnee is much better for them than being in their home with rotating caregivers who didn't have proper training. The staff seem very caring; unfortunately they do have turnover in their nurses and aides. Loved one wish the food was better. Items have been lost in laundry, although items marked with initials and room number.

Highly recommend. Another key advantage is the neighborhood and close proximity to shopping, many services and excellent medical care.

We had a great experience there. The staff are very nice. We found out that our family member didn't need the 24 hour care, and it was just too expensive for him to stay there anyway. The room sizes are fine. Repairs were needed and done. They could have had more amenities. I do feel that these memory care facilities are way too expensive. It's a shame because there are so many people who need them, but are priced out of being able to get the care they need.

My first impression was of how clean and beautiful it is. They treated my grandma with love and respect. The staff is caring and always there to help you with questions and concerns. I highly recommend Broadway Creek!

This place has been an excellent place for my grandmother. The staff has been excellent and the activities been critical in her ability to socialize. The other part that sticks out is the amount of restaurants and shopping located nearby.

The staff seem to genuinely care. They were quick to respond and very accommodating. Super friendly. It helps to leave a candy dish in your loved one's apartment for staff to enjoy. Being present regularly helps too.

I give Morningside a 5 for all of the categories. However, I can not give the administrative staff a 5. I had a bad experience with a few staff members who handled the financial records. I encountered dishonesty. After my brother passed, I was billed for the day he passed and the next couple of days before, I could remove his things. I never received a sympathy card or any form of condolences from Morningside. I had to pay a substantial amount to Morningside after being threatened to be taken to court by them.

Very efficient and caring - understanding and prompt attention to detail - I wish all facilities would be as efficient as this one. I’m in medical profession and know about the benefits of being in the right situation and facility and I also the level of care being given.

The staff have all been wonderful from first interaction onward. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents. We would definitely recommend this community to others. It's not the "fanciest" facility out there but it felt very home-like and we thought it was the best fit for my dad. He's been there 2 months now and we definitely feel like it was the best place for him

I give the Reserve at Greenbrier a 5. My mom loves her apartment, I think it so cute. The outside so peaceful and relaxing and theirs a lot of activities for the seniors. They have movies night and day, chair exercises. It's a gated community which I like for her thanks for helping me find a home for my mom. The office was and is helpful and nice. Plus she's near family.

The staff at the Horizon Club was and has been very welcoming and accommodating to my mom.

They are very nice and accommodating and we would recommend Morningside in the West End to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

I have learned that one can negotiate with extra perks such as 3 meals instead of 2 or having a permanent discount on the monthly payment. Are you a veteran always helps. Waiting for special offers at times of the year Some places have license where you can stay in your place for home health care Also if a family member needs to stay overnight some may not allow. And some may or may not allow pets.
