Rittenhouse is a nice facility. It is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is costly, but most likely not any more than other senior living centers. The primary complaint is the food. It is often too salty and very seldom warm enough. You generally have to send it back to be re-heated. The choices (of food) are minimal and the desserts are generally not fresh tasting. I would rate the food poor to fair.

They are very caring and try to get my mom to get out and socialize and the staff is absolutely wonderful.

This is one of the places we toured as we were looking for options. It was nice, and the staff was friendly. At 6,000$ a month they were much more expensive, than we could make happen. We settled on a much smaller place, that I think is a better fit anyway.

I really don't have any extraordinary things to say but overall it is a nice environment, that is well staffed and up to standards with regards to it's overall cleanliness. The staff was informative and well trained and there was plenty of activities for residents to get involved with as well.

Overall things have gone well with Wynwood of Northville. The facility itself is well kept, nice looking, and clean. My biggest concern is the quality of the care staff, which has been hit or miss so far.

My loved one came here after a fall for rehab. It was okay, but she fell when she was here. It was clean, and the staff was friendly. We didn't have any concerns exactly, she seemed to fall no matter where she was.

WE DECIDED ON ORCHARD PARK AFTER VISITING 3 OTHER HOMES ONE IN KYLE AND 2 IN AUSTIN. ORCHARD PARK WAS OUR CHOICE FOR MANY REASONS, THE STAFF, THE ENVIROMENT, THE COURTYARDS AND THE COMMON AREAS AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO HELP US UNDERSTAND THE INS AND OUTS OF THIER SERVICES. MY MOTHER HAS BEEN THEIR FOR A MONTH NOW AND SHES LOVES IT, WE MOVED HER FROM A 3/2 CONDO INTO A SUDIO SO YES IT WAS A CHALLANGE BUT IMPROVIZING WITH SOME SRATIGIC FURNITURE AND REALIZING WHAT WAS FUNCTIONAL AND USEFUL WE MADE A VERY CUTE AND FUNCTIONAL ROOM FOR HER AND SHE ENJOYS IT VERY MUCH. IT IS EASIER FOR HER TO MANAGE AS WELL AND SHE HAS ALL THE AWESONE AMMINITIES OF ORCHARD PARK TO ENJOY RIGHT AT HER FINGERTIPS. SPEAKAING OF- KUDOS TO LINDA THE WELLNESS DIRECTOR, SHE HAS DONE AN AMAZING JOB OF GETTING MY MOTHER INVOLVED AND MAKING HER FEEL WELCOME, I CAN'T GET OVER HOW MUCH OF A CHANGE IN MY MOM'S SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT HAS HAPPENED IN JUST ONE MONTH. SHE WON IN BINGO THE OTHER DAY AND WAS TICKELED ABOUT THAT. THE ONLY THING I WOULD VOICE THAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT IS SOME OF THE MEALS, THEY SERVED HOT DOGS AND CHILI ONE LUNCH AND WE THOUGHT THE CHILI WAS REFRIED BEANS AND WE LAUGHED WHEN I TURNED THE CHILI UPSIDE DOWN AND IT STUCK TO THE SERVING BOWL. ALSO MY MOTHER HAS VOICED THE SCRAMBELED EGGS ARE DRY TO THE POINT WHERE SHE ASK FOR OATMEAL NOW INSTEAD. OVER ALL THUMBS UP TO ORCHARD PARK, WE LOVE IT AND I'M IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFORMANCE, CARE AND CONSIDERATION THE STAFF EXHIBITS. WE ARE HERE TO STAY!!!

Birchwood at Canco does seem to be rather short staffed. The ratio of staff to residents is not what it should be. The food there is also not that great, and mom has complained about that a couple of times. They have, however, been very kind and very helpful with my mother. Overall it has been a very good experience. Just the food and the amount of staff are the only areas I can see where they could improve. They really went out of their way helping us get settled. They have been very attentive to moms needs. They really do the best the can with the staff they have.

Our mother always wanted to go to Camelot "when the time came" but due to her dementia could not make that decision. Cheryl courted her for over a year and when the time came that we had to move my mom ready or not, Camelot was very accommodating to our needs. As a daughter who lives out of town, good communication is important. I always feel I can call the staff to address an issue with my mom and they follow up with me regarding the outcome. My mom is very happy at Camelot.

Orchard Park Memory Care fits my mothers needs for dementia. She has been there for about a week. So far I am pleased with the facility and the staff. My problem is my mother who is very negative, depressed, and stubborn .She is very difficult with the staff in spite of their attempts to help her adapt to the help they want to give her. Her personality and dementia are contributing to the adjustment.

My parents have been at Leisure Park a little over a month. Overall everyone has been extremely patient with them and me. I would only recommend some sort of family manual that would go over all the little things that I have had to learn day by day. ***** (five stars) to the angels Michelle and Dana in the Assisted Living Wellness Center, they have been a saving grace to me and my husband getting us all settled in. Stacey in sales also earned her stars working with my stubborn parents and really helped work out all the details. I would highly recommend Leisure Park to anyone looking for a safe place for the family, that also looks like a luxury hotel.

We are fairly happy with it. There have been a few little bumps along the way, because it's a new facility. I am fairly pleased with the staff. The food is good, the communication has been very good. There have been quite a few improvements over the last month. Not having a memory center director was a hindrance, but they have remedied that. It's still a little early to determine how that is going to go.

Be very specific during your interview re: your need and the assistance you will receive. MENUS example. If you are diabetic but unable to advocate for yourself, the choices are not what we understood they would be. Exercise classes could be organize by ability. Diabetic patients need to move to control sugars.. A more challenging class for those able does not exist. The place is beautiful, the staff attentive and pleasant; just be clear about WHAT assistance andadvocate for it.

My parents stayed at the Isles of Vero Beach on a trial basis so that we could go on vacation. They were so impressed with the facility that they made the decision to go ahead and make their permanent home there. The value for the price is very good since they only require very minimal care.

It was more expensive than others we had looked at, and I didn't feel like they provided the services and amenities to justify the higher price.

Originally this is where I wanted to place my Mom, but after my visit I decided on a smaller facility. Currently, Mountview is under construction/re-decorating, plumbing changes and I found the confusion not desirable for my Mom's move. Facility does need updating. I was also concerned that there really wasn't a space for the clients to sit outside except the bench in the front of the facility and a second story patio for those clients with rooms by it and my Mom loves to sit out in the sun.

This place has a very pleasant atmosphere, the decor is nice, and all of the staff have been friendly and helpful. They're also priced very affordably compared to other memory care options that we looked at. From what I've seen of and heard about the food it leaves a lot to be desired.

I RATE ELMCROFT HIGH ON WORKERS ATITUDES AND ATTENTION TO RESIDENTS. tHE PROBLEM THAT i HAVE NOTICED IS zACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED AND DISCUSSED BUT NOT CARRIED THOUGH. THE ACTIVITY DIRECTOR IS USED IN EVERY OTHER FUNCTION, VAN DRIVER, SETING UP FOR ACTIVITIES, ETC. RESIDENTS ARRIVE TO HAVE ACTIVITIES BUT NOBODY IS THERE TO LEAD.
