We chose Edgewood Point because we found our loved one really needed memory care and they offer that here. It came recommended to us as well. I really liked [name removed] who we worked with in the beginning. He has been very pleased with the food. I would recommend them to others looking for memory care.

Lakeside Assisted Living has a lot of open area inside the community and different spaces to do crafts and have families visit. We would recommend this community to other families.

The activities on the memory care side are a little bit more limited, but on the assisted living side there is always a ton going on. The value for the money is very good compared to other places in the area that we checked out. We would recommend the Stoney Ridge community to other families.

No complaints about the tour and this community was nice. It made it very hard to make a decision and this community was patient orientated. The location was a little further away and that was what shifted my decision. The staff were all competent and this was a great tour.

They have some very positive pluses: I have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in my apartment. I don't know how I would function if I did not have those two items. On the negative side: there's no garbage disposal or dishwasher, although some of the apartments have those at an extra cost. I'm just doing the best I can within the parameters of my budget. My apartment is roomy and cheerful. And they shampooed the carpets, completely repainted, and had it all ready for me when I moved in. Maintenance is quite slow though. And there seems to be some short-staffing issues in several departments. However, when I imagine how little their profit margin must be, that's understandable. And my rent did not go up. So I think they're doing the best they can with what they have to deal with.

we toured Brookdale Northville and upon first impression it was great. we chose another community that peaked our interest a little more.

Overall we are very happy with Magnolia Springs Loveland community, we really like all the staff there. Even with the turnover rates they are being proactive by hiring outside agencies to fill in the gaps. They have had a couple of difficult weeks lately regarding some positive tests with covid, but they have done a really good job containing it as best they can. They keep up with their protocols and have really just been spot on with the level of care provided for each resident. If anything, they go above and beyond for the residents. The residents are always lean and nicely dressed. The staff is always pleasant to speak with, you can tell they care about the residents, their needs are being met and they actually work to develop a relationship. We do know they are busy at time, but sometimes our loved ones belongings go missing and get lost and if they do get returned its not really in a timely manner so maybe the internal organization could be improved.

The community was nice but there were just some things that I felt that would not work well for my loved one. He is older and not in many activities so the community was a little too big for my loved ones needs. The community was not bad just did not work for my loved one.

This community was okay and the person who did the tour was great. There was just another community that worked better for my loved one and was smaller.

Great people and service is great (most of the time). Food leaves a lot to be desired but they try to please the community. Phone and tv are horrible!!!

Staff- aides and dining staff and Directors are top notch. All try to help out whenever and wherever needed. Food needs improvement. Need more options for food restrictions. Non-dairy, no nuts, seeds. Should be one option at every meal at least.

The meals and dining service during our loved ones stay was a little bit of a hit or miss so that could use some improvement. What we did like most about the community was the location, it was really close to our family and friends.

I would definitely recommend this community. It is clean and they are attentive. They are very positive, sunny bright and happy. Everyone's moods and attitudes also reflect this happiness. The food and dining is also excellent. The cost compared to other places locally is also affordable and better.

I loved the look and feel of this community, however, we were not allowed back into the memory care side. We were not able to tour and that gave us some hesitancy. This was just not the best community for my loved one.

I liked this community. I just liked the rooms in the facility I went with better. It was a little more affordable and has a friendly community with a lot of residents. Seems to be a very social environment.

We chose Five Star Residences because the cottages here are very nice. They have cleaning twice a week. In the cottages we just get breakfast, it mostly comes from Cisco so they aren't chef prepared meals. It is just a very attractive place in and out, they take great care of the grounds.. All of the staff and people we have met are friendly. I would recommend to others.

Fountainview is well organized and everyone is very nice. Any requests we have had have been taken care of in a promptly manner. They publish a monthly calendar with all of the activities so they seem to have a lot of things going on each day. My mother is happy with the food, they have an extensive menu with a lot of variety. She said that the quality of the meats are quite good. The grounds are beautiful. The campus is very nice layout, the buildings are in a circular arrangement around a large pond with gigantic fountains. My mom has a balcony that looks right out and it is a really nice view and the sound of the fountain is peaceful. There is a sense of security here and I know that my mother is safe. We have had no complaints and have been very pleased.

The care the community provides is amazing, and the activities are great. They always have something going on and really keep the residents busy. I would recommend the community based on my experience.
