The care and attention given to our Mom by the staff at Leisure park was excellent. They took care of Mom as if she was family. I highly recommend them.

We finally moved my dad to Sebring at Coventry Village and are very happy. He's clean and up and about with his walker (at Heritage he had been reduced to using a wheelchair). He rarely falls anymore. He's safe and well-cared for.

My Dad transferred from another facility to Emeritus at Camelot Place and we are amazed at how well he is doing. When he arrived he was in a wheelchair and suffering from bouts of confusion, lightheadedness, depression, and edema. The medical staff immediately reevaluated his condition and the adjusted the meds he was taking. Now he is walking again with his rolling walker. Now the confusuion, lightheadedness and depression are gone completely and the edema is much better. He is participating in many of the activities that are available to the residents. We are very pleased.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought Wynwood was a very nice looking place overall, but I don't think it would have been a good fit for my loved one. It is a large community, and I think it was just a bit too big for her to be comfortable in. But it was clean, well kept, and everyone we met on the tour seemed very friendly, so definitely worth a look!

We just placed my mother in a 1 bedroom apartment in Winterberry Heights and it is beautiful. Everything is bright, cheery, clean. The staff is so helpful and friendly, they go out of their way to assist my mother's transition. Director Claudine MacNamara has been so empathetic, kind, understanding and helpful with our entire family. I can't get over what a lovely place this is.....my husband and I are ready to move in when the time comes! A+++++

Our advisor Elaine Warner from "A Place for Mom" was an extremely knowledgeable, kind, understanding, always there for questions and answers. She connected with Winterberry Heights numerous times when I didn't want to 'bug' them about my mother's placement. It felt good knowing that I could call her anytime just to vent if need be. She is incredible!!!! Winterberry Heights is beyond beautiful; bright, clean, open atmosphere, beautiful furnishings in the main room. Mom's one bedroom is large, clean and gorgeous and the staff and residents are wonderful. I know once Mom gets acclimated she will love it there.

We were planning to move my mother into this facility until circumstances forced us to have to go with a higher level of care. I have to say that the staff of Elmcroft was fantastic, and went out of their way to help us quickly scramble to adapt to the change. They were very helpful and proactive and worked to help us even after it became clear my mother wouldn't be joining them. Their above and beyond efforts make me completely comfortable with putting a loved one in their hands. If you're looking for a place in the area, definitely give them a chance, I believe they genuinely care.

I had a ridiculous time placing my mom at other locations because she is difficult to deal with. The staff at Leisure Park took control we placed my mom and she is now adjusting. the staff is amazing the place is clean and they have plenty of activities to keep them busy. my mother is in the" bridges to rediscovery" unit which is for dementia and Alzheimers patients I would highly recommend it.

In such a dark time in our lives, autumn leaves has been a beacon of light. We are blessed to have found this home.

Overall we are really pleased, she is getting the care she needs. She is more comfortable than she was before. The food would be more of a three, but I am still happy with them overall.

They are doing a fine job. She has been very pleased with Elmcroft. The food has been good, we haven't had any complaints about the food.

Very nice facility. The staff was very helpful and friendly. New facility so they currently have room for my mother-in-law. Rooms were very nice and well organized. The dining area was extremely clean and very well laid out. Not such a huge place, so we feel she would learn her away around easily. Took her back to tour and she liked it. Looking good here.

I think they could improve on having more staff because they might be more attentive to their residents. In regards to the memory care facility (heartland village), they have 20 residents with 4 staff members. We have found pills on the ground, my father's clothes with other people and vice versa. You pay a lot, but you aren't getting the services you should be getting, despite it being a beautiful looking facility. They could also have more activities...just looks like they sit people at a table or in front of a television. I know it might be difficult for some patients to do activities, but there are some patients that could use some cognitive activity. They are friendly though, and have accommodated us with everything we've addressed.

They have quite a few people there that help and deal correctly with the seniors living there. Brookdale really tries to get them to talk and be comfortable while they are there. We are happy with this facility.

Wow what a facility! Very clean and lots of room for Mom to roam. Tons of activities throughout the week and trip to the casino once a month. mom's favorite. Ability to accommodate the changing needs of Mom with all the different levels of memory care.

Autumn Leaves has been absolutely wonderful, I'd give them a 6 out of 5 if I could. It's been a very long road for us, and they were helpful, patient, and informative throughout the whole process. It's a lovely looking place, and really feels like a home. The staff are all very friendly, and the residents are well taken care of. It really has been a positive experience for us, and we would recommend it to other families looking into this sort of care.

We've had a very positive experience here so far! The staff are all very friendly, the place is clean, and they have a lot to offer the people who live here. My loved one really seems to be enjoying herself, I haven't heard a single negative word!

The staff at Elmcroft of Downriver is extremely friendly and accomidating. They make you feel welcome, and they treat the residents with the utmost respect. The food is also very good. I have been slightly disappointed in the activities and do wish that they had more. My only real complaint though is that if you need something real quick it is hard to get it. When you push the button for help it always takes at least a few minutes before they respond.

Overall they have been really great to deal with. Matt, the gentleman that we dealt with, was very knowledgeable and helpful. They made it a very easy experience and a smooth transition.
