Love this place, mom loves it, everyone very helpful and friendly. They really are very good to the residents and the staff is top notch from top to bottom, no matter what the issue they are there to help.

We liked the facility very much. The one bedroom was very large. One of the plusses is the variety in ages and the many activiities. We also liked the balcony area.

We found the facility adequate, room was as expected in size. We were concerned that there was not a variety in ages. Also the feeling of being locked in bothered us.

My Father has been here 1 month and he is like a new person, stronger, more invigorated, and far more socially engaged. I attribute this directly to the entire team at Brookdale. I am not exaggerating when I say that the aids nurses (Val & Ashley are great), and management team (Pam, Shannon, Terri) are excellent. Our questions are answered quickly, requests dealt with fast, and most of all my dad is happy and making better progress than we expected!

It was hard for a couple weeks to get Mom comfortable but she is now doing well. She gets more activities and exercises too. She went on an outing to K-Mart. I take her to church and get her hair done, now she is okay with return here. The food is good. The facility is very nice and clean. I would recommend them.

So far everything is working out very well. My father has adjusted very well to this community. It is a nice and clean community. The staff is good, they have been great to work with. I'am very pleased with everything they have done for us. I know he is safe and good hands. They are providing him with good care. I would recommend this community.

Magnolia Springs East is fantastic! I spent three days with my mother there when she recently moved in. The food is fantastic...better than any restaurant in my town. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a broad array of activities. The facility is top notch with wonderful artwork and architectural molding...first class. I visited many places in Louisville and am convinced this is the BEST place in the Louisville area to live if you or your loved one needs assistance. It is hard to find a complaint. If I were to change just one thing, it would be to install inset ceiling lighting with a dimmer switch, as the lighting could be much brighter for my mother with limited vision. But if a dimmer switch were installed, then other folks with no vision problems could tone it down. But we will fix that with lamps we bring in. Honestly...it does not get better than Magnolia Springs East!

My mom lived at the North Oaks residence for 10 years and just passed away last week. The exceptional care and attention she received here by the loving care givers, we believe extended her life by many years. The staff became an extended family to my mom and to us. This was the third assisted living place where mom lived, but the only place where when I left her after a visit, I did not have to worry about her constantly and hope the staff was taking good care of her. Brookdale North Oaks has been a loving home for mom for a decade and provided me piece of mind over all those years that has been a invaluable gift to a child of a parent with dementia. I would recommend them to anyone who has a parent in need of exceptional memory care.

Been great - wish dad was more social, but he's not. More "home style" (southern) cooking is his preference.

I know my mother is in good hands here at this community. They are taking good care of her and her needs. The community looks wonderful, they do a very good job with the cleanliness. The staff is good, they are caring for her well. There are activities offered. She loves the food. They are providing her with great care. I would recommend this community.

I love it here, everyone is so friendly. The food is very good. I'm enjoying having less responsibility.

It's a wonderful place. The staff treats each resident like they are one of the only ones that lives in the community. The staff listens to family and addresses the issues. This has been the first month and all adjustments are in a transition, but have been patient with me and mom.

I have been here for about 3 months. I can say this is a very nice, clean place. All employees are wonderful. They can't ever do enough for me. Thank you so very much for taking care of me - all employees are very sweet and good to me.

I have enjoyed Elmcroft because it is warm, comfortable, good food, things to do. Friendly people live here and work here. i am close to my daughter and her family who I love very much.
