All the above rate a 4 or a 5. The friendly staff, quality of care and cleanliness are top of the list for my and myself as well. They are a 5. The low end of the list above is the food. It is hit and miss for my dad. Overall experience is A+. [name removed] is amazing

I just want to point a few things out. We love the place overall. But their medication management is a hit or miss. Because our mom has health problems, it's hard to maintain her condition without proper medication management. Their system has problems and instructions from the nurse doesn't get updated to the caregivers. Almost all the caregivers are great.

Our family is thankful for the care our sister receives at Elan Corpus Christi Memory Care. She is happy there ~ she enjoys the food, loves the caregivers, and tells us how blessed she feels to be a part of this community. The staff are attentive, kind, and communicate with us when she needs personal items or to give us updates. The Nurse Practitioner keeps us informed about her health and wellbeing. It brings us comfort to know our sister is content, safe, and surrounded by people who care for her. We are grateful to the Elan Corpus Christi team for all they do!!!!

The individual I worked with was very informative and addressed all my questions. She understood my situation and was able to provide me with alternative options. I did this for a friend who needed this visit to determine options for herself and husband. It's going to be difficult for me to describe them and help her make tough life style changes. This person gave me names of people to call to aid in her choices. even showed me the types of rooms available. but left everything open so we can come back and get any more info needed. Kudos for being so kind and generous with a novice!

Elan Corpus Christie staff are very kind and personable. They treat mom ([name removed]) kindly and with much patience. The facility is beautiful and they offer a lot of amenities. The price is comparable to other facilities

The nurses that I had contact with were amazing. The administration was also great. All were very attentive and compassionate.

The personal care assistance through a marvelous job and they show that they honestly care about what they're doing and about those they're helping.

After my wife of 52 years died, my daughter, [name removed] moved me from a single family house, to an assited care facility nearby. I live recently had a fractured skill and series strokes.

Staff has listened to everything I have reported. And for the most part have taken care of or has put in motion to resolve the issues. If I was ever in need of assisted living The Pearl would definitely be an option.

All in all I am happy with WestMark. It is clean, the food is good and the staff is friendly and they try to be helpful when asked.

Great new place. Needs improvement in certain places. Have had a couple of issues. Some have been resolved. Looking into moving my mother into a more hands on nursing care place. Plus we have a language barrier with her and. I Spanish speaking people to communicate with her.

The rent went up without anyone letting me know. I know my mom is at the top for care but I feel rent and care are very expensive and now it's gone up another [fee removed] a month. It's at the point now her monthly income cannot cover expenses. If you have any ideas or ways to help or assistance in this I'd love to hear! Overall my mom is happy at the facility. I am very pleased with the care! Price is the only thing.

The music they play in the foyer is both too loud and certainly not enjoyable to the residents. Staff picks of "modern" music is not what I believe their residents would choose

Overall, the pearl has been great - it's never easy and I don't think anyone could earn a 5 overall, but they've been great, very supportive and helpful. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend The Pearl Senior Living to other families.

Management doesn't always follow through with requests. The staff are friendly and it is a good value for the money.

I'm so glad I moved my mom here. The place is always clean. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The residents seem well cared for. I would give it 4.5 stars because no place is perfect..I recommend visiting at different times to see if it's a good place for your loved one. I haven't been there during activities so I couldn't rate.

The only real complaints I have is with regard to tenant and visitor access. The system in place for securing patients is not by any means 100% effective. I have found the door to main access unlocked or open several times in the recent past. A more effective approach to keeping the access door closed at all times would be to incorporate a mechanical closing device. Using such a device would more likely keep the door secure thus allowing tenants to have the access code and not have to tie up personnel assets for the purpose of monitoring the one and only tenant and visitor access point. This would also help to keep people from having to wait in the elements for someone to open the door from the inside

The staff interaction at Brookdale Longview is great. They all seem friendly and attentive. We have sat with our family and also ate some meals. What we ate was good. Plates are well arranged and attractive. I think the housekeeping could improve. We would recommend Brookdale Longview Senior Living to others. We have recommended it already to some friends for their loved one.
