The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They seem to be knowledgeable and concerned with the well being of their residents. The things I didn't like about the facility were more cosmetic; the dining are was a little spartan, and in the memory care unit showers are not in the bathroom within the residents' room.

This looked like a nice community when I visited. The people I met were nice. This community is for assisted living and we found that my loved one needed independent living.

I also toured PResitge Pointe. The place was clean and maintained nicely. The staff was all friendly and the person that took me around was very informative. It was a good experience, but not the best fit for my loved one.

The community is beautiful. The staff have been wonderful. Mom is not a fan of the food. They do offer daily activities and she is able to have her hair done once a week. I would recommend this community.

Overall my father is doing pretty well since his move to this community. He is being cared for well, and the family is pleased. I know he is safe and in a good place. This is a community I would recommend, it is working out well for us.

My mother in law was in very good hands here at this community. Unfortunately my father in law decided to move her back home. We were very pleased with all they did for us. This is a lovely community, they do a great job with the cleanliness. The staff did a great job of caring for her and her needs. We knew she was safe and receiving great care at this community.

Everything is working out very well for my husband here at this community. They are very kind and friendly. The community looks good. There is nice food and good activities. The staff is accommodating and very helpful. Overall they are caring for him and I would recommend this community.

This seems like a nice facility. It is clean and well kept. The staff is attentive to the residents and they are very polite and helpful. We don't really have any complaints so far. There have not been any major issues.

We looked here when we were looking for options. It was a little higher of a care level than what we were ready for. We needed the illusion of a little more independence. Just not a good fit for us.

I currently utilize the services Prestige Pines offers for my parent, and I think the community is a nice environment everyone who works there is very helpful and it is very nice setting. Cleanliness is great and friendly staff.

Prestige Pointe is very clean. They are very friendly, and very welcoming. I have not experienced this, but from what my loved one has told me, some of the night staff are not very friendly to the residents.

I think Sterling House of Saginaw is a nice place overall, but it did not end up being a good fit for my loved one. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and their whole setup is very nice. However, they seemed to have some difficulty controlling the behaviors of some of their memory care residents. There were a lot of outbursts and shouting that they would just let happen, and it was making my loved one uncomfortable.

Mom and I visited Sterling House today. We actually agreed on something...we both really liked it! The dog, Casey, is a nice touch since we are dog people. It felt homey and comfortable. The residents provided positive feedback without and prompting. We will definitely keep this place in mind!

The manner and friendliness of all the staff doesn't sag no matter now busy they are. Patience and gentleness come to mind when describing staff feeding or attending to my loved one's needs. Amenities are excellent; dining includes cloth napkins and personal wait-service. The only drawback has been some laxity in laundering pillowcases which are rotated under the patient's legs (patient is bed-bound). Apparently there is a regulation for assisted living homes which prohibit the use of side rails on beds in those facilities. There are several reasons why our patient has needed them for his comfort and safety, and we have had to improvise other measures to attempt to keep him safe. The staff DO work very well with Gentiva Hospice services.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very attractive community, they had a lovely main building and common areas, and well kept grounds! Unfortunately it was a fairly expensive community, and the rooms in the price range we were looking in were very small, and would have had shared restrooms.

Its beautiful. I would have moved in myself. If you have a loved one with Alzheimers this is the place. My only problem was not being able to get a price. Not even an estimate.

We've had a good experience with Sterling House so far. The facility itself is very clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly. The community has a nice family atmosphere, and we feel like they treat us just as well as they treat our loved one who lives there! She has had some complaints about the food, and having tried it myself I agree that it could use improvement. It's not bad, but could definitely be better.

All in all, everything was alright. My loved one was only there for a short time, but while they were there, everything was very clean. They definitely could have used some improvement as far as communication goes. It didn't seem like the staff was always aware of what was going on with the residents. Other than that, the staff was very friendly to both the residents and the families. We wouldn't have kept my loved one there if they weren't.

My mother enjoyed her short respite stay at Prestige Pines. I am sure we will be using the facility again for future respite stays.

We're very happy with this community so far! It's a very airy, clean, and inviting feeling facility. The staff seemed to have a genuine interest in taking care of the needs of the residents. They respond promptly and take care of anything that comes up immediately. One area that I feel like they could improve on a little is just the interpersonal skills of the caregivers. They're very prompt and helpful, but I wish they were a bit more personable, things like just checking in to say "Hi!", cheerfulness, etc.
