Five stars. My mother was there for over three years and DACMC became not only her home, but; her second family. She loved her caretakers through her dementia. They were always concerned about her well being and comfort. Through other relatives I looked after; DACMC was by far the best facility and staff.

My father lives in the memory unit. He is well cared for. The staff all know the residents and from what I can tell the family and regular visitors. They do a very good job communicating what’s going on and if there is any incident or fall. From the greeting you get when walking in from [name removed] (she makes everybody feel like a million bucks!) or from the care providers and nurses, they are focused on the residents comfort and needs. You get what you pay for in this place.

Wexford Place is a wonderful and caring facility for seniors. It is attractive and clean. The staff cares about residents, and treats them with respect. We moved my Mother-In-Law there about two years ago, and are very satisfied and pleased with the decision. This is the right place for her. Her health and outlook have improved significantly!

Luv it we needed to move in early because of a health issue with my husband. Everything was done that could help us. Lots stress help. They were there when we needed them.

I moved to DRV one year ago. The management, staff and the people all work together nicely. I thought moving to a retirement facility my lifestyle would be a lot slower -- It’s not the case! It’s really fun and lots of support services for those with needs

Gorgeous place. Love it. Cost could be the only drawback.

This is a Top of the line place . It has everything you could imaging you might need for your parents. From the time you step in you realize this is a place you feel your parents will be well taken care of. from independent living all thru mental care. On site doctor support, pediatrist, onsite dental visits, pharmacy, a couple of hair salons, indoor pool, exercise room, large gathering center for the entire facility for events/presentations. A spectacular view across Cincinnati, with dining rooms throughout. All rooms are large with multiple rooms per unit. Nursing stations for Skill nursing, and mental care that reminds you that you have staff around the clock to manage care. The community relations Coordinator, [name removed] was friendly, knowledgable and offered all the information and answers we needed. Just walking thru the place , all the staff including maintenance were friendly and said hello as we walked thru this incredible facility. Beautiful art work is displays everywhere, made you feel like this was a high end Hotel. This is definitively on our selection list. The Only negative would be distance from our Home as it's about 16 miles away but beats the current 150 miles we travel to see Mom. Price is a lot but we expect this as we embark on this journey.

I went on a tour here and we liked it. But it just was to much for my parents. They offered services that they didn't need or want. It was huge and beautiful like a Marriott resort. The staff answered all of my questions.

My father-in-law was only a resident for a month, but I can only say wonderful things about Wexford Place. He wasn't happy about moving to a residential care facility, but in less than 2 weeks, he was saying that he liked it there. Wexford changed his whole attitude and showed him the benefits of residential care. The staff was helpful and always friendly. The physical therapy department was tremendous and made huge strides with my father-in-law's mobility in just the short time he was there. He loved the "happy hour" and other social aspects that they offered. Their social calendar had a nice variety. The food was good too! A wonderful place, can't give Wexford enough stars!

Really like this property. The floor plans were straight forward and would be easy to decorate. The location of this property is a very large plus. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the kitchen area particularly the countertop width.

The staff at Senior Star are very helpful. The dining room staff are especially wonderful, sweet, and attentive. They have a lot of activities here for the residents like games and outings, and I find that the community is very clean. My loved ones are being well taken care of here, and I'd certainly recommend the community to others.

I was very impressed when I visited Wexford Place and signed my father up that day. I now have the peace of mind that he's well taken care of and can't walk out of the facility since he has dementia. The staff is wonderful and when I toured the facility everything was fully explained. My father feels at home and seems to fit in there. Thank you!

Wexford is a great place. Mom felt right at home from the minute we came through the door. I had toured the place first, and it made our "short list" of places for mom to visit. They have many floor plans to choose from, and we found a larger one-bedroom that fit her perfectly. On the tour, she met several residents, including a lady she bonded with right away. Wexford's website includes a "room planner" where you can not only view floor plans, but even place furniture in it to see how things fit. We did this with Mom ahead of time, and when we got in the unit, she already knew where things would go.

My Dad (now 92) lived at Wexford Place for over three years. He and I both knew he was in the right place. I always rested easily knowing he was in good hands and surrounded by a caring, compassionate, highly qualified staff who went above and beyond to meet his every need. Dad moved recently due medical issues. If I had to do this over again, I'd definitely choose Wexford Place. Dad and I were both blessed to have crossed their path; my only regret is that he is no longer a resident.

Senior Star at Burgundy Place is an excellent home for my dad. He has been there for three months now, and while he is slow to warm up to the community, the other residents seem really happy. The staff is excellent, especially the dining room staff. They know Daddy by name and really work hard to make him comfortable there. There are so many activities to be involved in from bible studies and church services, concerts, exercise, and off campus outings. There are lots of different people living here, so once dad gets warmed up, he’ll definitely make friends. The food is wonderful, and there are always multiple choices during mealtimes. Residents can even have meals delivered to their rooms if they wish. Once a week, the staff will clean residents’ rooms, dust, and change bed linens. They will even do laundry for a fee. Our only issue is that the Home Health staff is not as good as we feel it could be. Dad needs help with showering, and the staff is very good about coming in every day to make sure he can get cleaned up, but they always seem to come in the evening. My father prefers to shower earlier in the daytime. Besides this issue, we feel that Senior Star is well worth it, and our experience has been excellent.
