They have sitting areas, exercise room, craft room, shopping trips, transportation for appointments, parties, bingo and exercise class every day, table/card games, special entertainment, and church service is on site. We've been pleased. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is a nice place, at an affordable price.

I think the maintenance needs to be better, my moms kitchen faucet has been broken since she moved in on [date removed]. They keep promising to fix it but never have. Also I think when someone goes into an apartment they should lock the door behind them. My mom has slept all night several times with the door unlocked after she was given her evening pills. I also think they need to get better quality food and someone that knows how to run a kitchen. I did catering for over 400 people everyday for 13 years and I know their kitchen needs help.

The staff is friendly. There is room for improvement on the food. Often it's too salty/over seasoned - perhaps in some ways they're trying too hard for the population they're serving. They also serve a lot of sandwiches for the dinner meal, after a main meal at lunchtime There is a sense of community in the building. The facility always seems really clean, and I often see someone cleaning. The décor is not the most modern and on trend, but it's nice and it feels homey, which I think is very appropriate for this age group . It's also well maintained and inviting.

We liked Garden Estates of Temple quite a bit. When we were looking we thought it was just independent living which is why we were not able to go with them.

Our experience has been very good so far. The facility is very clean. The people are very friendly. They just need do something about food. It's like a school lunch program.

The staff is very personable. They treat my mother with great respect and deal with her needs accordingly. I love the apartment. It's clean and well maintained. The only negative I have for them is sometimes communication is not as quick as I would like.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was really nice but we just did not get to see a lot of walking around which is one thing we wanted to see

Our loved one is no longer there but she enjoyed the short time she was.

Right away what stood out to us about Garden Estates was the people, they are just very very excellent and really friendly. Our loved one did not really participate in the activities but they have a ton of different things to offer for the residents. We do think it is a really good value for the money and based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

This facility is nice. Overall, we're happy with it. They're facing some staff turnover which has effected things. That's everywhere in America right now. Housekeeping is good, but lots of schedule changes due to staffing. They have a new chef and are also having trouble with supply issues/getting orders in. Due to that, variety isn't always good and they've had to substitute items. They're doing a very good job given the challenges. Their efforts are sincere and they're trying to keep things running smooth. The care here is top notch. They also make extra effort to keep the residents socializing and interactive. Maintenance is an issue also. It's an older facility and repair needs are many. Again, due to staffing, repairs are slow to be completed. They just need a little more attentive maintenance. I would recommend them to family and friends.

We picked this community, because it was the best for the money. Overall, it has all been a positive experience.

I would tell others I have been satisfied with our experience so far. There have been a few things I haven't been pleased with. There used to be choices for entrees for meals and now the menu doesn't have the choices. It would be nice to see the choices back for the residents to choose for their meals. The meals can be delivered to the resident's rooms; however, there is a charge. If your loved one is ill, then there may not be a charge associated with delivering of the meals. The staff communication with the family has been great!

It has been a good experience, and the residents and staff is super friendly.

We had a good tour experience with Arbor Terrace of East Cobb but unfortunately the location was just going to be too far from family.

Great people!!! Management seems great so far - caring, responsive, good listeners. Food is average but understand they are looking for new cook.

The community is older but it is well maintained. We have a few things we are working out but it would be anywhere we went. They always take care of it. We are please with them. I would recommend this home and it is a great community for your loved ones to have independence in a safe environment.

I toured Court at Round Rock and it was a very nice community. We chose another community because Court at Round Rock was way too modern and upscale for our loved one's preference. The cost was also more expensive than what my loved one was comfortable with.

This was a good community, they didn't provide all care types and I was looking for that for my loved one.

My dad and our family has been pleased. Everybody has been quite nice and accommodating. Every time we've asked for something or have tried to make a change, they've done the best they could to accommodate any requests. The med techs have been really good with my dad. I have no complaints about the facility. The courtyard is great, and my dad loves going outside there. The room is a good size. The common areas are well decorated and well done. And the cost is comparable to similar places in the area. I have no reservations recommending Arbor Terrace of East Cobb to other families.
