My aunt is doing very good here. It is a very clean and nice environment. The staff are very nice people. I have recommend this place to others. The meals are restaurant style with lots of choices and my aunt likes it. There are plenty of activities for my aunt.

We chose this community as it had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are open, caring and great at keeping an eye on her. The other residents are also good at watching out for her. The community is stylish, updated and they have an incredible maintenance crew. Mom likes spending time with the new friends she has made here.

I feel my mother is receiving excellent care. Her adjustment has been difficult for her and the staff have given her love and support.

So far a great experience for my parents. Moving is always a challenge. It is a matter of adjustment to new surroundings and schedules. The staff have been very friendly and supportive. Meals are reasonable, menu a bit limited for dinner. The facility is well maintained. The 2-bedroom unit is very spacious and has just the right amount of kitchen facility when needed. Since they just moved in, unclear is cleaning program and its quality. Thus far experience has been good.

We are pretty happy with them. The only thing is that the food could be a little better, but the Thanksgiving buffet they put out was great. The staff is friendly, and they are on top of things, and really good with the medication management. It's clean, and they come in once a week to vacuum and dust and take care of the place. It really is working out really well.

My mom has resided at Peninsula del Rey for over a year now, and we are very pleased with this facility. It is bright, spotless, the staff is very friendly and supportive, and it is very conducive to her moving around and taking part in activities when she chooses. The living area is large, bright and convenient, allowing her to feel and function as if she were in a normal apartment setting. PLUS services are the limo-driver service for appointments, the in-unit laundry. The minus service is probably the dining room. While far superior to other facilities, the food tends to be bland, and the service tends to be slow and forgetful. That said, there is always a good deal of choice in the foods, setting Peninsula del Rey apart from other facilities that we visited.

Our family is really happy that our mother is living at the Peninsula Del Rey in Daly City. It’s comforting to know that she gets great care and attention by the staff every day. Everyone there is super kind and nice to her. Our mother really enjoys the activities, particularly the outings to the casinos and museums and the “Mystery Tours.” The common areas are elegantly furnished and decorated with an abundance of fresh flowers, and our mother’s apartment is always very clean. It’s the best place for our mom.

It's a very nice facility. It's a really good quality place to go. I'm really happy with it. This is more of a memory care situation.

We looked at this place and it was really nice and pretty. The rooms were nice and everything was clean. Of course, you can't really tell how a place really is unless you stay there but it seemed nice. The guy that showed up around was great and extremely knowledgeable.

There was no vacancy and they didn't know when they'll be able to get my mother in. For her care needs we really only had two choices and they didn't have a vacancy so that kind of made our decision for us. It looks like a wonderful place - very clean and modern. I have heard from one of our doctors and they said it's a good place. They didn't have any vacancy so we just moved on to the next option.

My aunt lived there and it was good - they took very good care of her. She needed the highest level of care and they gave it to her. She did move out but they even allowed her to come back when she was dying to be in her own apartment and in her own environment. I thought that was really great. They were great!

Personal, caring staff. Excellent activities and amenities and very clean!!! Wish I could stay awhile myself just to get away. No worries - everything is taken care of - maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

They are adjusting very well. The only complain negative they have told us about is that the mail box is too long sometimes the mail gets too far back to reach. Other then that they really like it here. My sister visits them often and she is also happy with the situation so we feel we made the right choice after looking at about 35 communities. They are happy with the food and the community. They have lots of activities and the transport van takes them to places like the mall and things like that.

I was very happy when we toured the Hallmark and wanted my loved ones there right away, but they chose to wait. The staff at the Hallmark worked with me by staying in touch, inviting them to events, even visiting at my request to make sure that when the time was right, they felt like they were going to the best place! They went over and beyond the call of duty when it came to making the move in transition smooth. I feel like their staff is family!

Toured June 15. New facility, not near capacity. For profit. Only 2 meals a day but all units have full kitchen and washer/dryer. Not yet licensed for assisted living. Need to clarify how they would deal with a fall - extra costs for pendant? Pet visits? Expensive start up - what is community fee paying for ($3,500)? What is the basis for refunding the security deposit (1 month rent) - isn't that only to cover repairs other than ordinary wear and tear? What are costs of social events and outings? More clarity on cost of extra services ($10 per 15 minutes, minimum of 1/2 hour). Does the cable TV include MSNBC, HBO (get list). Very friendly, clean and bright. Spacious. Studio small - about $4,000 pm/ some 1 BR at $4800 (most at $4900) pm. Active committees of residents.

SR seems to be a good place for my parents, although I don't have any basis for comparison. The staff is fantastic, the facility is aging but satisfactory.

Facilities are very nice. Spacious dining areas. Staff is very caring and compassionate. Yes, we would recommend The Artisan Mount Pleasant to other families based on the experience so far.

The village was the right decision for my mom. The apt is beautiful, there are so many activities to do. The other residents are friendly and for the most part she likes the food. The first 5 months were hard and she talked about going home but once she made friends it was a lot easier. The meals can be hard with who to eat with.

Our loved one does not participate in the activities and with the value for cost it is expensive. The Response time sometimes slow. Food delivery too expensive. My mom has difficulty understanding some of the nurses/helpers. Most workers very nice! Facility very nice and clean. Extra costs are expensive.

It is a beautiful place to stay. The food was phenomenal. The rooms were nice and big. The distance is further than what we to go. I would recommend to others.
