Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay is a wonderful facility that is newly renovated. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

It's only been a few months since my mom arrived. After looking at numerous places my mother chose The Pineapple House at Sapphire Lakes because it was bright, light and very clean. The staff is also very pleasant and upbeat making her feel like she is part of a big family.

Fantastic help, From Housekeeping all the way up to the wonderful nurses that take care of my dad! My dad is still not thrilled about the food, but that could just be him . not sure we could afford the place if it was just him, but he gets to split it with his girlfriend [name removed] , and it's working out great! Gone through several directors so there's never a guaranteed social activity there is fun! They love the pool, but disappointed. They only get to use it twice a week. They've only lived there for a year, but they certainly have made friends and it feels like home to them.

Some of the staff had no patience with the elderly. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families but it would depend on the patient's diagnosis - not dementia. My husband was not a good patient to be at Grand villa due to dementia. Otherwise it is a nice place.

The staff is very friendly and really helped my mom feel at home. It’s a very nice environment for people to feel independent while getting the help they need with meals and meds. The staff also made me feel very welcomed by acknowledging me and knowing who my mom was within the first week.

Well we did daycare for mom and in that department they could do better on including the daily golf in their activities

The staff is lovely and quite accommodating. The owners appear to prefer docile residents. My mother went a week before a UTI was identified. The manager is a good person and there was high management turnover.

They have recently been working on improving the food service time. A shortage of wait staff has caused delayed service and cold/hot food. This is still a problem in progress.

Staff are extremely friendly. That was the main reason we chose this facility over others.

Most staff are very friendly and helpful. I have limited contact with administration some I don't even know their names. They do take residents several different places to shop, eat or some shows at the Ruth Eckerd Hall.

The rooms are not kept that clean unfortunately. The staff they have are lovely but they don't have enough employees. It's good for the price.

I was are without my pain meds for 3-4 days. I have Ms. Overall everything else is pretty good. Once during a hurricane we has no power in a couple buildings, mine being one for a few days.

This is a beautiful building exceptionally kept! The staff is very friendly. I have 2 parents in Memory Care. The process to have them move here was easy and pretty fast. I hear the food is fantastic! Overall I think this is a great place. They have transportation and outings, activities. I feel secure knowing they're needs are being met.

Friendly staff and residents, visible executive director, beautiful backyard with pool (no one uses). Could use upgraded elevators and a fresh, new contemporary look (the furniture and décor is TIRED).

The staff is great, very friendly. The facility is very nice, well maintained and is great if you want to be around a lot of people.

My mom really likes it there. The care staff and kitchen staff are friendly and efficient. They keep in touch if there is a fall or incident. The nurse does not appear to interact with individual residents. As the head of nursing, they should be more aware of the individuals under their care.

Good staff, but turnover is a problem. Food is okay but not great. The facility is beautiful.

Grandvilla Ormond is one of the few places I would allow a family member.
