This is my very first day at Grand Villa East. Also I find that everyone is very cordial and pleasant.

I have researched and visited many facilities in Florida to find the best place for my 91 year old sister. Grand Villa of De Land beats the competition by a mile! You know as soon as you enter the facility and are greeted by the concierge that you are welcome. It is difficult to place someone you love in a care facility but the transition was smooth and easy because of the caring folks at Grand Villa. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the ratio of staff to residents. My sister was treated with respect and dignity and was integrated into the facility like she was a member of the family. The staff goes out of their way to plan activities that keep the residents active and motivated. I also found that pricing was very fair and was in several cases less than some of the other facilities I had visited. I highly recommend Grand Villa of De Land!

Wonderful place with wonderful staff. Clients seem genuinely happy there. Rooms nice. Size of facility is small and not overwhelming. We want to go back and see this place again and have lunch. This was my Mom’s favorite place in the area.

I loved the Grand Villa's the residence is very fresh and new and the amenities are terrific. Would have loved to have mom stay here.

We were impressed with the overall condition of the facility.The tour guide was very pleasant and informative. This should be a good place for meeting the needs of my sister.

Six years ago my wife passed away and I was living in an Assisted Living Community on the West Coast. My daughter lives in the College Park area so I wanted to be closer to her. I started searching and I found Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs. I have live here for 5 years. I looked at places that were newer and fancier. What I found at Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs were, caring, compassionate and loving staff. Their logo of, Looks Like Home Feels like Family rings true to me. I felt at home and still do. Activities and Food are Great but the most important thing to me was feeling cared for and at home. Stop by for a visit, and ask Jim.

This was a beautiful newer facility, which is currently full with no vacancies. The manager was very knowledgeable, and was thorough in answering our questions. The rooms are good size, and well-laid out, and all have a window. After the tour, they provided us with a beautiful lunch. Very impressive!

We stayed at Tuscan Gardens during the storm, and it was excellent, very, very nice. They were very accommodating. I understand that they took in over 200 people during the storm along with their dogs, cats, everything. I would absolutely recommend this community to others. The only reason we didn’t stay here ourselves is because it’s too far from the rest of our family.

This is a very nice community, the staff is wonderful and they really show that they care about their residents. Each of the apts here has their own front door that opens onto the courtyard. The walkways are covered and there's even an exercise pool for the residents to use. My parents have their own furiture so it feels more like home to them. They have both started to take part in the activities, mom more than dad and they enjoy going to the dining room, mom loves the food. Their apt has a small kitchenette so they like having breakfast at home to start their day. I would recommend coming on one of their tours here to see things for yourself.

Loved the complex layout. It reminded me of a tropical resort. The rooms were good sizes with balconies. Very clean and well kept. The staff were really nice.

I was hunkered down with my parents who reside at Brentwood at Fore Ranch during Hurricane Irma in Ocala, FL. I was so impressed at the organization and dedication of those who work in this facility to continue the highest quality of continued care during the storm. My parents have lived here for a yr. and a half. I was always impressed by the facility and the care that they receive, but in the face of a national disaster, I can't be more sure that choosing Brentwood was the best decision. This certainly is a sturdy structure...I never heard Irma during even the worse. There was a temporary loss of power, generators kicked in for 14 hours, before full power was restored to the facility.

We had a very nice tour of this community and the staff was able to answer all our questions as well. And from what we saw it was clean and well-kept up for the most part. We just felt that this community would be too large with the multi stories and would be hard for the mother-in-law to get around.

So far things are going well for mom at this community. The food is decent and they take good care of the community. They offer daily activities and the staff encourage her to participate. We like that they offer a lock down memory unit. I would recommend this community.

I like knowing that my mom does like this care at this community. The staff is caring and we like that they keep me informed on her progress. The menu offers a lot of healthy meals. We like that the staff keeps her active as much as possible. We would recommend this community for the care of other families

Great apts with additional care needed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My sister brought a care manager into the facility 3 Jul for an assessment. My sister does not have a medical POA and my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 14 months ago. Sentinel care should not have been permitted in the facility. Guests, specifically medical professionals, should not be allowed to visit my mom without my approval. I was called by the memory care nurse in time to have sentinel removed.

What a beautiful and wonderful place for seniors. My Dad is so happy. I am so happy that he is happy and in a great place. He says he is on a permanent cruise.

This is a lovely community, and my love one is doing very well since her move to this community. They are providing her with great care, and we are pleased with all they have done for us. They are fully staff, and are very attentive towards their residents. We know she is safe, and in good hands. Overall this is a lovely community, and I would recommend it.

So far everything is working out well for my mother with her move to this community. I'am satisfied with all they have done for my family. This is a nice community overall.
