My parents moved into Grand Villa of Englewood 2 years ago. They were no longer able to care for themselves but still wanted to feel somewhat independent. They were welcomed with open arms and cared for in a very loving manner. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating to their needs. A few months ago my father passed and my mother was alone for the first time in her adult life. She needs a lot of help and care with day to day activities so we moved her into the Personal care building where she has 24 hour care but still able to participate in many activities. I can honestly say that I am very satisfied and happy with her care and I know I do not have to worry about her. Her health has improved because of the care she is receiving. I visit often and am kept informed of any issues my mom may have. Looks like home and feels like family!

Mom has been at Grand Villa for 3 years in the memory care unit. She is treated with respect and like family. The staff is amazing and so very kind. They give her the best care. I would highly recommend.

Mom settled in so much more quickly than I ever expected, and a large part of the credit goes to the friendly staff who regularly bends over backward to do whatever they can to help her out. We have been very impressed. I can't emphasize enough the wonderful staff, from those who clean the rooms and do laundry to the front desk to the dining room and everyone in administration. We visit regularly and have observed nothing but kindness, patience, and a sense of humor from everyone we have encountered. It is a lovely facility and we are so pleased that we chose it for Mom. She was reluctant at first, but now enjoys being there.

We recently visited Grand Villa with our parents , everyone we met were friendly and helpful. [name removed] and his staff were extremely patient and took a lot of time explaining the assisted living concept to us as well as giving us a very informed and detailed tour to help our parents feel more comfortable. We believe that your family member would be treated well and kept safe in this community.

We placed our 90 year old mother in various facilities in both Lee and Charlotte counties with little success. She would stay days, weeks and at the most a couple months in any place we found her. She has been in Grand Villa for almost 2 years now. Grand Villa has friendly staff, friendly residents and a nice clean beachy feel. The last facility she was in was so depressing but Grand Villa is bright and cheerful. Our family loves Grand Villa. The value for the price, compared to other facilities, is incredible.

My mother has been at grand villa’s for almost 2 years in independent living with assistance and has been having a very positive experience. She has lived at several other assisted living facilities and group homes and this by far the best in every category including value. She has the perfect room for her with a sky light and small kitchenette and is close to everything she uses. We particularly like the landscaping that makes the place enjoyable to visit, we also like sitting by the pool for visits. The dining room and club room are very nice and they seem to have the appropriate events and activities for the residents. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Very nice area, close to hospital and beach and shopping.

I find the staff warm, friendly and caring. Open to comments. Well maintained. I like all the activities. You feel like you're on vacation. We went to several homes and Grand Villa had the most positive life.

I moved here in Feb of 2018 as an independent retired senior, and a recent widow. I wanted a secure, full service and comfortable new residence. These last 10 months have more then exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful facility well kept and with responsive staff, good food - delicious and nutritious. Also, wide selection of activities, I enjoy Thai Chi, stretching, discussion groups, music programs, resident council, the motto says it best - Looks like home! Feels like family!

Fine facilities, very friendly and attentive staff, would strongly recommend exploring this ALF, excellent value. We looked at a half dozen different locations in the area and were impressed and have remain impressed with this organization.

My aunt and uncle have been in Grand Villa for about 10 years now and we are very happy with their caring service. [Name removed], the executive director, and her team do a great job and my relatives have built a lasting relationship with a lot of the staff. I visit on a regular basis on different days and times to make sure I see the "real" environment and have always been impressed by their operation. I have recommended Grand Villa to family and friends over the years and some of them have moved into the residence. Although they now have a generator for possible hurricanes, they were very proactive in keeping their residents safe (and me informed) as they would evacuate well in advance of any danger to the area. This building has a beautiful, open entry area and friendly front desk people...[Name removed] is so helpful!!! There were lots of happy people playing trivia and chatting...a big building that feels so homey. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and the smiles say a lot. A great visit!!!!!!

My mother really enjoyed living here at Grand Villa in Altamonte. The rooms were a good size for her, the meals were excellent, and the staff very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend.

A great place for my mother. The staff is extremely friendly and always takes the time to say hi and talk to her. When my mom forgets to go down to the dining room they make sure to come and knock on her door to remind her. A lot of activities planned for those who want a more social life and even have outings to different places.

My mother loves it at this stage of her life. Took her a while to adjust. They can’t do enough for her. It is bright and cheery. Thank you for suggesting this facility. I would highly recommend it!

Very nice place. good lunch

My father moved here following a stay at rehab. His health has flourished ever since due to the wonderful care he receives here. He tells me daily how great everyone is and that he loves the food. He has made many friends at Grand Villa and says it is definitely home to him. I can't thank everyone at Grand Villa enough for taking such wonderful care of my dad.
