Grand Villa is a great place to live! I have to say that for a man who is 61, and I'm 20 years younger than the next person, its probably the most difficult part of it because just when you get to know a couple people and I've only been here a short time. It's hard because they pass away. A resident's wife from here, she's 96 he's 93, she fell down and got pneumonia. She's now in a rehab and they won't let her husband in until Monday, who has been together with her for 75 years, and he takes care of her like you cannot believe. So maybe I was a little bit young to come in here. All I can say is that everybody, from the Director on, has been very very nice pleasant outstanding hospitality, the whole 9 yards.

After a break~in period it has been very positive. Stable long term staffing!

My experience here has been good. I've moved around a couple of times but now I've found the perfect roommate. She is kind, courteous and very giving. I couldn't be happier living with such a perfect companion

We just moved my Mom in on 12/30. It was recommended by a place for Mom and we could not be happier. From my contact at a place for mom who was on it and very concerned for our needs to [name removed] our salesperson, [name removed] the nurse, the front desk staff and the entire housekeeping staff and maintenance staff they made our move flawless and so welcoming my mom and I both LOVE it. Truewood by Merrill, Port Charlotte, is a perfect location, close to shopping, American Legion , hospitals and a great area for daily walks. [name removed] is happy and we would recommend this community to other families.

The staff at Grandvilla does an excellent job. I have observed them being so kind, caring and considerate to the residents over the 3 years that my father has been here. I would recommend Grand Villa in Altamonte Springs to anyone needing these services for a loved one.

[name removed] went out of her way to help us in this very stressful time. We were provided with all we needed to know and we are looking forward to getting our mother moved in to begin this phase of her life. Thank you for your patience with us as we were dealing with this difficult time.

What I like the most is the cleanliness of the community. The staff is very friendly. I am an Ambassador at the community, the activities are wonderful and I greet New Residents and help them around the first week they move in.

At the beginning my experience with grand Villa was not the best, I met a few people and I loved the people. I love everyone here and I would say it was very welcoming. I feel very close to at least 10 people and I am very grateful that I met them.

Memory care is awesome. My dad has been there for 3 years and has had a great experience. I am very happy with the assistance he receives at Grand Villa. Every time I visit, the food smells amazing. The place is clean and welcoming.

[name removed] goes over and beyond. Whole staff pays attention and willing to help at any time. An amazing experience at such an upsetting time. Wish my mom wasn't declining so fast to not be able to enjoy all that she is being offered. Their guidance through the dying phase has been very helpful to me personally.

I would recommend this Grand Villa as a place to consider for a loved one. They offer several activities daily including bingo, crafts, games, live entertainment etc that provide good opportunities for socialization and fun within the community in addition to transportation to local stores & restaurants which is convenient. This villa also has an in-house therapy clinic with various equipment and therapists which is a plus! Overall, great place when comparing to others!

I moved in November 1st so I’m coming up on 2 months and everything has been fantastic. Including all the people that live here and work here, the only thing I have a slight issue with is the wellness centers lack of consideration. Other than that this place is outstanding. I’d also like to say that Jeff is the main man for all types of activities and I love the whole staff too.

I greatly enjoy living here. The people are very helpful and are always there if I need anything. There is lots to do and I am able to stay busy and have fun. I enjoy going to the movies every night and the meals are great too.

Everyone has been very kind and welcoming to me. I like the place and I love my room. I’m currently getting involved with the community and helped create a book club. My only critique is I’d like to see more activities. I loved how they decorated the community. The first night of Hanukkah celebration was magnificent. I think [name removed] and [name removed] are terrific.

When I first moved in my kids didn’t know that it was more than an assisted living. When I first came in I didn’t mind it, my roommate was great. They moved me to the first floor and that was the best decision they made. The food is always fresh I’ve never had a complaint. I must compliment Chef [name removed]. I appreciate that they have a rabbi that comes in twice a month. [names removed], the maintenance guys are the best. You can always count on them. They are very accommodating here. The activities program is robust as well I really appreciate the chanukkah special [name removed] put on for us. My only complaint is that it’s sometimes hard to get somebody to open the door for us late at night when we come back after hours.

We carefully explored several senior communities before choosing Grand Villa Sarasota for my mother, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff at Grand Villa is not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, creating an environment that truly feels like home for my mother. The abundance of activities and the presence of friendly people have made this transition from her condo a welcome and positive change for Mom. As a family, we are grateful to know that she is happy and safe in this warm and inviting atmosphere she now calls home.

I am very pleased with the Management. Very good activities. Sales people are professional and pleasant. Good representation of Community. All staff are very helpful. Enjoy the Salon. The food is very good.

I have lived here a few years with my little dog Edison. The staff and residents love Edison as much as I do and they make sure we always have what we need or want. They even have treats for him at the front desk. We have plenty to do every day, including daily exercises to get us going in the morning and many activities. We even have a coffee bar with pastries. I recommend Grand Villa.

I enjoy living here, the staff is so helpful and always smiling. We do a lot of activities and every weekend we do fun crafts and get our nails done. [names removed] have the best activities! Everyone is like family here and they always make sure we have everything we need! I highly recommend this community.
