I think it’s wonderful here. We’re very pleased, good help, kind people, great food. The chef is great. We have an awesome apartment with a pretty view. We love the rooster haha and we hope the rooster stays. Haven’t had a chance to get to activities due to personal reasons but everyone says it’s great. I would love to try the arts and crafts.

Had a few questions from my Sister who is moving in shortly. It was quick and informative.everyone is so very polite and nice! We looked at many ALFs and the location is good, very clean and many activities for her to partake in.

My aunt is thriving at riverside. She was not keen on the idea, She got resident of the month, She is made one good friend and few others, And two weeks ago, she started teaching bridge since nobody there seemed to play. I would give it a five out of five rating.

GrandVilla is a couple of hours from my house. Selected the place because of the diversity of the residents and the Spanish speaking also among the staff. It was a great decision, always clean, attentive staff that will call if they have questions to help my mom, tons of activities and enjoyment for the residents. Definitely recommended!

It was the right choice for our mom. She is in a safe, clean and friendly community. She is well taken care of and has the social stimulation she needs. We no longer need to worry. We know she is in good hands.

I love it here, the staff is amazing and friendly. Everyone here really does a good job and it shows each and every day. I've made tons of friends since moving here and life couldn't be any better, praise jesus and amen.

I have lived at Grand Villa Deland for years now. I've seen major improvements in the staff, employees and activities. I am very proud to live here and I enjoy seeing all the new tours come in to have a look around. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Grand Villa Deland is true to their slogan, "Looks like home. I have been living on my own for a long time and I was honestly scared that I would be stuck in an old dirty nursing home. I am very happy to say that I am not, since I have been here everyone has been so nice. I am a huge Disney fan and there was a Mickey plush waiting for me in my room when I got here. The attention to detail really made me feel special.

I have lived at Grand Villa of Deland since October 2023. I can't express enough great things to say about my experience. I unfortunately had to leave once for a short time to go into rehab, but when I came back I had the most heartfelt welcome home. The staff and other residents treat me like their family and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Absolutely AMAZING community! A lot of reviews include the nursing team which are fantastic but I’d like to address the amazing housekeeping team, my mother adores these woman they take the time to talk with her, they remember small details and are always so friendly. I’m blessed that I know my mom has attention and the friendship she has received while at grand villa. The executive director [name removed] is very friendly you see him often engaging with the employees and residents he is very communicative and you can see he really cares. If your thinking about this as an option for your love one I encourage you to trust they have made my mom feel like family, we are always greeted when we visit they will accommodate as much as they can for your love one.

Great experience, family like atmosphere, wonderful service by administration. I feel that my love one is receiving the best care possible. The staff is always willing to help you in any way they can. Would highly recommend this facility

Just moved my mother in from NY and I must say I have never seen her smile so much. The facility is very clean and the staff are wonderful very caring and oh so helpful. I visit 2-3 times a week and have never had any issues. It’s been only a couple of months and I have seen a total transformation in her agitation and behaviors. Thank you Grand View !!!!!

I showed up unannounced today, she was comfortable in the dining room waiting on lunch. I noticed her hearing aids where not in here ears. I asked the nurse, she and l looked high and low , she called in the cavalry, thanks everyone for assisting, yes they we're not lost. The night nurse put them away as instructed and they where in her hearing aid box. I'm very grateful for everyone taking care of mom.

Outstanding caretakers! Most people are kind and patient even when the patients aren’t easy to deal with. My uncle is in memory care and has some issues and I in all my visits haven’t seen anyone be mean to him or any patience. I can now relax and know my Uncle is in a safe nurturing environment. Doctors and nurses quickly let me know when he had a fall and kept me updated. They also listen to me and let me work with them on his medications and care. Very happy I place him there when it became too much for me to care for him!

When I first arrived I noticed the grounds were in immaculate condition. Upon entering I was greeted by friendly staff and the residents all looked happy and well taken care of. The Leasing Coordinator, Sakes Assistant and the Executive Director were wonderful explaining to me what I needed to know to make the best decisions. They made me feel like I was welcome and at home.

Amazing staff, well run, terrific food, transformative system encouraging independence. Plans for further renovation. Beautiful location and serene views. Everything you want, nothing you don’t. Well done!!
